Just a little ponder. What is your favorite fighting-genre video game and why?

Just one?
o_o;;;;
At the moment I would have to say SC3, since Ive made the most money playing it and I enjoy the graphics
(although I believe that actual fighting was better in SC2)
But, then again..
Im cosplaying a character from Guilty Gear,
and I love the 2d graphics.
Also its harder for people to buttom smash on it.
And its characters are more interesting than SC and most others I have played

The biggest complaint about SC3 was the lack of variety (plus the fact it was only released for the PS2), which is why it didn't receive as much attention as Soul Calibur 2 did. I want to play Guilty Gear. It looks so cool. xp Curse my $10 allowance!

O-Baka San I'd have to say Super Smash Brother Melee. Wait, does it count? Super Smash Bros. Melee is being debated whether it really is a fighting game or not. Although, I don't see what other genre gamers can classify it in. neutral I should've added it into the poll. gonk

I agree with pretty much everything except for the gameplay part. For some reason, I found the SC3 gameplay less clunky then the SC2. It's rather smooth after I compared the two with characters that did not change much from the transition from SC2 to SC3. The Character Creation mode could get a little ridiculous though. Have you ever tried to make Hitler fight Stalin? 3nodding

Totally sc3 the character creation system was cool and the multiplayer is always fun with cool weapons, the addition of the tales of the sword mode was pretty fun overall the game is pretty addicting . razz onygon-:.
