In a fantasy land not unlike our own, there were four kingdoms that reinged supreme: The Monster kingdom, filled with horrendous fiends, the Holy kingdom, populated by peaceful holymen and women, the Thief kingdom, brimming with lawless rouges, and, lastly, the Tribal kingdom, a kingdom that is run and populated by tribal peoples. They have always been fighting for the land, and have decimated many plains, obliterated many forests, and fouled many rivers. This war, continues to rage on, and that is where our story begins...
For future reference, the ranking system of the thief kingdom army in order:
Head Gaurd/ Army General: black boots Royal Magician (male/female): purple boots Members of royal gaurd: Red boots Minor Magicians: yellow boots Soldiers: Green boots
PM me your profiles and I will put them in here. Fell free to have as many charcters as you want, there are a lot of spots to fill!
Parts, who they are played by, and the character profiles:
Monster Kingdom: King: Drama_Dude Name: Ichabod the Pumpkin King Age: unknown Description: Clothed in all black, with a black cloak that has pumpkin clasps, black boots, pants, ruffled shirt, and black gloves. His most distinguishing feature is that he has no head, and instead has an enchanted, flaming pumpkin with a wicked grin perched ontop of his cetnturies old neck. Although the pumpking alows him to talk, he is rather silent. Carries a scepter with a pumpkin atop of it while not in battle. Weapons: A huge black spear with a pumpkin at the bottom that has vines sprouting from it which encircle the formidable weapon all the way to its usually blood-stained tip. Also has minor magic capabilities. Pesonality: Isn't exactly the brightest of the bunch, but he is no dummy either. He is an absouloute monster in battle, showing no mercy and bruttally slautering his opponents. He is the silent type, and spends his spare time sitting upon his twisted black throne with his flaming eyes staring off into the sky. Other: Is a skilled horse rider, and has a pure pitch black war stallion that shares a symbolic bond with Ichabod.
Queen:vacant Prince:vacant Princess: fantasynerd Name: Anastasia De'Lavictoria the Spider Bride Age: Looks about 16-18 Description: She is very tall and slender, almost stick-like, has ghostly pure white skin, jet black hair so long it trails behind her on the floor, and deep black eyes. Her fine lips are painted black and there are dark rings of eyeshadow around her eyes. Clothing: She wears a rather ragged-looking white silk dress which trails on the ground along with her hair. The dress has frills of fraying lace towards the bottom, and a huge ring of spiderweb around the collar. She also wears long velvet black gloves up to her shoulder, black glass heels, and a black cordial with a blood-red liquid inside it around her neck. Weapons: The cordial contains a deadly poison, but she can also use two black daggers she conceals under her dress. Pesonality: She is an evil little girl, vile and merciless down to the bone. She is cunning and intelligent and uses her authority to get what she wants. She spends alot of time sitting in the gothic library reading ancient volumes of books. She can be polite and elegant at times, but only to fool her victim into trusting her. Other: Fearful of loosing her power to a man, she detests the day she will be forced to marry. Because of this, she has developed a general malice for any man, excluding her father. In fact, she is quite a daddy's girl.
