Trainer's Log

4/2/05:
Today I began my journey in Route 1. Although I have caught no Pokemon as of yet, I hope to soon.

4/5/05:
I have left Route 1, and entered Viridian City. Still no Pokemon, but I hope to capture one while in the Viridian Forest. I will be leaving for Route 2 and the forest tomorrow morning after stocking up on food and various other essentials.

4/6/05:
After leaving Viridian City this morning, I walked through Route 2. It took longer than normal because after I had reached the halfway point, I was chased all the way back to the city by an angry flock of Pidgey. I have absolutely no idea why they were chasing me, but fortunately I was not injured. After finally entering the forest, I began to feel rather alone and a little afraid. I am really wishing for some companionship, either human or Pokemon.

4/8/05:
There was a blizzard in the forest (fortunately I had a tent), and I found a lost grey Sentret named Slate. His trainer, Isis, and her friend Garnet found him, and I offered to share my tent. We became friends quickly, and they even helped me in my search for a Pokemon. Unfortunately, the storm had driven them all into hiding.

4/16/05:
Sadly, I am on my own again now. Isis left shortly after Garnet recieved a Growlithe named Hanyou from her family (she seems to dislike Growlithe with a passion), and then Garnet left as well, leaving me some tips on Pokemon catching. Since the weather has improved, I packed up my tent and began to search in earnest for a Pokemon.

5/25/05:
Today has been a good day. Not only did I meet up with Garnet again, I have a Pokemon! She's a black Meowth named Deja. It was really strange how I got her; I saw something in the bushes, and I walked over and whatever it was left a strange Pokeball, with Deja inside. The odd thing is, my Pokedex said that she was mine, even though I'd never seen her before. Very strange.

Past Companions
Isis and Garnet, two female trainers whom Ieva met up with in Viridian Forest when she found Isis' missing Sentret, Slate. She then offered to share her tent with them for the duration of the currently occurring blizzard, and they became good friends. Here is a picture of the three of them, taken by Isis.
