Name: Lilith (paler eyes)
Gender: Female
Age: 10
Personality: Lilith is rather calm and collected for a 10 year old, and especially so for a blind girl. Often, of her and her sister, she has the answers for whatever problem that presents itself. She is very carefree and doesn't concern herself with her disability. She runs around, explores and climbs trees, much to her mothers annoyance. She tries to be as independant as she can, and is usually successful at it. She has a small streak of pride which can cause problems for her. She allows few people to assist her when she needs help, those include her sister Lydia, their parents and the newly adopted Guinivere and Lancelot. She patiently allows others to lead her, but if they do it excessivly, she gets annoyed.

Appearance: Lilith is a typical little 10 year old, smaller, still wide eyed and with freakles. Her skin is tan from how much time she spends outside on the family's farm and she is normally muddy and scratched up from her exploring. Both twins have bright orange hair, which are normally in pigtails. Lilith is blind and has pale blue/white eyes, while Lydia's are a brighter blue. Lilith likes to wear dresses, country/farmer fashioned, while Lydia wears shirt and pants, also country/farmerish.

Likes: Being outdoors, climbing trees, listening to her sister read, being with her sister, taking care of Guinivere, doing minor chores on the farm, listening to her sister talk and discribe the scenery.

Dislikes: People looking down on her because of her blindness, others assuming she needs help, being told what to do and not do, hearing that she isn't capable of something.

Lancelot's Logs...

Log 1

Lilith let go of Lydia's hand and tumbled into the field, giggling. "Isn't this fun, Lydia? We should play up here more often, the grass smells so nice and it's all thick and soft." She ran her hands through it, until it bumped into Guinivere. "I can see why you like it here too."

Guinivere peeped and nuzzled against Lilith's hand.

"Mom says we shouldn't really come out her alone though Lilith." falling down into the grass next to her sister she poked at her. "Too many wild Hippogryphs she says."

Lancelot wriggled out of Lydia's arms and found himself close to his sister. He peeped and chirped at her, wanting attention.

Lilith rolled her pale blue eyes. "Mom also says that I shouldn't be climbing trees, but have you seen that stopping me?" she asked, laughing.

"Besides, Guinny likes it out here, she gets to play with more then just Lancelot."

Guinivere peeped loudly, hey, she didn't mind her brother so much. Except when he was being LOUD! She turned to him and nipped at his ear. Shush. What a noisy guy. She pushed her nose under his stomach, trying to flip him over. Hehe!

"No, climbing trees is fun though! I don't know why she'd say you couldn't do that! There's no wild hippogryphs in them!" she also laughed.

"Yah. I should bring Lancey out here more often. He's so lazy! Snores loud!" she grinned, reaching down and patting the brown and black hippogryph.

"You know what's awesome about coming out here though? Even though mom says it's bad? The outdoor hippogryph's have really pretty colours... when I'm lucky enough to see them... wish you could." she pouts.

Lancelot squeaked as his sister pushed on his stomach. Owie! She was crazy! He flopped a paw towards her head, trying to make her stop.

Lilith laughed along with her sister. "I'm sure me not being able to see the branches I'm leaping for has something to do with it."

She smiled and shook her head. "Oh, I don't need to see them. You tell me how pretty they are already. I've got a pretty good imagination, ya know."

Guinivere squealed and kept pushing her nose under him. C'mon, flip already! She tried dodging the paw comming at her, but missed, smacking into it instead. Fine then, if that's how he wanted to play! She climbed on top of him, and started to tug his ear back with her little mouth.

"Well... yah..." Lydia poked at Lilith's nose, a habit she had since Lil couldn't see her stick out her tongue.

"Okay, yah... that's true too." Lydia shrugged. Her sister always had an answer to everything.

Lancelot let out a wail when his sister tugged at his ear. He whimpered and tried to kick at her with his back legs, but was easily made tired.

"They're fighting again..."