Royal Sorcerer: Neri of Tinros Name: Culnartur Age: 19 M Description: He has red on black eyes (like Gambit) and pale skin, slightly tinted red. His hair is red, short, and sticks up in a messy way. He is slim and very slightly muscular. Sometimes his dragon wings come out of his back like an angel?s would. His face is kind of feminine, giving him a pretty look. (If you don?t understand, ask me.) When he turns into a dragon, he is the size of a large horse. His scales glisten like rubies and his eyes are the same as when he is in human form. Clothing: He wears a red pirate-looking shirt, red pants, and black boots. He also wears a long black jacket that reaches to the ground (robes?). It has two holes in the back for whenever his wings are out. Weapons: His magic is all he needs. Bio: Culnartur started out as a nobody, but when word got out he could shape shift into a dragon, he was quickly accepted as a minor sorcerer. After being a great help in a few battles with his magic, he became the royal sorcerer. He is best with fire magic and pretty good with wind magic. He has no idea if his true form is dragon or human. Cul is one of the king?s most trusted men.
Royal Sorceress:vacant Minor Sorcerers/Sorceresses (unlimited): Head Gaurd/Army General:vacant Gaurd 1: Drama_Dude Name: Spectre Age: 17 Description: He is composed entirely out of dark blue-black, dark-blue, and indigo shadow, and, as he is a shapeshifter, can take virtually any form he wants. But he is usually in the form of a teenager who looks basically human except for small horns sprouting out from his short, messy hair and a tail with a triangular tip on it (like Nightcrawler's tail). Has pure white eyes and glistening white fangs. Wears a small, purple vest that goes just past his chest vest and black knee length shorts that are torn up at the ends. His clothes are part of him and he shape shifted so that he is wearing them. Has a high pitched drawling voice and a cackling laugh. Weapons: None but himself and the power to shapeshift into any form he chooses. He utilizes this ability by elongating his arms and tail, making himself huge and engulfing his opponent in shadow, turning his arms and legs into things such as whips, clubs, daggers etc., and finnaly pretending to be either meek, pitiful, lost little children or seductive females to lure unsespecting victims. Pesonality: Rather obnoxious and immature, is very talkative and energetic. Was usually looked down upon by the more serious soldiers who thought he didn't realize how bad war was and that he shouldn't be in the army and that he should stop joking around. But he, like Ichabod and other great monster warriors, that war was very good. But unlike others, he actually pratically viewed war as playtime for himself and quite often would break into a mad cackle of glee in the middle of a battle. Other: Is the one Ichabod selected to be second-in-command. Has a crush of the princess, and was overjoyed when the king selected him to be second in command. Loves to humiliate anyone he outranks. Has no father of mother, and was born from the shadows and was found wandering around a cave in th forest by Ichabod, who was still a prince at the time.
Gaurd 2:vacant Gaurd 3:vacant Soldiers (umlimited):vacant

