Pro tip #1

We all had problems with event monsters before or for new people you have not (yet). This tip will help you turn the tables against them ^^

Well, if you mastered your prayer skill up to level 37 (protect from magic) you can fight evil chickens without a problem.

And for the event monsters that attack with brute force (melee), it shouldn't be a problem if your prayer is at level 43 (protect from melee).

This would increase the chances to win and consume less food to fight them.

Warning!!!

Do not try this in the wild as these prayer skills are limited to only a 50% bouns protection (to make it fair for other players).

Pro tip #2

NEVER fight battles you can't win... sweatdrop

People say "noob" or "wuss" because you ran away, but they're wrong. It's really smart to run from a losing battle because.....

1.) You don't lose valuable items.

2.) It tells you that you need more training or a plan to fight the same enemy.

3.) It shows that you're playing it safe and that you're not careless.

Note: It's okay to try to stay and fight if you're really prepared to lose something you need or if you have nothing with you that will be lost.

Pro tip #3

DON'T BE A MOUCHER!!!!

If you depend too much on your friends to get things for you (like big bones or smith high level stuff), they would get really pissed off and annoyed because...

1.) They need the stuff too, but you're taking it from them!

2.) Stuff like Mithril and Adamant gets annoying to make after a while with the hassle to get coal and the ore itself.

3.) You're not doing anything to help yourself become better so that you can stop asking them soo much in the first place!

Note: This is also important for people who wants to keep their friends.

Pro tip #4

EVERY weapon has an advantage and disadvantage. 3nodding

Like if I was to compare Scimmitars and Long Swords (from what I know).

-------------------------------------------------------------

Scimmitars:

Pros: Good attack speed, high slash bonus points.

Cons: Poor at stabbing

-------------------------------------------------------------

Long Swords:

Pros: Rough-housing slashes, great for stabbing

Cons: Modderate attack speed

-------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Although there's a disadvantage in your favorite weapon, if you're adapted to it, then it's not much of a problem. 3nodding

Pro tip #5

Salvaging (or "pking" as they call it) may seems like stealing but it's not.

If you see a user die and drops items, it's okay to take it because...

* Everyone is responsable for how they handle their items. If they lose it from dying, then it's not theirs anymore. That is called the "free-for-all" rule (as I would call it).

* The "free-for-all" rule states that once the item is dropped, there's no "claim" to it so it's free to anyone that sees it.

* Although it seems like stealing and the user that saw you take the stuff harrasses you about it..

1.) You didn't steal because the user that died and dropped the items lost "claim" to them so the item is free for grabs in the first place!

2.) It's the users fault for not being careful. But it's okay to give it back if you know that person (like a friend, brother, or sister).

Warning!!!

"Pking" in the wild is very risky! Although is rewarding, remember that if you die, you lose whatever you found so don't push your luck!

Note: To make things easier to safely get out of the wild with the stuff you "pked", have a few runes for a teleportaion spell so that you won't get jumped trying to run..... sweatdrop

Pro Tip #6

It's okay to ask for help.

It's alright to ask for help, just make sure that you're asking about something you've not seen before or never done before and that it's not on a guide anywhere else (like the knowledge base) first! People get annoyed by people who don't read updates or the knowledge base first before asking questions. No one likes to be asked questions when they are busy. And if the person is like me they might get a migrane when asked too many questions and then get irritable..Please be considerate ^_^

1) Ask only after you have checked RuneScapes Knowledge Base or other site's guides.
2) Please be considerate of those you are asking..If they say they don't know or can't help right now..DON'T BUG THEM.
3) Ask for help in moderation..Don't over ask friends questions maybe sometime they might not want to help you anymore because you asked them too much.
4) Maybe someone else has that question? Why not check the forums of RS for that same question? Even F2p people can look at the forums, though they can't post they can still search for the question.

Note: Just be nice when you ask questions and if they don't answer..Don't pester them or call them names maybe they are AFK or busy?

Pro Tip #7
Be careful!

Recovery Questions
Some people may ask you some questions about you, so be carefull what you answer.
But some may ask your recovery questions, ALWAYS make sure you know your recovery questions so you do not tell them to a hackhungry child.

Safe from hackers?
Be sure you are safe from hackers, not only with Anti-Spyware... But with a pin for your bank, people find that this is on of the greatest thing to put hackers off. Also try and make a hard password that you can remember.

NEVER give your Email address to anyone
Unfortunately, this is how I got hacked.
I came off better than the hacker did.
So just.... Don't give it out.

Note: Never Ever say a webaddress on runescape, No matter what it is. Do not even say part of it such as things like "Swiftswitch" "Gaia" or any other MMORPGs/Games. As there are plenty of Mod wannabes around.

Be safe, and know who you're with.

Pro Tip #8

Want to become a moderator?

1. Reporting is not always the way. Are you trying to become a moderator in RuneScape? Well some people say reporting people for every little offence is the way. It is not! Just play the game in a friendly way, don't spam and be kind and helpfull to people. You will get recognized sooner or later. You'll feel good about it too.