Lilith put her hands in the grass, patting around until she reached the mass of fur and warmth. Hmm, now which was which...? She touched one, which was making violent tugging motions under her hand, then moved her hand to the one under, who's yells she could feel vibrating through him. Ah ha. She picked up the top one gently.

"Guin, that's not very nice," she said, scolding the little chick.

But...but...it was fun! He wasn't yelling that loud. He's just a sissy anyway. Guinivere started to grump in Lilith's arms, until she started stroking her black and white back.

Lilith laid back, carefully feeling around for Lydia's lap and laying her head in it, then Guin on her own chest. "They were just plaaayyiing, weren't you?" she said, cooing at Guinivere.

"If playing includes tugging poor little Lance's ear off, I suppose they were." giggling, Lydia scooped up Lancelot just before she had a Lilith on her lap.

Lancelot made a few strange chirping noises at being lifted away. Hey! He could take care of himself thank you! His sister was a brat and he could so win any fight they had!

If only he could get up on his own four legs for more than two seconds. Lydia giggled more and patted his head. Lance seemed happy with this and settled down.

Guinivere had contently settled on Lilith's warm chest, and had circled once, then tucked her head into her body, making herself into a small ball. She was now purring (or snoring, Lilith couldn't tell which) happily. Lilith idily patted her head and yawned.

"We should probably head back soon. Mom'll worry and all the excitement seems like it's tiring them out." She giggled and scratched Guin's ear.

"Yah. We did tell her we'd only be going to the store. That was, what? Two hours ago?" she cuddled Lancelot who squirmed around tiredly in her arms.

"Okay let's go." Helping her sister up, she took Lilith's hand as Lilith wound her arm carefully around Guinivere.

"This way." she led her sister slowly out of the fields, and back towards home.

All the while having a snoring hippogryph drooling on her shirt.

Guinivere's Logs...

As a newborn!

Log 1

Guinivere lifted her head, hearing things around her. She tried to open her eyes, but couldn't get them open more then a crack, and besides that, the light was far to blinding for her anyway.

She cried out. Shouldn't her brother be around her somewhere? Where waaaas he?

And then it happened. Minding his OWN business (even though he was spying on the baby gryph) something came and bumped into his side.

"AUGH!" he cried out, turning his head to see a... weird lookin gryph. What was up with that hair? And that outfit? Why the heck would any self respectin' gryph be goin' around in that sort of get up?

Man he must have a cruel den mother.

"Helloooooo.... bigger Gryph here... watch where ya goin'." he hrmphed...

Then realized it was another baby gryph. Opening his mouth to say something he suddenly realized there was something else coming close to him. Turning his head he spied that little paley baby coming up on his haunched.

Oh no.

This likely wasn't going to end well.

The small white and black chick turned her head left and right. Maybe if she moved she'd find where he went...

She started crawling in a random direction. Heerrrree brother brother brother...

She stopped suddenly, squeaking loudly as she ran into the front leg of a bright red (although she didn't know the color) object.

Nothing could spoil Felicity's mood, it seemed. Not even the reappearence of the unfriendly baby Gryph, (not that she thought him unfriendly- Felicity had been happily unaware of Kuja's dislike of her presence) seemed to let her down. As a matter of fact, Felicity was estatic when she heard the small squeak come out of the other chick's mouth. A second Gryph?! That was wonderful!

Her priority, however, was on the first 'something' that she'd sniffed out. Mushu, of course. Oblivious to the dread that was forming in the red Gryphon at the sight of two approaching babies, Felicity continued onward, wiggling close enough to Mushu so that she was an inch or so away from his forepaws. She then promptly let out a trill of happy squeaks, as it to introduce herself.

Unfortunately for her, Felicity hadn't the slightest clue that Kuja was headed towards her. Besides, she hadn't moved his stinky rock!

Mushu promptly tried to backpeddle from the little gryphs. Saddly, he found his back leg bumping up against something else tiny, and soft. Turning his head he saw yet another little gryph. What the?!

