So a lot of people love the gothic style And for them it's almost like a religion Something they enjoy studying And I know most people say, "goths read w/e they want" Well obviously, but to someone who studies this sub culture and wants to learn more need to know some books that give you a look into this. Someone asked me what are some Gothic related books they could read. So here are my top 5 in no specific order:
Green Angel by Alice Hoffman A Series of Unfourtunate Events by Lemony Snicket Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Lerox Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie
Those are some delightful books I've read, even though it's more into the Elegant Gothic Lolita category.
Any questions on any of the books or have any recommendations? Then post it or add your top 5 gothic related books.

"Vampire kisses" is a frickin awsome book, plus the sequal!!!! My suggestion is to read "The Gothic Bible" no its not really a bible, it just explains goths a little better the history and such and it gives you tons of websites to check out that have to do with fashion, alchohol, magazines, tons of stuff. If your more into manga I suggest "Model" its about vampires. There are always the classics, the Anne Rice books. Tons and tons of books, I love books.

I haven't really read any... sweatdrop But, I have a closet shelf full of those kind of books. Vampires and all kinds of things... I'm just too lazy to read any of them. I also love Edgar Allen Poe. And I write a bit of poetry, so mine is always getting compared to his at school. I write a bit... dark at times. =D
