My sisters just went out and bought a couple hula hoops today. That brought back memories, man! I was playing with one all day!
What toys were your favorite?

I liked that thing where you sit on it and turn the wheel and you spin around really really fast. I also liked ripping apart barbie dolls. That was fun.

I was a building-toys kind of kid. Legos, lincoln logs, erector sets, and these round little things I always used to build extravagant pyramids with. whee

I used to have that Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll. I really liked them, until I had an "execution" and hung them both by the ceiling fan and turned it on. Poor poor sobs...Didn't even have a chance.

I tended to kill my barbies and bury them. I had a furby one time, it wouldn't shut up, so I threw it across the room, burned it, put lipstick on it, eyeliner, full makeup, and I threw it in the toilet. The b***h still worked. o_000
I had barbies when I was younger like 3 or 4, and I had a barbie fun house, it was big and pink, and my sister threw it at my head. It didn't stop bleeding until hours later. It was interesting... kind of sketched out..
I stopped playing with barbie's after that.

I was a kid of the 80's, so I had one of those hideous, bulky robots things that would talk, sing "London Bridge", (among others probably; London Bridge is the only one I remember) waddle around, twist it's head around (exorcist style biggrin ) and had limited movement of it's arms. I kinda liked it, but then again I was like five at the time, so I liked pretty much anything. Five-year olds are easily amused. That's pretty much my earliest memory as far as toys go.
