*nods* I'm really into this book series called "The Five Ancestors" it's really good. So far they only have three books out
1. Tiger
2. Monkey
3. Snake
Practically it is about these five young monks: Fu (Tiger), Malao (Monkey), Seh (Snake), Hok (Crane), and Long (Dragon), about 9-14 I think, who were chosen by their Grandmaster to carry out the traditions of Cangzhen Temple, unfortuantly their former monk brother, Ying (Eagle), has come back for vengence with an Imperial Army and destroys the temple, after four scrolls of the Dragon-Style arts to take control of his true 'destiny' and ultimately kills the Grandmaster while the five young monks flee, taking some of the said scrolls with them.
After this event all sorts of things happen, including their own parents. Though for now the story has been focusing on Fu, Malao, and Seh a lot and the next book it centers around Hok, who turns out to be a girl rather than a boy and has brown hair as opposed to black.
No whereabouts of Long since they separated.
I think you'd like Ying, he reminds me a bit of Chase Young

Ying has quite a tragic past... He was just your average child under the name Saulong (Vengeful Dragon) growing up happen... until the Grandmaster came along... the Grandmaster comes in and kills Ying's father then takes Saulong away from his mother and forced him away from the dragon arts to the eagle arts under the name Ying... no wonder he hated Grandmaster... though he has a grotesque way of showing what he wants to be... he carved dragon scale looking marks on his own body and formed his tongue to a fork shape. x.o

I've heard of a man that had tiger stripes tattooed onto his entire body, had his teeth sharpened to resemble that of a tiger, and grew his nails out and cut them to resemble claws.
Hmm. I'm definitely going to get a faux lipring one day.