Looking left for an escape his eyes went wide as a tiny pig made it's way towards him! (Afterall the cow couldn't obviously be the cow seeing as Susan was a cow).

These little monsters were everywhere!

Cri Kee seemed to laugh at Mushu's misfortune, however quickly stopped as the red gryph shot him a threatening glance. It was then he heard the tiny trilling noises. Turning his head towards the first baby he'd seen he made a nervous laugh.

"Hi... I'm Mushu... nice to meet you all..."

Guinivere chirped up at Mushu. She had no idea what was going on, but he had made some funny noises.

Pay attention to meeeeee! She kept chirpping, hoping he would cuddle against her like her brother did. She was cold anyway and tried moving in closer.

Spinning his head towards Setzer's direction, Mushu huffed, "Whatchu laughin' at spikey?" he annoyedly commented on the gryph's hair. Hey..

That one had a stupid looking outfit on too. What was up with that?! Wait... wasn't that one from his flock? Ugh.. it was too... Then the the white and black piggy started chirping at him. Sighing audibly he reached over and nipped at the back of her scruff, dragging her closer, although it was reluctantly.

He may be bigger, but he wasn't so much bigger than the chicks that it was easy to do that.

The Great Mushu!...

Reduced to chick sitter.

Guinivere chirped happily as she was dragged closer to the other gryph, then nuzzled against Mushu. Oooh, soft fur. Yay!

She purred contentedly and curled up, yawning cutely. Wherever brother was, he was missing out.

Eugh... it was being all mushy snuggly with him. Mushu felt his ego deflate as the pig nuzzled against him.

Stupid purring piggy.

If Mushu knew there was another pig, he'd have been thankful it wasn't there. Turning his head around he noticed the other little gryph curling up for a nap. Well.. whatever. At least it wasn't buggin' him.

Guinivere tried to open her eyes again. Awww, why couldn't she see? It was so annoying. She wanted to see the fluffy thing she was snuggling against.

She started peeping again. Maybe the fluffy thing would play with her!

Mushu yawned as the little chick started peeping at him. Nu uh. Nooo way. He was napping now and that was that! The little gryph could either nap with him, or he'd simply ignore it and nap anyways. Curling up he stretched out his paws and let himself get comfortable.

Maybe it would go away.

The little gryph peeped for a good minute longer. Aww...he had gone to sleep. What a boring old thing. Her head swayed as she felt the steady rise and fall of his chest.

Gee...she was getting...sleepy too..

Guinivere yawned again, then padded about, climbing over his leg, then up his side. She carefully settled herself between his wings and laid her head down on his neck and nuzzled her nose in. So cooommmffyyy.

She soon fell fast asleep, chirping happily everynow and then when she breathed out.

Log 2

Guinivere yawned and licked her dry lips. What a nice nap, but now it was time to do some more exploring. She tried to open her eyes again, but got blinded by all the brightness outside.

She was still laying on Mushu, so carefully felt to the side to get down. The field below was further then she anticipated and she tumbled down with a squeak. She nudged at the red gryph but when he didn't wake up, she stumbled forward, sniffing around for anything interesting.

Cad was lying in a field, surrounded by low-growing grass that pricked at his underside. He could hear his den mother off in teh distance sniffing around, liekly looking for him. She was rather scatterbrained and often misplaced Cad, the only chick she was appointed. She was never given more than one as she couldn't be trusted with more.

Suddenly, he heard another noise in another direction and he turned his head instinctively, ears twitching to try and locate it. He chirped an inquiry in the sounds direction. It sounded like a chick had tumbled nearby.

Oh! There was someone else! She chirpped again, and tried bounding off in the direction of the other noise, only to trip over her paw.

She cried for a moment, then started sniffing and moving forward, this time more slowly. Soon she bumped into the something that was chirping. Literally.

He felt another body bup into his. It was small, and about his size, roughly as strong, clearly, another chick, and Cad chirped a greeting. He was so happy. Now they could play!

