This is were Lyr and Gold Byraneth spend what little free time they have. It isn't richly decorated. Just comfertable. There is a long table with charts, history's and blank hides on it. The bed is covered with many furs and pillows. The eating table is clean, and the book shelves full. At the foot of the bed is a trunk with some of Lyr's favorite things in it.

Name:: Lyr'sa, goes by Lyr

Gender:: female

Age:: 20

Appearance:: 5'9", she is long and lengthy. Lyrasa has a strong body, both physically and mentally. Her hair, brown flecked with gold, reaches her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a yellow/gold. She has a scar that goes from her left temple and along her cheekbone; it stops about an inch from her nose. She says she received the scar as she fought for her life against a wild animal a few years ago.

Personality:: Lyrasa has a quick temper, though she tries to control it. She is proud and headstrong, she is extremely loyal to the few friends she has. She has a fighting spirit and will never give up. She is outgoing and hates it when people judge before they know everything. Her parent?s death set her in depression for she was close to both of them. She is pulling out of it, but is still not completely stable in her trust of herself. She loves to have fun and will enjoy a night of games and fun and Harper stories. He mom taught her in the arts of healing so she tries to be useful. One of her greatest fears is to not be wanted or to stop being useful. She thinks in interesting ways and sees things differently then others. That is why she is a good person to ask for help in a fix.

History/Bio:: She is a loner, a wanderer, and solitary. Her mother and father died in rockslide 7 years ago. Sheltered by strangers and distant relatives she survived. Recently she left to wander alone. She originally lived near Ista Hold, but when her parents died she was shipped to relatives all over Pern so she had been around all of Pern. She ran away and came to Fort Weyr. Where she impressed Byraneth, her beautiful queen. She was amazed at her luck. She was teased there because she was sligtly immature and becasue Byraneth loved to race. He was only accepted by the Blue and Green riders and has a great deal of respect for them. Fort became too crowded, so she was recently transfered to Xavren Weyr.

Dragon Personality:: Is the calm side to Lyr'sa's wild one. She has a cool head in nasty situations and is very mature. She will protect her rider with and intensity very like that of a protective mother. She loves her rider very much, even though she still doesn't understand all the things that go on inside Lyr'sa's head. Is like a mother to many of the other dragons. Though she is a queen, she still loves to race and have fun. She can be wild every once ins a while, but take her job as junior queen very seriously.

L'gan finally made it up to Lyr's weyr and quietly entered. He gently placed her on her bed and planted a soft, chaste kiss on her forehead. "Good night, Lyr." He whispered before turning to leave.

Just as he closed Lyr's door behind him, L'gan began to feel the wine's effects on him. He sat down next to her door to give himself a few moments to collect himself, but as soon as he got comfortable his eyes drooped and he fell asleep.

L'gan began to wake up as the queen's voice echoed into his head. I'm awake. What do you mean 'won't wake up'? She's not dead! He bespoke Byraneth as he jumped to his feet and lept into Lyr's weyr.

He rushed over to Lyr's sleeping form and grabbed her by the shoulders and proceeded to shake her.

L'gan nodded as he wrapped Lyr up in extra furs. He swept some stray hairs out of her face before he turned to leave. "I'll be back. I'm going to check on Ty." He whispered before he left her for the door.
