I thought that this site might need a new main image with a little artistry from one of our artists here in the forum. This is just a way to get more members and to spice up the site.
I will make an acception to the rules for this contest: Murals and collab art are accepted. You can also do wallpaper are but it must fit the screen on the main page. Please read the rules and good luck! I will fill you in on the prizes later when I get enough.
RULES!
1. Your work (if drawn) must be original. NO ACCEPTIONS! If I have seen this style done before and it's someone elses art you will be banned from the guild. Sorry but thems the breaks.
2. You can submit either colored or b/w. Just keep in mind that this will be on the main page and should be vibrant.
3. Originality is key in this contest. YOu can submit really anything as long as it's PG-13 rated. No hentaii or yaoi/yuri images. Unfortunetly but that's the rule for these guilds.
4. Send me a .jpeg, .bmp, or .gif file of your image. I don't think animated gifs will work but a transparent gif works. Just no pdf files, of course. (no PNG files, please.)
5. Post your name and what you felt while working on the pic. YOu can add the name of the site if you like. If not I will add the name later.
Just have fun and PM me for further info.
The deadline for this contest will be August 2nd. (my birthday) of this year. So you all have time.

We have one entry! Silver Spear was so nice as to ask many questions and all she needs to do is to fill out where she got the image from and everything else and it's official. These are nifty but it's for the banner or the main siggi. For now I only have one entry that is going to work for the main page. It looks great so get on those entry banners like the one I have now and submit em!
I am working on getting some gold for prizes so check back.

own style? well what if you dont HAVE certain style? see i can't exactly draw something from an image in my head. i have to SEE it to draw it. so i mainly just draw what i see. so if its anime related, the style that the picture is, is mainly the style of the original artist themself. not sure if that counts or anything but i have my own trigun character i created and drew in with a mess of other trigun characters. ^^; ill just post a pic and see if you will still except it. if not, then thats fine. http://www.deviantart.com/view/10176793/
