Welcome to the (currently) one and only Mai HiME and Mai Otome guild! biggrin

This guild was created on April 3rd, 2005, 12:22 AM CST. Happy birthday.
Huge thanks to Sir Langley for helping getting it started. Including the funds. <3

Make sure to watch when this thread is updated to keep current on events, rules, and happenings. (: You wouldn't want to miss things, now would you poppet?

Yuri again, much delayed but finally here, we have a random chatter forum. Off topic threads and the random chatter thread has been moved to that forum.

Yuri here, we've finished moving things to the best of our belief, and the sub forums are open. If your topic appear to be missing, it's probably been moved. Nothing was deleted.

Please re-scan the rules to see the new things laid out, and pay attention to where things go now. If you notice anything that's wonky/in the wrong place, please tell us. And as always we welcome your feedback in the feedback thread.

Also we welcome Barentine to her new crew status, she's going to be helping us out with moderly duties.

Started moving old topics to the according sub-forums, so it won't affect guild activity too much.

The sub-forums will be open shortly, once all of the proper announcement and sticky threads are up and running.

Happy New Year! We are moving junk around right now, creating two new subforums. For now they are mod locked, as we set them up. For now resume normal guild functions. We'll let you know when things change, keep your eyes peeled. (:

Not much to update! the guild is growing wonderfully thanks to you all, and I hope to see it continue to grow.

There's a bunch more banners available now thanks to Yolko down below too. Check 'em out.

With 33 users, and roughly three months, we have reached 1001 posts. biggrin Yay. Spread the word around to your Mai HiME fan gaia buddies, more members equals more guild activity. And this is a good thing.

-Rules and guidelines-

The forum breakdown goes like this-

My HiME = Threads that are exclusively related to Mai HiME

My Otome = Threads that are exclusively related to My Otome/My Otome ZWEI

That Seedy Bar (random chatter) - Totally random stuff goes in here. A funny thing that happened to you on the bus last Tuesday, other anime you like, music, etc.

Natsuki's undie drawer (main forum) = Random mish-mosh that is guild related, or related to both series. Things like games, RP threads, fanart thread, etc.
However, there is an official Mai HiME vs. Mai Otome thread stickied. Please do not make a million of these for each aspect of the series. Plot, characters, music, all things you want to argue about which is better goes in that thread.

General rules across all forums:

1. Don't spam. Spam posts will be terminated. This isn't a goldmine, it's a discussion chat. Spammers will be warned, banned, and make this guild not public. Don't make me do that.

Posting things like "OMG TATERZ IS SEW HAWT!111!!" Isn't really necessary either. If you're making a thread like that, try to be a little constructive "Shizuru is a good looking girl, and has a interesting personality!" A+ Discussion.
This should be a no brainer, but threads in this guild should pertain to Mai HiME/Mai Otome/the guild. Other things go in the Miscellaneous chat thread.

Bumping is spam. For the love of Joe's sweet sweatshorts, don't bump.

2. Repeat threads are a no-no. They will be deleted, persistant posting of repeats gets you banned.

3. Don't netspeak. It's annoying to everyone, no matter what language we are fluent in. We don't like English or any other language being butchered either. Remember people judge intelligence by spelling and grammar.

4. Be considerate. It's okay to disagree with people, but don't start a flame war. On that note, don't be hateful.

5. Follow Gaia TOS, duh. PG -13. That means that site with the pictures of Mai and Natsuki doing things we may or may not want to see anyway isn't appropriate.

6. I make no guarantees about this guild being spoiler proof.It's just too hard to spoiler proof everything. Spoilers suck, but enough people have seen the series where discussion is just going to veer into spoiler zones at any time. Sorry to those who haven't seen the whole series, you take your series surprise into your own hands in this guild.

These may change/be added to at any time if needed.

Don't ask to be on this list, because you won't get on it that way.

Listen to the staff if they tell you something. This shouldn't be a problem. If it is, please remember the guild crew has the right to tear your face off and remove you from the guild. biggrin

But we're also here to help. If you have a question, feel free to ask one of the above people. Keep in mind though if you have a forum specific question, ask the person who is in charge of that forum.