The dresses are the highest in fashion and extremely expensive. Whenever she is appearing before court of her kingdom, she wears a crown similair to the one of England. She also wears a lot of jewelry to show off her status. Bio: She doesn't care for war. She is actually more for peace and prosperity throughout the kingdom. She is of average intelligence and is good with dealing with people. She isn't the best at war tactics and politics, so she has help from a special group of advisors

She doesn't like them very much though for they are rather uncomfortable. She wears a jade necklace, a gold ring on her right index finger, large, gold hoop earings, and a silver gaunlet on her left wrist. When not unless she has too, she likes to wear simple cotton dresses with floral designs inprinted on them. She also likes to wear large brimmed hats with a large, pretty bow in it. Bio: She is more quiet than talkitive, but is social enough to be likeable by the people who serve her and the peasants. Most nobles are trying to marry her or envy her for her striking beauty. He also wears the uniform of a royal guard. (A white shirt under a dark blue tunic, tan breeches, knee-length dark blue socks, and dark brown boots.) He likes his job, but would rather major in the feild of orthinology, which is his hobby. He trains other guards, horses, and birds such as falcons and hawks. He owns a falcon named Vinh and a dark brown war horse named Erik. He is the princess' personal guard and is good friends with her and the queen. He is social and friendly and smiles a lot.
Gaurd 2:vacant Gaurd 3:vacant Soldiers (umlimited):
Thief kingdom: King:vacant Queen:vacant Prince: Neri of Tinros Name: Daeheru Age: 18 Description: He has light purple eyes and lightly tanned skin. His hair is short, black, and often messy since his sister likes to tousle it. He is slim but muscular because of his training. Clothing: Everything he wears is tight so nothing loose can get caught on things. He wears black knee-high, lace-up boots, black pants he tucks into the boots, and a black shirt. He also has a silver ring with a round amethyst jewel on it; the only sign he?s royalty. Weapons: None but a dagger he keeps in the side of his boot and uses rarely. Bio: The twin of Dulintari; both are best friends, feisty, almost carefree, and absolutely love playing tricks on people. They are possibly the best thieves in their kingdom. To prove themselves, they once had to steal the rings off their parents. Even though the king and queen were expecting it, they didn?t notice when the twin pickpockets took the jewelry. Both parents were very proud of their children. Neither Daeheru nor Dulintari care much about the war, and take very little part in it. Instead they travel about the other kingdoms in secret, stealing whatever catches their eyes. They are very good at pickpocket sleight-of-hand and have fun stealing from right under someone?s nose without anyone noticing.
Princess: Neri of Tinros Name: Dulintari Age: 18 Description: She has light purple eyes and lightly tanned skin. Her hair is straight, black, and goes to the middle of her back. She is slender and muscular because of training, yet still has good curves. Clothing: Everything she wears is tight so nothing loose can get caught on things. She wears black knee-high, lace-up boots, black pants she tucks into the boots, and a black shirt. She also has a silver ring with a round amethyst jewel on it; the only sign she?s royalty. Weapons: None but a dagger she keeps in the side of her boot and uses rarely. Bio: The twin of Daeheru; both are best friends, feisty, almost carefree, and absolutely love playing tricks on people. Royal Magician (male):vacant Royal Magician (female):vacant Minor Magicians (unlimited): Head Gaurd/Army General: Drama_Dude Name: Dantrell Ferlin Age: 18 M Description: He is dressed all in red, has a rather handsome face, but always conceals under a pointed hood attached to his robe tat only shows his thin lips and five-o-clock shadow across his finely refined jaw line, and along with his sashes, scarves, and other robes pratically conceal him entirely. But underneath it all he wears a simple shirt and pants tucked into black boots. In the Thief kingdom, the color of your boots designate your rank, with black being the heighest. Weapons: He mainly uses his hands and feet, which allowed him tio accell in the army due to his enourmously fast footwork and and blows when attacking. He is said to be the fastest on his feet, with his hands, and also the fastest reflexes in the entire thief kingdom. But he does have a fighting needle ring (which is basically a fighting needle, or small thin spike, on a ring that has a built in mechanism that causes the needles to spin without effort. Are worn so that the needles are nearest to your palm.) for each hand that he also uses frequently, but it is not the reason he is the highest non-royalty army rank in the kingdom. Personality: Extremely serious, he disicplines his soldiers rather harshly and shows utmost respect for his opponent in battle, but, as one of the unspoken rules of the kingdom, cheating in battle, or anything for that matter, is welcomed. So Dantrell may cheat like most of the thief kingdom, but he still respects his opponent and does not disgrace them

She is motherly, as she has innumerable children from several different men, and is a fair and devoted ruler. She believes in ancient spiritual wisdom, and demands that all of her people do the same. He proved to be such a good archer and fighter that he was promoted to the first gaurd.

Rain pelted down on the field, clouds rumbling above. Then, lightning flashed, illuminating the gruesome scene. The was a figure cloaked in black sitting slumped on a pure black stallion. The fiure was holding a horrid spear in his hand, blood of the dead soldiers surrounding him dripping from the point. Just then, the figure turned, showing his horrendous face. In fact, it wasn't a face at all. It was a jack-o-lantern, with flames spouting out of the eyes and the mouth. The figure reared his horse and sped across the battlefield, racing towards a looming forretress on the horizon.