She tilted her head sidways. It wasn't making the funny noises that the big wingged one was. Cool!

Guinivere chirpped back happily. Yes, play! How did they play, anyway?

Cad wasn't quite sure. Many of his play experiences were simply tumbles into and around one another, so he flopped onto his side and began to roll.

He circled around Guinivere and stopped as he nudged into her side. He giggled, an excitedly happy look on his face.

She couldn't see what he was doing, but from the sounds of it, he was rolling around beside her. She jumped and chirped, suprised as he nudged her in the side.

Guinever shook her shoulders. This ought to be intersting. Her brother and she had only ever really fake wrestled, nipping at eachother. She flopped on her stomach and rolled around once and squeaked. Ooh, that made her dizzy!

Cad roled after her, stopping after only on rotation. Didn't she like this? He turned with all his might, trying to roll on top, but wasn't so fortuante. He was still only little, so he tried to topple her with his front paws."Chiiiii!"

They could wrestle, he supposed.

The little white and black chick tried to roll again, and felt her stomach turn. Ohh, she just wasn't cut out for this rolling stuff.

She made a half laugh half snorting sound at his 'chi' noise. What a funny noise! She rooted around with her nose to find where he was and opened her small mouth when she found him and bit down lightly on his ear, tugging. This was a more fun game, anyway!

A short jerk on his ear took Cad off guard and he toppled over.

That was different!

He nipped back, not understanding this biting thing. it seemd rather unpleasant, so far. He like nudging and rolling!

Guinivere squeaked with laughter. It's not like her teeth were that sharp, it just kind of pinched a little. Roughhousing was fun, anyway!

She nudged under him to try to push him over, but when she pushed up she lost her balance and toppled backwards. Wee!

The other gryph pushed herself under him, wedging his fornt end off the ground and as she began to fall back, so did he. Back he fell but stopped suddenly with a tugging on his neck and he set down gently.

"I found yooou!"

It was his den mother.

"Now I won't get in trouble again for loosing you!"

She talked fast and emphasised the long "O" and "U" sounds. She was kind of fun though. So much tumbling!

"Now I'm going to take you back before you scamper off again!"

With that, she picked Cad up and looked around, finding a flat area long enough to run off. She needed a run way for some reason that Cad never understood...

Guinivere squacked. Noooo! Don't leave her all alone!

She chased after her new playmate. Wait, wait! She chirped loudly. Now what was she supposed to do? Her ears drooped and she sat down, crying.

"Guin? Are you here?" A small voice called out.

She raised her head. Hey, she knew that voice. She squeeked. Over here, over here! Liiillliittthhh!

"Oh, there you are, Guin!" the little girl said, turning her head, and smiling. "Lydia, can you...ah..." she frowned.

Her twin sister smiled sadly and nodded, then walked over, picked up Guinivere and placed her into Lilith's arms.

"Thanks Lydia," Lilith said, blinking her eyes.

"No problem," Lydia replied, putting out her arm for her sister.

"You know," Lilith said, taking Lydias arm lightly and carfully balancing the now sleepy Guinivere with the otehr. "Being blind is no fun."

Guinivere yawned and nuzzled into Lilith's shoulder as she was carried home.

Lilith let go of Lydia's hand and tumbled into the field, giggling. "Isn't this fun, Lydia? We should play up here more often, the grass smells so nice and it's all thick and soft." She ran her hands through it, until it bumped into Guinivere. "I can see why you like it here too."

Log 4

Plodding down along the stream bank, Mushu stopped as something passed in the water next to him. Turning his head he peered down to find himself looking at a school of fish swimming by. Grinning he reached down, batting at the fish, not intending to hurt any of them, but simply to see them scatter into several different directions.

The way the sun glistened off their backs was really nice. He couldn't help but enjoy the way it looked.

Cri Kee settled down on the bank next to him, looking into the water himself. He was a bit surprised that Mushu had touched the water at all. After all it was pretty cold.

