The weyrlings have thier lesson to one side of the weyr bowl. V'nar is the Weyrling Master, and for now, the only one. Xavern is small enough to need only one, and they have the best. Xavern has won the weyrling part of the summer games four out of the five past years. THis is all due to V;nar and his good ability with children.
I fyou ever need somone to talk to, an ear to listen, or advice; V'nar is who you will be refered to. He is everyone's secret keeper and has never told another person's secrets.
V'nar is fair and just. He teaches the lessons as he see fit and no one disagrees with him. So don't go crying to a rider if you can't handle it. They did and you more than likly won't get any sympthy from them.
Lets alll hope you read you Handbooks, V'nar likes po quizes!!
((This is an OOT thread...so the things that are happening with the Weyr arn't here.))

((Sorry I've ment to get this up, I've just been really busy!!!))
V'nar walked out onto the Weyr Bowl from the ground floor. The sun was just around the horizon. He had an hour before he was going to wake the weyrlings and he had to get things ready. He looked up at the weyrs, wondering exactly where Danarth was.
The brown came out of his weyr and dived down, backwinging slighlty to stay hovering above ground. I am here. Now would you like me to start? Without waiting for an anwser, the brown dived at a wherry and neatly broke it's neck. He went over to V'nar and droped it, turning to get another. Seven weyrling means four wherries. Correct?
Yes. And thank you. V'nar took out his knife and started to gut the wherry. The first day he was just going to teache them out to cut the meat. Tomorrow he'd show them houw to gut the acctual wherry. Danarth dropped three more wherries by him and he did the same to each one. Letting Danarth eat the guts and other things the little dragon might not want.
He had the wherries ready and everything set up just as the time came to wake the weyrlings. He turned to Danrarth and nodded.
The brown bugaled and sent a message to the baby dragons. Come on you sleepy pokes!! Wake your riders up and tell them theirs food out in the weyrbowl!!!
A grin broke out accros V'nar's face. Another set of new weyrlings, another group of young riders to train.

((if i wasn't supposed to do this, please let me know!)) Sara groggly sat up, hearing a bugle from a dragon. She shook the sleep out of her eyes and pulled back the thin fur. She could see that Morith was still asleep. She pulled on her soft hide boots and went over to the still asleep dragon. 'Time to get up.' She mind spoke to the blue. Nothing. She tried again. 'Wake up, we have to leave.' Still nothing. She narrowed her eyes and smiled to herself. 'The weyr's being attacked!' A snort was all she got. She rubbed the back of her head and sighed. 'Fine, i'll go to breakfast and training myself.' She stood and plled on a jacket since it was slightly chilly outside. 'Food? huh? Where are you going?' Asked the now awake blue. sweatdrop 'Come on, you'll miss breakfast.' Sara said watching as the blue got up and walked with her to the bowl. ______________________________________________________ Bri'k woke up to something completely different. A scaly nose was poking him in the side. He rolled over and met the bright eyes of a wide-awake(and hungry) dragon. 'Come! Get up!' The green insisted. Bri'k mumbled something and sat up, causing two happily sleeping flits, to fall to the end of the bed. They screeched at being rudely awakened, and glared over at Bri'k and Camith, before going back to sleep. 'Come! Come! I'm hungry! ' Camith said waddling over to the door. Bri'k nodded, 'Alright alright, let's go.' The new rider said as he pulled on his shirt and boots. He followed Camith out into the bowl.

Dmine, time to get up! Big Brown says it's time to get up! Food is in the weyrbowl! He moved off of D'lan and made him enough room to get up.
The weyrling sat up, memories rushing into his mind. Oh. Oh! Reith was his bonded! Looking at the tiny dragon next to him, the full relization of what had happened to him hit the bronzerider. "Oh, by the first egg!" He said, in awe.
Rushing to get dressed, D'lan supposed that he was in shock. Oh, well. Following Rei turned out to be a bad idea, however. Turning the wrong way several times confused D'lan, but in the end they got to the point where he could find his way, which he did.
Rushing into the bowl, D'lan saw that only two others were there, plus the Weyrlingmaster, of course. A female bluerider and a male greenrider? Well, unexpected, but it had happened many times before. Nodding to the two by way of greeting, he approched the Weyrlingmaster.
"Good morning, sir." He said, before going to the the other two, as he didn't really know what to do yet. After all, he was just a weyrling and a new one, at that.
Hello! Said the spunky bronze to the green and blue. I'm Reith, who are you? A green and a blue, but you have names, too?
((He's such a little poet.
And he didn't even know it! *ba-dum-dum*
-cough- Sorry about that.))