Queen Marissa Lindrarusah of Betleguese II sighed and shook her worried head. She picked up a small mirrior, looked into it, and frowned even deeper. She could have sworn that she had just aquired a new wrinkle.
"Oh my," she told her image of herself. "We have just lost another battle with the Monster Kingdom. If this keeps up, we will have no Holy Kingdom left." She shook her head again.
Her daughter, Princess Anilahindari Cetcealieh von Spitzweg VII, sighed too and gazed longingly out the window. A lone dove flew across the pane and into the clouds above. "Sir Gerric," she called. "Please explain to me again why my mother won't let me go outside today. It's so beautiful." She sighed again and proped herself on her elbows. "I'm well old enough to take care of myself."
A man walked up and bowed courteously to the princess. "Princess Anilahindari Cetcealieh von Spitzweg VII, your mother is just looking out for you. We have just lost another battle and she is concerned about your safety. Please try to understand."
Princess Anilahindari turned and glowered at her personal guard. "Come on! Please! I wish to do something! Like... I don't know! Take care of horses or someting! Anything!"

Alone, beneath the high vaulted cieling of the cathedral-like library of Castello Monstruro, Princess Anastasia De'Lavictoria lounged on a velvety crimson chaise. In the candlelight, she stroked its velour with her long, spindly fingers.
The library was located deep within the castle. With walls made of black marble and pillars of finely carved blackwood, it looked more like a dungeon than a library. Ornate candleholders with dripping red candles hung on walls and sat on tables, casting flickering light on the many shelves of dusty, decaying books. The shelves themselves extended to the very roof of the library, disappearing into shadowy nothingness where the light couldn't reach. Tall, crooked ladders on rolling circuits were attatched in places to the shelves. Anastasia briefly debated climbing up to the top of one of the old ladders and throwing herself off of it, but decided against it. No, too much trouble, she thought arily. Thinking up creative and interesting suicide attempts was always one of her favorit past times.

Daeheru and Dulintari crept through the royal palace of the Holy Kingdom. There had to be some good jewels and such here, right? They came right outside the door to the princess's room, and paused.
"Dulin," Daeheru whispered to his sister, "What if someone's in there?"
"Umm... we'll improvise?" she whispered back. "Oh, don't worry Dae, we'll be in and out in no time at all. And we're quite good in the martial arts, or did you forget those fifteen years of training already?"
He rolled his eyes. "Okay, okay. I haven't forgotten. Let's go." He took out a little twig of metal and put it in the keyhole, quietly unlocking the door.
Together, they whispered, "One, two... three!" and slowly pushed open the door.

Ichaod rode up to his castle, dismounted his horse and stood in front of the drawbridge, waiting for it to open. Meanwhile, the stable boy, who was actually a devil fiend, took the kings horse and led it off to the stable. Then, the drawbridge slowly opened with a sickening creeking noise and fell to the ground with a thud. The Pumpking king walked over the rotting wood that had been strengthened by enchantments to be uncollapseble, and into the castle. He waved a hand at an ogre who was working the bridge, a signal to bring it up. The ogre did so, straining the large muscles in his overporportional arms to heave up the massive bridge on it's rusty hinges. Ichabod walked into the throne room, hung up his spear and obsidian chain mail he kept on for battleson the wall and took his scepter. He walked to the library and sa Anastasia sitting there. "There's my little girl," He said in a fatherly voice. Although he was usually cold-hearted, mean, and generally mosntrous and evil, he loved his daughter with all his heart.
Meanwhile, in the holy kingdom, a mysterious figure clothed in red dropped silently behind the thief twins. The man reached out and put a hand on both thier sholders, whispering in a deep voice, "Your parents sent me here to make sure you come of no harm. So go along and steal the things you wish, and I will be watching to help you lest you get caught." With that, the man jumped to the nearest pillar and quckly shinnyed up, dissappearing into the rafters. (If a character is not being played by anybody, you can indierctly control them, like I just did.)