This was not beyond the red gryph, however, as he had began rubbing the water off on his side, trying to warm his paw.

"Man Cri Kee, remind me never to go swimin' here."

Lilith chuckled to herself. Hah, that'd show Lydia. She totally got up here all by herself. Well...Guinivere peeping when she started going off had helped too, but really, it wasn't that bad...

She tumbled into the grass, holding Guin tight as she did, then started to rub her legs. She had had to go very very slowly and it had taken a very long time.

Guinivere giggled. What a weirdo.

Turning from where the fish and stream were, Mushu strained his eyes off towards teh center fields. There was a strange, unfamilar noise coming from that direction.

"Hey Cri Kee... what's that?" Cri Kee shook his head, he didn't know either.

"Hmm..." the little red gryph jumped to his feet and started pacing towards the noises. Soon his eyes could make out two figures. A small, tiny gryph...

And something else.

But what was it?

Slowly he inched his way forward, blinking at the strange sight before him. The gryph was familar. He'd seen that pig before!

But...

"OH MY GOD IT'S GOT NO FUR!" He cried out. To Lilith it would sound like a loud whinny or whining.

"What is wrong with this picture!?"

Lilith sat up quickly. "Eh? What's that?" She looked around. "Guinny, who's there? Is it someone good or bad?"

Guinivere wrinkled her nose. Well...she thought he smelled familiar, so he had to be good...Oh, she remembered! She had slept on him. She peeped happily. He was fun!

"Oh, he's good then, eh? Hello there!" She held out her hand for Mushu to sniff it.

Was it talking to him? What sort of jibberish was that!? DEMONS! The thought reeled through his mind. The demons had come and cursed that tiny gryph and now they were here to take over the rest of the fields!

No! That couldn't ... hey... what was that?

The furless demon stuck it's hand out towards him. It looked soft. Small too. It had to be a trick.

But something urged him forwards and he inched slowly towards it, sniffing as he did so.

"So..." he started, trying to talk to the strange creature. "Well... you look kinda... small... to be a demon..." he mumbled.

Man. He couldn't wait to tell his den mother about this!

Lilith giggled as she felt the thing sniff her hand. She tentitivly touched his head and petted it. It felt something like Guinivere's but with more fur and feathers. "You're pretty sweet, huh?"

Guinivere stumbled over to Mushu and cuddled against him. Hey, it was the soft thing! Yay! She peeped happily. Remember her?

Yes. Not only did Mushu have fur and feathers... he was readily equiped with whiskers and little horns upon the top of his head. He winced and shrunk back a bit when the furless demon touched at his head, however he relaxed after a moment, seeming to enjoy the attention.

Then the little one flopped against him. He looked down and yup. For sure. It was the little piggy. And it was sleeping on him again!

He groaned inspite of himself, then sat his haunched down to continue with the pettings.

That was, of course, until Cri Kee started chirruping and making noises at him. It was then that Mushu caught on.

SHE WAS BRAINWASHING HIM!

"AAAHHHHHH!!!!" he shrieked, reaching up with a paw and swatting at the girl. "GET AWAY DEMON! BACK! BACK!" it came out as growls and agitated rumblings from the fluffy red critter.

"NO ONE GETS THE DROP ON THE GREAT MUSHU!"

Guinivere sqeaked loudly as Mushu rocketed backwards and started swating his paws. Oh, cut it out! Sheesh. She cried. Her pillow was moving! Please hold still?

"Oh, no, what did I do wrong?" Lilith asked mornfully. "Guinny likes it when I pet her!" She was holding her hand up protectivly. He didn't seem like he was very big, but she couldn't see that for sure.

"Hey! HEEEEYYYYY!" Mushu cried out to the furless demon.

"DONTCHU GO HOLDING THAT THING UP AT ME! YOU BETTER GET IT BACK DOWN OR MUSHU GONNA COME WHOOP YO BUNS!" the little gryph suddenly felt a surge of defensiveness.

