The northern edge of Jahazi is one of steep, rocky cliffs and crashing waves. This place is treacherous for all but the most sure-footed, sure to break the bones of any who find themselves toppling over the cliff edge by means of sudden wind, a slip on the surfaces wet from the sea's spray, or simply thanks to overconfidence. The line of trees that comes close to the precipice comes from the south, where the central forest is. Following the coast to the west will take an explorer all the way down the northern edge of the island to its furthest point west, a group of taller rocks where a small ranger station has been raised. From these cliffs, the ranger tower is but a speck.
