[1] About Sky Islands [2] Sky Islands Map [3] Rules + FAQ [4] Main House [5] Shops [6] Bestiary [7] Current Players + Scores
So what is a Mosh Contest (or Battle) I hear you ask? Simple! Mosh is like a game of tips (you know, where you run around and tap people on the shoulder, then they run around and chase people to tap them on the shoulder?) except it is played in the bizzare world of Randonium! Also, instead of tapping people, you "bump shoulders" with them!
Mosh on WRU is like a Role Playing Game - or RPG. It's quite complicated, actually. Basically, you sign up for the game, create a quick character, and when the game starts, you run across the many small islands and stepping stones that make up Sky Islands. There are enemies to watch out far, such as a fierce doppelganger and evil mushrooms. Stalk and run after the other players, in the attempt to "mosh" them - basically bump your shoulders against them. Everytime you do this, it earns you a point, with which you can either use to win the whole game, or buy items at the stores to increase your chances at moshing people, or escaping from people. At the end of a month or so, the player with the most points wins the game, getting a shiny trophy, and a special Gaia prize of either items or money!!!
Sky Islands is a huge series of islands floatting islands, high up in the atmosphere, so high that they are almost in space!

In order to help you around the Sky Islands, a bunch of Space Cows gave this map to us! The numbers on the make corrispond with the following things below!
1: Main Island is where everbody starts from. You may not mosh or be moshed on Main Island. It is a place of safety, to escape from the havoc and excitement, thought you may only stay on Main Island for TWO POSTS, no more!! You can also regester for the contest here (# 16 on map), and buy some equipment (# 17)!!
2: Shepish Island is fairly dangerous, but it is very peaceful. It is the biggest island, and is home to a huge lake, which in term is home to the man eating Shepish, an animal crossed between a Sheep and a Piranha; so it's a good idea not to go dangling your feet in the icy water.
3: On Island #3, there isn't much to see (I'm a poet and I know it!)...! Except some huge fig trees and the Evil Tree-dwelling Bouncing Magic Mushrooms. Beware of them!! They are EEVVIIILLL!!!!
4: MoooDonalds Island. Come here for a quick refreshment and to be served by Space Cows. The fresh milk is lovely, too! But beware of line moshing!
5: Middle Island. Just your ordenary island, but one of the main meeting places of the Space Cows. Watch in fasination as they jostle each other for copyright laws to new francises! Space Cows fly above in the stars with giants billboards, banners, and LCD TVs, displaying all sorts of advertising for mooichendice, TV shows, moovies, moosly, MoooDonalds, milk, shoes, etc. Watch out for the dropping poop though!
6: Island #6. A few bushes and a couple of San Sharks are all that is here.
7: Island #7. A bare island. Yippee.
8: Island #8. See above. The very same.
9: Island #9. A small island, but watch out, it's home to a moshing Doppelganger! It'll take on the form of whoever past by before you, and armed with a hook hand that shoots wooden fences, will try to grab a point by moshing you! Thankfully, the Doppelganger cannot move from Island to Island, but it will appear in reflective surfaces throughout the islands to try and mosh you.
10: Island #10. Bare, though littered with Space Cow pats.
11: Island #11. Home to a few tiny trees that have bees as flowers. Watch out for Evil Ground-dwelling Bouncing Magic Mushrooms who come to feast on the Bee-Flowers. Carefull! If they attack you, you lose points!
12: Island #12. Home to a fig tree that steals iPods off people. Grab an iPod tht hangs from the trees branches and be transported to a different Island by listening to it's enchanting music.
13: Island #13. Bare. Nothing to see here.
14: Island #14. See above.
15: Island #15. Bare, but... Is there something hollow below you? Grab the handle poking out from under the grass to invesigate.
16: The Main House. Come here to sign in and regester into the Mosh Contest.
17: The Store. Buy special items, weapons, armour and equipment etc. from here, all designed to MAKE YOU WIN!!!
18: The MoooDonalds shop. Like The Store, the food, drink, and little toys that you get inside the Milk Meels (copyrighted) grants you strength, speed and sometimes even points! But it'll cost you your Points!

There are MANY rules to a mosh contest, but keep to them properly, and have a great, fun time! Also, note that you should read ALL of these rules, as they are in a hapdash order.
General Rules:
[1] What the "referie" (Alfred_Baramender) says, goes. Feel free to ask for an exception/haggle/argue or whatever, but if it gets over the top you WILL be disqualified!! [2]You may only jump/walk/fly from 1 island each post, unless you have an item that rules this out (see "Shops"). [3] When posting, please post at LEAST 3 sentances. [4] Chat speak (including things like "how r u? r u good?) is not liked. Please speak properly, with fairly good grammer and spelling. [5] The more effort you put it to your RPing, the better and funner the game is. [6] You may only use an item if you move to an island with a shop on it, and buy an item with whatever Points you have (see "Shops"). [7] Keep track of items that you have. [8] You do not need to keep track of your points, as the ref does that, but you may. [9] Points will be updated in the "Players + Scores". If you wanna see your current points, go there.
Moshing Rules:
[1] If you are going to try and mosh somebody, you must first be on the same island as them. [2] Remember that your player does not know where the other players are, so don't make out you know everything that is going on. For example, a player could be hiding behind a bush near-by, and there is a good chance you will not see them, so don't pretend you can. [3] PLEASE BE FAIR!! If you just keep on moshing and moshing people, there is no fun. The same goes if you just keep on running away from people. If the ref does not think you are being fair, they WILL act! [4] When moshing people, you MUST say "Mosh!" when you mosh them.
More rules will be added as I think of them, as people ask questions, and as the game progresses!
FAQ: If you have a question, feel free to PM me about it, and I will answer and add it to this FAQ. Try not to ask them in this thread.

