Yeah, Placebo only have cameo roles in the movie, but does anyone like Velvet Goldmine? It's one of my favorites and very pretty overall. 3nodding

I've never seen it, but I read that Christian Bale and Ewan McGreggor have a sex scene in it.

I absolutely adore Velvet Goldmine. What a good movie. Though very long. Jack Fairy is my favorite.

I hope you're right and it's worth watching because I'm gonna download it. 3nodding It's probably only really good if you like glam rock and Oscar Wilde quite a bit.

Oh I love Wilde too and there are plenty of referances and quotes and everything, but the whole point of the movie is glam rock so...yeah. If that's not really your thing then you might not like it much. You might though. I don't know.

Yes aucutally I just re-watched it yesterday. It was really just confusing to me the first time I watched it the second time I was like "Ohhh"
I liked it alot, and I love glam rock and Oscar Wilde. Right now I'm reading 'the happy prince and other tales' by him. I love it when Placebo sings Bitter Sweet in german. They loaded Brian in glitter eyeshadow though. And I think it's a movie you ethier love or hate.

I like The Nightingale and the Rose. Yeah that was a good story. I just finished the book. Wow he's so brilliant I don't think I can choose a favoriate. I was surprised at how someone died in every story, which ofcourse made me love it more.

I've tried to watch Velvet Goldmine like 4 times and I've never been able to stay awake all the way through it... this girl Faith kept talking about how "Placebo's in it, Placebo's in it!" so I was disappointed when there wasn't more of them in it XP
