A dark shape drifted silently over the pitch black waters, breaking through the mist. Captain Fisher stood on his navy ship's bow, a light breeze rustling his neat blond hair. His uniform was crisp and his medals where shined. He felt the need to look his best at all times, he was, after all, the very best looking captain in the royal navy. It cramped his style that he was still being forced to look for that missing De La Vega girl. She was probably dead by then anyways or captured by pirates, being she had gone missing nearly eight years ago. Her grandmother still insisted that she still be searched for. The old bag probably lost her marbles a LONG time ago. As he thought, he finger combed his hair back and watched the shadowed ship approach the harbor. It grew steadily closer, lamps flickering dully, casting a glow upon the water. Fisher regarded it without any worry. No one would be foolish enough to take him on. The ship didn't seem to be a ship of the armada or the navy, that was for certain. It wasn't a merchant ship either, for that matter. The narcisistic captain stuck out his chin and puffed out his medal covered chest, then bellowed "You there, ship, identify yourself!" There was no reply. After a moment, Fisher tryed again "If you are an enemy ship, I'll be forced to take you down and arrest you." This time, there was a reply,
"No my dear captain, I don't think you will." A cool female voice said mockingly.
"I wouldn't mock captain Fisher, fair maiden." He said in reply.
"Fair maiden, eh?" Then a shadow flew through the air, clothes billowing as it appered to swing on a rope from the other ship "I may be able to change your mind." Julianna 'Iceheart' De La Vega landed with the grace of a cat infront of captain Fisher. She leaned against the railing and propped a hand on her hip "I hear you don't take well to pirates. Captain De La Vega, not at your service."
Fisher's eyes widened in shock and surprise. He managed to keep calm tones to his voice as he laughed and said "De La Vega! My dear, I've been looking for you everywhere! Why don't you come with me, and I'll get you back to your family, hm?" He moved towards her "Your such a pretty little thing to be living the life of a sea barbarian." He reached out to touch her cheek, as if to flirt with her. That was his first mistake. With ease, Julianna whipped a dagger from her boot strap and held it to his throat "Never try to touch me again, pretty boy. We wouldn't want your blood to stain that lovely uniform would we?" She whispered in his ear.
"N-no. No, we wouldn't I suppose. And I wouldn't want to have to kill you eather. How about you come with me, and no one has to be hurt."
"I'd have to say no to that preposal."
"Fine then, De La Vega. It's a shame to have to kill you, your family will be crushed. MEN! ON DECK!" He shouted as about ten sleepy guards slumped up from the sleeping bunkers on to the deck. Julianna meerly turned her head towards her ship and said "Ladies, mind giving me a hand?" Then all of a sudden, twenty members of Julianna's crew, all of the twenty of them being female, swung on to the ship. "Take them." Julianna drew her sword as the guards and the pirates locked in to combat. Captain Fisher rushed at Julianna, his own sword held high. Julianna looked at him and said with her voice dripping with sarcasm "I am so terrified now. I've made the pretty boy mad." With a few rather complex moves, Julianna got Fisher pinned under her foot on the deck. He turned his head and saw all his men tied to the ship's mast. "I yeild I yeild!" He whined patheticly "Let me go please!"
"No Fisher, I don't think I will. See you killed my parents, and now I'll just kill you." Her voice was like ice, but her eyes flamed with fury
"But your parents were nobles, I wouln't kill a noble." He spluttered
"That's what many thought, but they were dead wrong." And with that, she ran him through, and before he slipped off to death she bent and whispered to him "They were pirates, and you'll take that to your grave."