aww...thats so cute. no prob on the poet thing))
Morith cocked his small head to the side. He walked over to the two new dragons, a green and bronze. He listened as the bronze introduced himself. 'Hello, I'm Morith. ' Sara watched as Morith moved to meet the other dragonets. She smiled and looked at the other weyrlings. There were two boys and she was the only girl so far. She walked over to D'lan and said, " My name's Sara, Whats yours?" She asked. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Camith looked between the two male dragons. She felt fairly small compared to them. 'You may be smaller, but smaller's sometimes better...' Br'ck's voice told her. She saw him smiling at her. She turned back to the bronze and blue. 'My name's Camith.' She said witha shy voice. Br'ck walked towards the other two weyrlings. "Hi!" He out his hand to either of them. "I'm Brick...Oops..I mean Br'ck." He said with a smile.

Shaking Br'ck's hand, he smiled. "Nice to meet you, Br'ck, Sara." She looked at his bronze. "I'm still getting used to it, too. It's D'lan, now, though."
Nice to meet you, Camith! Noticing that the smaller green sounded shyer, the bronze recognized her, first. Sniffing the emerald-hued muzzle, he greeted the blue. Hullo. So, Sara is your mine? Dmine is mine. And... Br'ck, right, Cam?
Smiling at the trio of dragonettes, he glanced at the other newly-minted riders. "So, what are we supposed to do while the others get here?" He asked, a bit confusedly.

Ailene here the bugle of the brown, and was wondering what that has all about when Lith woke up. She could feel her waking, which was a marvel expreicence for Ailene. She was just wondering if it was always going to feel like this when Lith spoke up, We're supposed to meet for classes now. And I'm hungry.
We'll get you something. I promise. Ailene set into a jog towards the barracks to pick Lith up, and then head towards where the lessons were going to be held. Lith now along side her.

Faris got up at the dragon's bellow and looked over at Granith. Come on. Your probably hungry. She ran a finger through her black glossy hair and rubbed the slep out of her slanted, almon shaped eyes. Faris got up and walked out the door, Graneth behind her. She walked out into the weyrbowl. Her green folowing her. She walked up and stopped when she was exactly between the the other new riders and the man with bright red/purple hair. She nelt next to Graneth and began to scratch the little one where her wings ment to her back.
How'd'you know I itched there?? Are you okay...? Everything will be fine. The little green said, eyes on her rider.
Faris continued to scratch, her loose hair hidding the bruses and cuts that haddn't healed yet. They hurt, the healing wounds, and that was somthing new. It was a different hurt then she was used to, and it made her worry. I'll ask Ailene about it...when she gets here. Faris looked around for the girl, not seeing her.

T'nal quickly ran towards the area where the weyrling lessons were being held. "Come on Dalanth, or we'll be late." He called out beathlessly.
I'm coming. The brown responded, keeping up with his rider.

Ailene came up on the lessons, glad that she had remembered to change her tunic before going to find Theia, otherwise she wouldn't have had the chance. Life just seemed so fast right now. She saw Faris as she came apon the group, and moved toward her with a smile. Come on, Lith, Let's go meet some other weyrlings.

((Remember 'Nic, this is an OOT thread.))
Garneth saw someone new arrive. Is that her?
Faris turned around and saw Ailene come up behind her. She smiled, relief flodding through her. She saw the gold the girl had Impressed and her mouth opened. Se's beautifull...
And I'm not?! Graneth's voice broke through the spell the gold has cast, glinting in the sun.
Faris smiled and hugged her green. You are, don't worry.

Leading the bronze to the meat table, D'lan pulled one of the buckets over. "Here, Rei." D'lan lowered the bucket to a level where Reith could reach it.
Yum! Little Reith said, happily plunging his head into the food. Food, food, food. Lifting his head, Reith crooned to him rider. He was starving.

Jyourin ran across the bowl. In her hurry she had forgotten to wear her long sleeved undershirt and so her bare arms revealed a collection of welts and bruises that made her skin look like a feline's hide. Shards, ever since I don't have a cook whacking me awake every morning I've overslept.
It's not so bad, you needed rest. I'm sure the Weyrlingmaster will understand, Gantenth warbled as he scurried to keep up with his rider.
Jyourin frowned. Don't count on it.
