(( Sure! See you later then Kazu. ))
Minutes ago it had been announced, a miracle drug, claiming to be a cure. And of course Erik had witnessed the entire press conference from the comfortable security of the lair. It really wasn't that unexpected of them, the humans, a bit early, maybe, but certainly forthcoming.
After a moment of silent deliberation and, doing his very best to keep his temper under check, the television promptly exploded and shards of the set were sent flying into the far back wall. Ah, thank goodness for metal circuiting.
He didn't even want to think about it; they claimed it wasn't going to be forced! Ha. At first, perhaps, but like all good promises crumbled, they'd be in chains one-by-one with the humans, oh so merciful as they claimed, shoving needles up their arms.
Often he wondered, why not many saw things quite the way he did, see the horrors of the future as bright; it all made logical sense-- to him. But, perhaps, that was all for the best. He had his brothers and they'd bring salvation to all mutants-- whether they wanted it, he added, or not.
"A cure!" Erik had to refrain from laughing sardonically at that. "A cure for what?" He asked himself, tone laced with a certain starchy annoyance. My my, was he ever making quite a ruckus. But soon Mystique would be back from reconnaissance and he'd certainly then have someone to rant with.

"Fools"
This was all Mystique had to say as she stepped out of the Brotherhood's large black chopper. Her eyes flashes a violent yellow, and her blood boiled in her veins, which was a major understatement to the way she truly felt. She felt, simply, that she would like nothing more than to wreak havoc, break something, or even just have someone to b***h to.
Mystique's blood red hair, normally slicked back, was violently ruffled today. The stress over the mortal's newest development....a "cure" as it were, seemed to get under her skin.
A voice in the back of her head reminded her to control her temper, but ignoring that voice was what had gotten her such a high place in Magneto's regard. She took a deep breath and put on her most seductive smile as she strode into the Brotherhood's hideout, winking at the surveillance camera as she passed it; with her luck, Erik was watching it.
Surely he would want to converse over this new development.

John was sitting quietly in a plain room, focusing on his sharky zippo. The day had been pretty boring and the two 'adults' if you could call them that, were nowhere to be found.
In his hand sat a small flame ball, an open zippo on the table next to him. He was currently spending his time making shapes out of the flame. A rose, much like the one ice cube had made that day the Rogue had appeared at Xaviers. The next shape, a dancing girl. A smirk placed itself upon John's lips.
The flame soon disintegrated into nothing as an explosion knocked John out of his firey daze. He quickly grabbed his zippo and stood up. running out of the room and into the hallway, towards the source of the explosion. He slowed to a walk as leftover bits of the television crackled under his shoes. "Hey... er, Magneto? What... just happened?" He asked, uncertainty and curiosity lacing his words as he walked into the room to face Erik.

Mystique heard an explosive noise coming from around the corner, and barely got out of the way as Erik's newest recruit, Pyro he called himself, rushed past her without so much as an acknowledging glance. She rolled her catlike eyes, the boy had so much to learn.
Picking up next to no speed, Mystique turned the corner and walked into Magneto's private quarters. Bits and pieces of plastic, glass, and wire were scattered everywhere; a charred circle was all that remained in the spot where a TV had once been.
Mimicking the teen's actions, she walked right past Pyro; ignoring him completely, and instead turning her attention to her mentor.
"So, I take it you've heard the news."

At the familiar voice, Erik cooled down his fit and tried to keep his words, with some marked difficulty, level. His fingers fumbled to straighten the collar of his coat with a huff, "Yes, just now."
Agitated, he rubbed his temples with the tips of his hand and regarded Mystique with a soft shake of the head. "Remarkable isn't it?"
And almost as an afterthought, he threw Pyro the remote to the shattered television, "And you haven't heard?" He looked over to Mystique with a roll of the eyes and a quaint little smirk, "You must watch more television." And he left it at that. Pyro was a smart kid, he'd figure it out.
(( Sorry it's so short. I had a super cool post and hit back and-- lost it. .____. Not cool. ))

((ugh, I hate when that happens... actually it doesn't anymore. with Mozilla Firefox, you can hit back, then foreward... and it saves everything you did. <3 ))
John looked from Magneto to Mystique, something was going on and nobody would tell him? This was frusterating, at least back at Xaviers-
His thoughts stopped at the name, that was definitely not something he should, or would think about anymore. He quickly raised his free hand and caught the remote to the busted television "a lot of good this is going to do me now!" He said as he tossed it behind his shoulder and turned to Mystique.
"Are you going to tell me what happened, or am I set on a wild goose chase now?" Those were definitely something he liked to put on his 'to-do list'. He clicked his lighter open and shut as he looked from where Magneto had left, and then back to Mystique, waiting for an answer and thinking of where else he cound find it if she refused him, now that the tv was gone.

((damn dude that sucks.))
"Remarkable? Disgraceful seems a more befitting description." Mystique could hear Magneto struggling to control his own temper; luckily he knew it wasn't in her personality to do the same. She could fully express her outrage on this topic.
"What self-respecting mutant would subject themselves to such a rediculous concept? We are the future, it is the humans that we need a cure for." And with that, Mystique took a seat in the chair to the left of Erik's, leaving only the floor for Pyro to sit on; after all, he was new, and as so needed to understand the meaning of respect for his elders.
Mystique eyed the child. She wasn't yet sure how she felt about him, but she was positive that she thought him too cocky for his own good; a trait she was sure would only get him into trouble.
When Erik tossed the remote of the shattered TV to John, Mystique could only grin. It seemed that Erik's age was catching up to him.
The boy said something along the lines of "Tell me what I want to know", and Mystique surely wasn't going to explain if he was going to be so arrogant.

Raising an eyebrow, John thought about what Mystique had just said. 'A cure, there's no way anyone's going to go for that' he thought, before voicing his opinion.
"There's no way anybody's going to go for 'a cure', I mean... unless it was a forced cure to get rid of the mutants..." he paused "I wonder how long it will take to get to that point," He thought out loud as he shrugged as moved some of the pieces of tv around with his foot before moving back to walk through the hallway.
"Thanks for the info Mystique." He spoke briefly before heading back to his room, he needed to get a tv for his own room.
((ugh, I went cause Kazu did. >.> Alright, now the order's in play? XD lol *flails around* so confused))

(( Rush post. Sorry guys, I've got to split for now. D; Got work to do and stuff. But I should be back at around 7 for the rest of the night. ))
"That may be, my dear." He said to Mystique, voice light as he thought, "However with us unfortunately," and he placed heavy emphasis on this, "in the minority, we'll need something big."
And that alone was a gross understatement. "Big enough to get everyone's attention." Because really it was an injustice, what was going on. Mutants taking upon themselves that... grotsque sort of treatment just to be one of them.
EDIT: -flails as well, equally confused- I guess the order's in place now then. xD