^Younger Julianna^ ^Current Julianna^ ^Older Julianna^ Character Name: Julianna "Iceheart" De La Vega Gender: Female Age: 17 Character Bio: Julianna became a pirate when she was nine years of age. Before that, she lived a high class life with her mother and father. Unknown to her, they were pirates too. Her grandmother on the other hand, was a snooty duchess who hated the very thought of pirates. Julianna had discussed with her parents that she'd like to live her life sailing the seas. They were worried about their young daughter living such a life at her age, but they wanted her to follow her heart and do whatever made her happy. Julianna's grandmother on the other hand, was appauled by this. She forbid Julianna from leaving the house. One night, Julianna's parents helped her escape to the sea, where she now lives. Julianna has a Spanish background (thus the fancy pants name) and has a slight accent. Character Personality: Julianna's a real sassbucket. She's fierce and fiery. Don't make her mad. She's somewhat of a "tortured artist" if you will. Julianna hardly ever shows any emotion other than passion and anger. She seems to only be happy in the company of her beloved guitar. Julianna works quite well with others even with her people skills being low. She is very loyal and hates seeing her friends and loved one's being hurt. The only jokes she ever tells aren't really jokes, they're more just humerouse sarcasm. Julianna speaks with a very 'colourful' vocabulary. It takes ALOT of time to gain this girl's trust, but once it's gained, you've got yourself a life long friend. The deaths of her parents and other loved one's has beaten at Julianna's soul. When she first ran off to be a pirate, she was bubbley, happy and humerous. Those days are no more. Character Description: Julianna has lightly tanned skin, due to years and years at sea. She has thick, brilliant red hair that falls in waves to her mid back that she keeps in a french braid. She often ties a silk scarf around her head. Julianna's eyes are rather strange. Her right eye is a deep, forest green and her other eye is a burnt orange brown. She dresses alot like a gypsie of sorts, but her flowing skirts do a great job of conceiling the pistols and knives that she often has strapped to her legs. Julianna normally has on simple, white sleevless shirts to allow freedom of movement, or swishy peasent style shirts to hide her knives when in a place where weapons are frowned upon. Numerouse bangles and bracelets and earings adorn her wrists and ears. She has her nails painted crimson and grows them long and to a point. Julianna's rather short for her age, only being 5'3, but she still towers over everyone when in command. Julianna sometimes smokes a pipe. Pirate or not?: Pirate Weapons Used: Her pistols and sword, and the knives that she has strapped to her wrists and lower legs, and hidden in her boot straps Superstitions: Gold earings ward of evil spirits Julianna is CaptainCharacter Name: Rionna 'Rio' Scarlet Gender: Female Age: 15 Character Bio: Rio was an orphan raised by a traveling group of actors. They always got her to play the part of the pirate because she was so good at swordplay. One day, the group went overseas to preform. After they unloaded and settled in, Rio went for a walk along the docks, and was taken by pirates. She started out as a slave, fetching things for the captain and whatnot. As time wore on, the crew took a liking to the girl, and premoted her to lookout. Eventually, she was one of the crew. It was her new home. But as all good things must come to an end, Rio wished to seek out a life beyond the ship that she had grown to love, so she left in search of new places. Character Personality: Rio is quiet and reserved, and doesn't speak out too much. On the outside, she looks to be an innocent young lady, not fit for pirate life, but inside she's clever, calculating and very sly. Due to living a childhood with actors, she is theatrical when she feels like it, or when comfortable with those around her. Character Description: Rio has long, golden blond hair that has streaks of white bleached by the sun and salt air. She has lavender eyes and pale skin. She often wears tatty skirts over loose fitting pants and knee high boots. She has a pendant around her neck, the only thing to remind her of her parents. It is a twisted and jagged chunk of amythest on a simple legnth of rope. She has a thick leather belt around her waist on which she keeps her daggers and at most times, her jewel hilted sword. Rio is used by ships as their spy because of her ability to go about unnoticed, despite her ravishing beauty that would probably be paid attention to by many. She wears black, fingerless leather gloves that have three knives on each that flip up from their sheaths when you remove the leather band that keeps them tied down. Rio is able to slide the band back with her teeth. Rio is 5'6, medium build and with well muscled arms that come from some time of climbing up to the crows nest, then climbing back down to fight whomever she saw up there. Pirate or not?: Pirate Weapons Used: Her sword, daggers and her knife gloves Superstitions: None, really Rio is LookoutCharacter Name: Mordecai 'Mordy' Rodriques Gender: Male Age: 19 Character Bio: Mordecai has been a pirate all his life, born of pirate parents on a pirate ship. In the past, he's been a helmsman and a First Mate. Character Personality: Cassenova pretty much describes Mordecai. He's charming, handsom, romantic and swave. He's a flirt and very good at it. He works wit and humor in to almost anything, including fights. Mordecai's able to talk his way out of any situation, but when he needs to, he can fight his way out using fast and classy moves. Character Description: Mordecai wears very flamboiant clothes that show off his muscles (calm down ladies wink ) He wears thick leather gloves that protect his hands when his hawk, Valentino, perches on them. He has a little pointy beardy...thing that I forget the name of and a neatly trimmed moustache. His hair is just past shoulder legnth, reddish brown and wavey. He speaks with a spanish accent in a pleasent baritone. Pirate or not?: Pirate Weapons Used: Sword and whatever he can get his hands on Superstitions: It's bad luck to set sail on a friday