He was single handedly going to stop this menace! Oh what a menace it was! Furless... WITH HANDS! Brainwashing chicks!

THE MADNESS!

Guinivere looked around, trying to figure out how to get the yelling gryph to be quiet. He was disturbing her nap! She pawed up his side, trying to reach up. Finally she tried launching up and nipping at his ear. Sttooppp, he was scaring Lilith!

"I'm not doing anything, really!" Lilith said, keeping the hand in front of her face. She sighed and withdrew her other hand. "Come on, it's ok little guy."

This strange demon didn't seem to understand what it was dealing with! Although it pulled it's hand back. It was still speaking that crazy jibberish at him!

He was about to move forward when he suddenly let out a loud yelp. That brainwashed Gryphon was nipping at his ear! OW!

Cri Kee fluttered around anxiously, wondering what was going on. Mushu seemed pretty ticked off with that furless creature. The little thing attacking him didn't seem to happy either.

"GET OFFA ME!!" Mushu cried out at Guinivere.

It...he...he had just ... yelled at her. No one had ever....YELLED at Guinivere. You didn't YELL at her. She fluffed up her shoulders and fur. How dare he? Her bottom lip quivered and she sniffled. She opened her mouth, took a deep breath and started yowling at the top of her lungs.

Lilith narrowed her pale blue eyes. "What'd you do?" She asked, looking to where the yelling is. "Are you hurting my Guinny?" Lil reached out her hand again, but this time in a fast motion, and tired to judge where Mushu was, then brought down her hand lightly, but hopefully with enough suprise and force it would suprise Mushu.

"Hey.. come one now... stop that!" Mushu turned his attention to the yowling chick. "It's not that bad.. Just don't bite at my ea... HEY!"

He felt something smack his head. Instinctively he turned around and bit at whatever it was.

"Ouch, shoot," Lilith said, rubbing her hand. The gryph had only caught the edge, scrapping the palm of her hand, but she was sure it probably looked bright red. Mom wasn't gonna like that, when she had to explain how she hurt herself...

Guinivere continued to whimper. Stop being mean to her Lilith! She didn't mean any harm! Pleeaaasse? She peeped sadly. She thought the big fluffy gryph was nice.

"Hah! You take that you hairle... hey whatchu cryin' about?" he turned his attention back to the small pig gryphon.

"C'mon... stop cryin'. Dontcha know only babies c... wait... you is a baby... heh." Sighing he plopped his butt down, but inched a bit away from Lilith.

Any other human would wonder if the girl had ever been taught to not approach wild animals. Here we would likely deem. She hadn't.

Lilith licked her hand, trying to sooth the sting. "Huh, bet this is why Mom says to leave wild animals alone." She laughed. Lydia was going to be furious. Oh well.

Guinivere tried to calm down, peeping only a bit now. She hiccoughed a couple times, trying not to cry, then nuzzled into Mushu. See? The big-fluffy was nice and warm, he should act nice and warm too!

Mushu let out a caving sigh. Nudging down against the little gryph he rolled his eyes. She`d better not really be brainwashed... but the Furless demon wasn`t really bugging him right now... and he still had his mind.

So provided she didn`t come at him with that soft peachy coloured thing again, he`d let it slide.

Lilith sighed and laid back. Weird things. Guess it could have been worse, the gryph could have been full grown.

Guinivere smiled and purred, then laid down under Mushu and peeped. He should take a nap too.

Nap's were for babies. Not for great and amazing dragon Gryph's like Mushu. Wait, we talking about the same gryph here? Mushu loved naps actually. He just didn't like hand raising furless demons who brainwashed gryph's.

Man. Demon's were funny looking. It didn't even look like it had eyes! Poor piggy. He pondered the idea of freeing the pig, but he thought against it. Who knew what the demon had done to it!

He yawned, the tiredness hitting him suddenly like a brick. Well, maybe he could lay his head down for just...

