It's story time, kiddies! xd ! Yes, I thought it'd be cool if we all posted a small little story of how you guys got Star Ocean: Till the End of Time! Did you recieve it on your birthday? Did you have to go through crazy events to buy it? SPILL THE DETAILS! whee heart
Why?
...Cause...I'm sure we'd all want to know, right? wink
Here's how I got the Awesomeness that is Star Ocean: If you guys didn't know already, I recieved SO3 on my birthday from my older brother. So, while eating some Chinese food for dinner with my four bestest friends in the whole wide universe, my brother comes home and I greet him with a huge tackle. He shoves a yellow Best Buy bag into my hands and screams "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and I look in the bag and saw that it was some DVD and I began to go crazy. Then my brother dragged me to the garage and told me, "Look, do you see anything here?".
At first, I went "Uh....wha?" and began to frantically search the garage with my eyes (my brother was holding me back..so I couldn't search the garage by walking). Then...I spotted something shiny ontop of one of the old speakers that was kept in the garage. I stared at it for a minute or so and ran towards it (after biting my brother's hand to let go of me xd !!). A fangirly scream was heard from the garage and my friends rushed out of their dinner table seats and crowded at the door to see what happened. I screamed, holding the beautiful shiny game in my hands, "MY BROTHER BOUGHT ME STAR OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" With that, I hugged my brother once again while my friends huddled around the game (after they snatched it from my hands to see it).
And so there you have it! That was how I got SO3 3nodding blaugh heart
Now...let me hear your story! ^^

Haha, mine wasn't quite that exciting; in fact it was pretty boring. sweatdrop
A while before it came out I saw a little ad for it in my FF X-2 Booklet (I think). I thought, hey that game looks cool, I should look into it more. So I went online, found some pictures for it, read a little about it, then eventually forgot about it for a while. Some time later, it came out and I remembered about it, and I was still somewhat interested in the game, so I looked for it, but couldn't find it anywhere. Then, I found out my sister's friend had the game, and had already beaten it, and I asked him if I could borrow it, which I did. I started playing it, and got completely hooked, and I still have his copy, but I'm planning on buying my own whenever he wants it back. And that's my exciting (not) story of SO3. xd

Mine's okay. biggrin
I saw a commercial on TV for it and was like... eek That looks so fun! I must have it. I was ridiculed by my sister, who is in fact a Star Ocean fanatic and the second-in-command of this guild. I didn't get it of course. But then, I got fifty dollars from my grandparents for Christmas and we had gotten a computer, so my dad wanted to go to Circuit City to get some special plug thing. I love going there, so I went with him. And I'd never actually seen Star Ocean in a store, so I saw that they had one copy left, and I had just enough money to buy it. That was an awesome day. *sigh*

Thank you Chaos, for having odd interests! heart xd heart

Mine's is pretty boring too. A little while back, i saw a picture of it in my FFX-2 booklet, and i even remember telling myself i'll get that game. So, when I see a comerical for it, i tell my mom immediatley, I WANT THAT GAME!! IT LOOKS SO COOL!!! Not too long after that, i'm in the car and my dad calls me and says that i can buy the game i wanted. i sat thinking for what game i wanted.... then i remembered SO3. So, when i see it in the game store, it was in a box.... i got confused, but bought it anyway. AND i even got a deal if i bought the guidebook with it. (so that's how i got the guidebook) and i can't remember if the guidebook got the deal or the game xd before i knew Fayt's name, i secretly called him "cute boy" then i saw his name in the guidebook. but even after that, is still called him cuteboy. One more thing.. when i first saw Albel's pic in the guidebook. I thought he was a woman!! *hides from Albel fans* But i could've SWORN it said female, then i took a closer look and it said Male.... I couldn't stop laughing! Poor Albel.... Well, that's my story! Strange.. huh? i'm surprised i evne remembered it.. considering i got it in early september...

I was hanging out with my friend in our small town and visitng all the shops we have here and I couldn't help but follow my urge to visit the game store! So we went in and I scanned the games, I was hoping to find at least a used version of FF7 or FF8... until BEHOLD! There in front of me, I saw Star Ocean: TTEOT! I took up the box in my hands and gently touched it's glossy surface.... (omg, I'm such a loser. xp enough with the crap xd ). Anyway, my friend, who happens to be a BIG fan of Inuyasha, found the game Inuyasha. I heard that Inuyasha was good even though I know it's SO over-rated, but I looked at it anyway. Then I spent the next five minutes trying to decide. We went from reviews, to chose a hand and even to rock-paper-scissors! But somehow, Inuyasha always won..... but in the end, I chose Star Ocean! I took out money I had just put in, sweat and blood from working and bought it! And never have I felt so happy!
Just for note, I did buy the Inuyasha game but boy, was THAT a dissapointment! stare good thing I went with my gut instinct.
