Back Story:When growing up she lived on an island where there are almost no pokemon.When she left home she was shocked by all the pokemon she saw but she had to go back home now she's leaving home again to follow her dream.

Ruby looked at the ocean as she pushed her boat in the water.The sun would be rising soon her parents would be furious she was running away to be a pokemon trainer.Her skitty jumped in a meow'd her pidgy keeping look."Ok lets go"She pushed the boat in and started to paddle her Pidgy landed on the front of the boat."Lets hope we make it."

Party: Slash(Blaziken), Charcoal(Shiny Charizard), Rox (Heracross) Espy (Espeon), Gron(Aggron), and Ty (Tyranitar)
Appearance: Black hair, red eyes, Red vest, red shoes, and beige pants.
Personallity: Kind and strong. Protects what he cares about.
Back Story: Jason grew up with pokemon, so he understands what they say. His mother died when he was three and his father was off traveling with his pokemon. His father's pokemon raised him and he learned to understand them. When his father came home, he finally learned about Jason's mother. However, Jason wasn't mad at his father. He did start his journey with Charcoal and Slash. (But they were a charmander and Torchic.) He trained them and gained some other friends along the way. He hates keeping his pokemon in pokeballs.

Age: 14
Party: Mudkip, Flareon, Manectric, Duskull

Personallity: Shy but easy to make friends with, not very confident in herself, in love with nature and art, very trusting and very trustworthy.
Back Story: Tara was very young when she first became intersted in Pokemon. Her mother disapproved, but her father always encouraged her love for the strange creatures. After her parents divorced and her mother won custody, Tara nearly lost hope of ever going on a Pokemon journey. For Tara's fourteenth birthday present, her mother-though rather hesitant-allowed her to leave for her Pokemon dreams. Tara's first Pokemon was her precious Mudkip, which never enters a Pokeball. She acquired it from her father, who had found it for her birthday. Now, even though she is only a beginning trainer, she plans on maybe being a Pokemon Master someday.

((W00t, thanks! But, um... Is it okay if Tara catches the rest of her Pokemon later, because since she's just starting her journey it wouldn't make much sense for her to have four. I'm sorry, that was my mistake!! gonk ))

"Are you sure you want to go out right now? It's raining!"

"Mother, please, I'll be fine."

"Oh...! Oh, alright! Just be careful!"

"I will. I love you."

"I love you, too."

Tara gave her mom a hug, and Ms. Rumika clung tightly to her young teenaged daughter, afraid to let her go. When she finally did release her, Tara gave her father a quick kiss on the cheek and started off, leaving her parents with a wave. She pulled the hood for her jacket over her head and made sure that her Mudkip was tucked safely away inside the zipper. A huge grin spread across her face, despite the bad weather. She was free. She turned down and headed for the main road. As she passed by the sea, she saw a boat, rocking in the waves. Instantly, she thought that she needed to help whoever was in the boat. But how? She glanced around; no one else. No choice. She quickly unzipped her jacket and allowed her Mudkip to fall out.

"Kip?" it murmured curiously.

"We have to help!" Tara proclaimed, pointing to the boat.

Mudkip jumped in the water and waited for Tara, who leapt in afterwards. Almost instantly, Tara was nearly washed away by the strong currents; she wasn't strong enough to fight them. Mudkip swam over to her and grabbed her shirt with its teeth, trying to help her swim. The little thing was much stronger than it looked, Tara thought. Together, they fought their way to the boat, and tried to stay along side it.

"Do you need help?" Tara called above the splashing and the rain.