((I'll be working on them in here... Because I'm too lazy to open another programme)) Character Name: Jacqueline 'Jack' Dempsey Gender: Female Age: 15 Character Bio: Not much is known about Jacqueline. Or her past. She seems to have suddenly come out of no where along with Rushil. Their relationship is never truely clear. Sometimes they seem to be like brother and sister, but other times they seem like partners. Jacquline isn't likely to tell you much about her life if asked. Or if she does say anything she'll be vary vague. Character Personality: Jacqueline is not the most modest of ladies. Infact she's crass, and she likes boys, and not afraid to brawl. She maintains however, afterwards as she smooths down her hair and clothes, with a sneer that she is a lady and never starts the fights she's in. She just tends to finish them. She's generally quite happy, just being around Rushil and having fun. Character Description: Jacqueline is of average height for her age, though possibly slightly shorter. She has madly curly brown hair which falls to her shoulders if not tied back. She does quite like her hair, which match her deep soulful brown eyes. She is always found wearing a small pendant necklace but otherwise her clothes are the most changable thing about her. Jacqueline enjoys a damn good scrub up. Mostly because they happen so rarely. But other wise she will often be found in a poet shirt, all white and flouncy, falling off her shoulders as it's several times too big and trousers. Pirate or not?: Not, more of a petty theif, but not opposed to the idea. Weapons Used: Her fists mostly. She carries a couple of knives and a gun. Superstitions: None. Character Name: Rushil Kreeli Gender: Male Age: 20 Character Bio: Like Jacqueline, not much is known about Rushil. He isn't very well known, but if he is it's in conjunction with Jacqueline. Also, Like Jacqueline he won't tell you much about his past. But unlike her, he won't start talking about something else and if you push him, you're likely to get punched. Character Personality: Unlike Jack, Rushil is quite calm. He's more of a lover, than a fighter. But he doesn't say that any more. He's crass and doesn't put on airs... Though he's usually the one telling Jakc to watch her mouth and dragging her off from a fight. He likes to get drunk, he likes girls. But he doesn't think drunken lurches are the best way to show his affections. He can be quite sweet, but is usually quiet but not shy. Character Description: Rushil has dark hair and although the picture doesn't show it, piercing blue eyes. He's slim, but not scrawney like Jack. More... Toned, but no bulging muscles. He's rarely scrubbed up and usually wears black so not to stand out, and when Jack isn't stealing his clothes, he'll wear them. Pirate or not?: Not, more of a petty theif, but not opposed to the idea. Weapons Used: You would not think it to look at him - But he's armed to the teeth. He can pull almost anything out on you, if need be. Superstitions: None.

Username: Vanir_Wolfe Character name: Deva Belkte Morn. Age: 24 Personality: Deva is a very dark, and stormy person. She tends to keep to herself, spending long hours staring off to sea. She doesn't say much, simply regards the world with the kind of cold speculation that comes from having a hard life. Despite hes hard appearance, she is naturally kind hearted, though her empathy has been brutally beaten down by the scornful ocean breeze. She never fully opens up to anyone, since the last time she trusted someone with her deepest fears and secrets, they...Well, she hasn't forgot it. She is a hard worker, and will always complete any tasks that she needs to, without hesitation. Even though she is a very lonely soul, she resents the hands of friendship and sticks to herself, regardless...Almost as though it were punishment... The only reprieve she seems to find is in her poetry, which she writes religiously. Pirate or not: Pirate, wholeheartedly. Bio: Her Father was a Pirate, who had raped her mother during a pillaging. Her mother was taken captive aboard the ship as a whore, but when it became apparent that she was pregnant with his child, they fed her, clothed her, and treated her kindly. When Deva was born, however, the responsibility fell upon her Father to take care of her; her mother had committed suicide. Because of his daughter, he gave up on a live of plunder, and settle down in a small settlement off the cost of Spain. He raised her as he had wanted a son, and treated her with love, and care. She was taught all the ropes of Piracy, and when her Father passed away from heart failure, she took up the family name and tracked down her Father's old crew. She stayed with them until her 22nd birthday, when the ship crashed against the side of a bank of rocks, causing severe damage. She was blamed for the accident, due to her 'poor steering', so she left them to repair the damage on their own. Julianna found her a year later, living quite comfortably with other people's good's, in a small, but rich settlement near where her and her Father once lived. She has been with them ever since. Superstitions: A single crow flying overhead in the morning is an omen of death.
Deva is Helmswoman.