Welcome to the Shop section of the breifing. Here you can see what items are for sale in either of the two shops, what they do, and how much they cost!
Items never run out of stock, but sometimes you can only by one per mosh battle. Items change with each mosh contest. You may for the items with your MOSH POINTS, and you can only buy an item from a certain store if you are on the island that has that store. On Sky Islands, there are two stores: The Main House Store (found on Main Island, #17) and Mooodonalds (found on Mooodonalds Island, #1 cool . There are also other items that can be found around the islands, items that don't have to be bought. But remember this vital rules: You must USE THE POINTS YOU HAVE WON FROM MOSHING PEOPLE TO BUY THE ITEMS!
MAIN HOUSE STORE ITEMS:
___________________________________________________________ Name: Credit Card Cost: None Desciption: Quickly, get yourself a credit card as soon as the game starts! They cost nothing, and are vital if you wanna buy actual items that DO things. Credit Cards store your mosh Points, so when you want to, you can use it to buy things. Without one, you can't buy any items! One per player though! ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________
Name: Shinny Fish Cost: 1 point Description: Mmm, shinny fish! This beautiful but dead fish is used to appease the Shepish in the Big Lake. If you toss this in, the Shepish will ignore you for 4 WHOLE POSTS! That way, if another player comes a a walking through Shepish Island, you can toss this fish in, jump into the murky lake, and hide in it for 4 posts until the player goes away! Yippee! ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________ Name: Sword Cost: 2 points Description: This is the ONLY thing that can defeat the ebil Doppelganger that lives on Island #9! This magical sword slices through it's ghostly body like butter! And if you kill the Doppelganger, you instantly get 4 WHOLE POINTS!! And you don't even have to do anything, just walk up to it's island and lop it's head off! Unfortunetly, the doppelganger is the only thing the sword effects, so don't go try lopping off OTHER players heads. So if you buy it after someone else has killed the dopperganger, it was a waste of points. ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________
Name: Hermes Wings Cost: 3 points Description: These magical, shinny wings give you extra speed. Watch as you zip over the islands, avoiding monsters and other players, to mosh those you wanna mosh easily! With these wings, you can just FLY over the islands! And instead of moving by one island at a time, you can move at 4!! One per person though! Name: Vial of MILD DOOM! Cost: 2 points Description: This one is pretty simple. In this vial holds a strange liquid that makes you invincible to any attacks, both from monsters or players trying to mosh you, for 3 POSTS! You can even stop counter moshing attacks with this (where you try to mosh someone and they try to mosh you back)! You can buy however many you want, too! ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________ Name: Potion of ULTIMATE DOOM! Cost: 4 points Description: The Potion is basically an upgrade of the Vial! In this potion holds a liquid that makes you invincible for 6 POSTS! Buy as many as you want, though they're pretty pricey. ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________
Name: Mirror Cost: 3 points Description: Legend has it that the doppelganger that lives on Island #9 cannot move from his island, chained there by long forgotten magic. But somehow, the doppelganger discovered that he could travel all over the Islands, as long as he went via REFLECTION meens. That ment that he could appear whereever he wanted, as long as it was in a MIRROR, water, glass, etc. This way, he could also mosh people! It is said that this mirror has the power to contain the doppelganger and make it obey it's master (who controls the mirror). If you leave the mirror around somewhere, perhaps the doppelganger might visit it, and become trapped forever in it's glassy prison! And if you control the mirror, you can make the doppelganger mosh people FOR YOU! So YOU get the points the doppelganger reseives! Just beware when leaving the mirror around, as another player might pick it up and gain ownership of it! ___________________________________________________________
MOOODONALDS ISLAND ITEMS:
___________________________________________________________ Name: Grass Burger Cost: 1 point Description: A healthy alternitive to normal burgers! Give you a burst of energy, so that you can move 2 ISLANDS in each post for 2 POSTS. You can also use it appease the Tree-Dweling Mushrooms. Just leave it out fr them and back away slowly. Space Cows LOVE these.... Maybe you could persuade one to do something for you for the burger...? ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________
Name: Milkshake Cost: 1 point Description: A MILK shake is just that: SHAKEN MILK!! Pretty much the same as a Grass Burger. See what happens though, when you pour it onto the roots on a few trees.... *wink wink* ___________________________________________________________
RANDOM ITEMS: These are items that you can pick up around the islands, not from stores.
___________________________________________________________ Name: Bee-Flowers Cost: None Description: The only food that Ground-Dwelling Mushrooms eat. Pluck these from a Bee-Flower tree on the #11 Island and chuck them at a mushroom so it'll ignore you as you sneak past. Also, Ground-Dwelling Mushrooms swarm over Bee-Flowers, where ever they are, so if you just HAPPEN to drop one in front of a player and RUN, some mushrooms might be there, quick as a flash to eat the flowers and Mosh-Steal points! ___________________________________________________________
___________________________________________________________
Name: iPod Cost: None Description: This amazing device alows you to go to any island that you want, as quick as a flash, just by listing to a song! iPods can be found on Island #12. Grab them off the fig tree, and listen to it's music. Be careful though, the battery runs out AFTER 3 USES! That means you can go to any island you want, even if it's way over the other side, but you can only do this 3 TIMES!
So, there you have it, a long list of items to be found on Sky Islands! Each has a special and unique use - some better than others, of course. The only downside to this is that you must USE THE POINTS YOU HAVE WON FROM MOSHING PEOPLE TO BUY THE ITEMS!