The door swung open with a loud bang. The surprize made both Princess Anilahindari Cetcealieh von Spitzweg VII and Gerric jump. They both shot their eyes at the door and looked upon the prince and princess of the Thief Kingdom.
Gerric stepped out and branished his sword expertly. He frowned and questioned, "What brings you here? And do you not have the dignity to knock first before entering someone else's chambers?"
Princess Anilahindari Cetcealieh von Spitzweg VII straighted herself up for she was in the presence of other royal members as herself. She also quickly plastered on a straight face and acted like royalty. "Sir Conrad," she commanded in her authoritative tone, "you shall not brandish your weapon like that infront of guests from the Thief Kingdom."
Gerric frowned even deeper. "But they're theives your highness. They may be planning an assult on you." He continued to assertively watch Daeheru and Dulintari.

(Just to let you know, I will be using a character that has not yet been posted in the profiles. Please do not be alarmed. Also, I was wondering if anyone had their hearts set on being the tribal kingdom's army general, because I am in great need of him at this particular moment and I was hoping I could just sort of "borrow him". If someone else wants him they can have him back after this. If not, I'll go ahead and make a character.)

(okay, scratch that last post. Sorry everyone)
Mma Rafstwari napped on her great throne that was carved from a giant petrified tree. Her head rested on one of her broad shoulders and two identical naked infants nursed on both of her breasts.
Unlike most throne rooms, Mma Rafstwari's was constructed out of a spacious tent. In fact, the tribal kingdom was laid out in a circular pattern. On the outermost ring were located the farms, which were built up on high defensive levees. Within those were the small teepees of the poorest demographic; the farmers and hunters. Then came the more spacious huts of the artisans and servicemen, and after that the nicer bungalos that housed the merchants. And inside the village, protected by a ring of massive walls of timber 5 to 10 trees thick, was the palace. The queen and her husbands and offspring dwelled here, of course, along with the priests, shamans, servants, and gaurds.
The palace was built in such a way that the largest tent, located directly in the middle of the palace, was cornered by four smaller tents, and could be accessed by each. Beautiful gardens and pools were open to the public, as well as the queen's counsil.
The flap to Mma's throne room was pushed aside, and a man of authority entered, followed closely by a younger gaurd.
"Your highness," he announced in his native tongue.
Mma Rafstwari awoke with a snort. She had to blink a few times before she could recognize her visitor. "Ah, Diran 'ko, my trusted general and friend. What compells you to rob me of my rest?"
Diran 'ko prostrated himself before her throne, with his legs and arms folded beneath him and his forehead on the floor. The gaurd did the same. "I am sorry to disturb you, you highness." He said humbly, as if expecting punishment.
But Mma only let out a boisterous laugh, startling the infants and making one cry. "Diran 'ko, don't be such a fool!" she exclaimed, hushing the baby. "Get up from the floor and tell me what is so urgent."
Anastasia trotted over to her father and hugged him. "Daddy, you're home!" she cried, as if she were a three-year-old greeting her father when he comes home from work. "Did you slaughter those pesky Holy Kingdom troops like I asked you to?"

Right before the door opened, Dulintari whispered. "Dae, was that-"
"-Dantrell?" he completed. "Yes, I think so." Then it was open, and they were exposed.
"Uhh..." The twins glanced at each other as the princess and guard talked.
"A-assault?" Daeheru stammered as he tried to think up an excuse quick. "No, of course not! We were just..."
"Coming to make a treaty!" Dulin announced, surprising both herself and her brother for a split second, but they immediately recovered. "Yeah, we were coming to make an alliance between the Holy and Thief kingdoms, and..."
"Got lost," Dae finished. "Where is your mother or father? We would like to speak with them."
Both were thinking, I hope our parents don't mind... They'll understand our desperation of course, but they might not be happy about it...

Ichabod patted Anastasia De'Lavictoria on the back. "Of course, dear." He said with a hearty laugh. He crossed over to a bokshelf. "I believe it is time for your..." The king slipped out a old book that was set apart from the others because of it's absence of dust, clearly having been used often. He looked at the title of the book, written in what looked suspicously like blood, which was Methods of Poision by and the name of the atour was not there, instead there was a clump of sratch marks. "studies." Ichaod finished with a fiery grin. He walked over and sat the book on a dusty table, causing a few spiders top scatter. Then, he removed his head and sat it down on the table next to the book. Then, his body walked away, stalking down the hall. "Excuse me, dearest," said Ichabod's head to his daughter. "But that battle made my body quite exhausted, and it needs to rest. Only I will be present to help you in your lesson. Where did we leave off yesterday?"
Dantrell massaged his forhead as he looked down on the scene below. "Oh no," whispered the head gaurd to himself. "Now we have to deal with a aliiance to the holy kingdom. The king won't like this."

"Alliance?" asked Anilahindari. "If you seek an alliance with my kingdom, then take it up with me." She took on he royal tone and facial expression. "My mother, the queen, is busy with the war with the Monster Kingdom. I will take charge of this matter."
Gerric sheathed his sword and ushered the prince and princess into the room. He sat them down, closed the door, and stood, watching attentively. He didn't smile or frown; he just wore that plain, boring, military look.
"Since you have come to us from your kingdom," began Anilahindari, "you may make the first offer. And from there, we shall work together to find a treaty that fits us both."

Anastasia resumed to her seat and heaved open the dusty book. "Chapter 11: Nightshades and Other Toxic Flora," she answered with malicious excitemet.
Rising to face Mma Rafstwari, Diran 'ko announced, "Your highness, it is becoming more and more difficult to keep peace in our kingdom and our warriors out of harm. The fighting has advanced nearly to our borders. The time for action is now."
Mma Rafstwari looked more weary than alarmed. War always unsettled her, she believed it awakened evil spirits in men. Though the warriors of her kingdom fought with the hearts of lions, the swiftness of eagles, and the ferocity of tigers, their primitive weapons were no match for the powerful armies involved in this war. She looked toward the hardened general for help. "What do you suggest, then?"
Diran 'ko looked his queen directly in the eyes with a steady gaze. "We fight."
Mma Rafstwari leapt up from her throne, cradling the babies in each arm. "No! I shall not have my people slaughtered!" She held out the infants for him to see. "Look at these children. They have a life! What will happen if this kingdom falls? What will their life be like then?"
"Your highness, please." The young gaurd finally spoke up. "Send me. I could speak with our enemies, try and find a solution. We will not wage war, I promise you."
"Manjek, how do you plan to bargain with an enemy when you cannot even speak their language?" The queen said softly, sighing.
"I can speak English well enough," he responded. "Please, your highness. It may be our last hope."
Mma Rafstwari sat back in her throne in contemplation. "Very well, then," she said grimly. "Diran 'ko, accompany the boy. I have faith in you. Do not fail me, do not fail this kingdom."

"Uh..." Daeheru paused. "Well..."
"How 'bout we just be allies?" Dulintari said, confused on what offers she was supposed to make.
"And we'll split the land in half if we win," Dae added, trying to make up for Dulintari and pretend they knew what they were talking about.
"Okay, done!" Dulin said, leaning back in her chair and putting her feet up on the table, crossing her legs at the ankles. "By the way, that's a nice necklace you have there. How much d'you think it's worth?"
Daeheru cleared his throat, trying to tell his sister not to give themselves away. "I'm not quite sure we're done, Dulin. She has to agree first."
"Oh. Right." Dulintari sighed and crossed her arms.

In the main tent of the tribal kingdom, a swirl of purple smoke suddenly appeared. When the smoke cleared, there was a bent old man leaning on a knobly stick as wrinkly as he was. . "Your highness," he said in a weary yet mystifying voice. "I hear the war is endangering our peaceful homeland. May I be of assiastance in protecting our haven?" The old man bowed low.
Ichabod's head smiled wickedly from ear to ear. "Go on," he said slowly and maliciously.
Dantrell leaned back and let out a sigh. *I have to give it to them, it was some quick thinking.* He thought. *I do hope they don't plan to keep thier promise.* He regarded the idea with distaste, as if staying true to your word was a vulgar concept.