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Guinivere smiled as she felt Mushu's breathing slow down. Yay, he was going to sleep too! She lifted her head slightly and licked his chin, then lowered her head and tucked it against her body.

"Silly, silly Guin," Lilith said, as she hear the sounds Guinivere made sleeping. She was so dead when she got home. Oh well. She closed her eyes and fell into a light sleep.

Solo RP for Lancelot and Lydia

Feed Me!

Lancelot was enjoying his warm bed in Lydia and Lilith's room. He had just woke up from his nap and lifting his head to the light as sun came in through the shutters. Snuffing about, he scented for his sister, but didn't notice her around.

"Hey boy!" Lydia called out, looking up from her books as the Hippogryph snort-snuffing could be heard from across the room. "Lil and Guini are downstairs. I decided to stay up here and finish reading..." she hopped off her bed and knelt down next to him.

"I thought you were going to sleep the whole night away!" giggling she lifted, to Lancelot's dismay, the tiny gryph from his bed.

He mewled and whined at her, being taken from his bed. Didn't she know it was warm there! Now he was cold! His body shivered a bit as if to try to tell her exactly how bad it was!

"Oh you're cold? Let me get you a blanket!" she grinned and ran over to the bed, yanking her doll's blanket out from under it, wrapping up the tiny cow hippogryph.

"You know what? I think it's funny they call you a cow. You're a boy! You should be.. umm.. a bull!" she scratched behind the newborn's ears.

Lancelot liked having his ears rubbed and scratched. His nose wiggled and he tried to paw at her hand. But the blanket was constraining him.

Oh well. He wondered if he was going to get fed now. A shrill whine came out from his mouth, wanting his food. They bottle fed the two hippogryphs usually. They didn't have the mother here. Lydia remembered when he daddy brought them home. She and Lilith had been so surprised they hadn't known what to do.

Lancelot on the other hand didn't really care for remembering. He just wanted his bottle! Was that so much to ask? Still crying, Lydia just smiled and started out her room and down the wooden steps to the kitchen. She could hear the radio on in the other room. Probably Lilith and Guini. Her mother was in the kitchen when she got there.

"Mom?"

"Yes Lydia dear?"

"Can I give a bottle to Lancelot? He won't stop crying! I think he's hungry." she implored as the chocolate coloured bull-cow hippogryph whined.

Her mother turned and reached into the fridge, pulling out a bottle. "Wait one minute, I need to warm it up."

"Okay mom."

Turning she sat down at the kitchen table while her mother put on a pot of boiling water. She watched the bottle get sunk into the hot water.

The familar sound of bubbling pot water brought Lancelot's crying to a still. He knew that sound meant one thing. Food! He wriggled anxiously in the blanket. He wanted to open his eyes, but he couldn't. He wanted to be able to see what was going on!

He also wished his sister was there. Then it could be here in the silly blanket!

The bubbling noises stopped suddenly, and some minutes later he felt a familar feeling hit his lips. Bottle!

Lydia watched the little guy feed. This was her favourite part about having a baby pet. But boy was he messy. The milk dribbled all down his chin. Good thing the blanket was there, she just used that to dab it away.

"Thanks mom!" the little girl called across the room.

Now to go find Lilith and Guini.

Solo RP for Lancelot and Lydia

I've got Chocolate... but no milk!

"Hmm..." Lydia was sitting on the porch of her home, kicking her feet while she held her chin in thought. Where had Lilith gone? After feeding Lancelot, she had run into the room with the radio going and only found their father.

"Pappy?" she had asked, "Where is Lil?"

"I think she went out to the backyard muffin, why not check out there?" the older man smiled. He had a warm smile and it wore on him like gold.

"Okay Pappy!" dragging Lancelot off with her she had wandered out to the backyard.

"LIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLIIIITTTHHHH!" she had called out.

No answer.

"LILITH!" she tried again.

Still no answer.

"Hmm... Okay c'mon Lancey! Let's go find your sister!" she careened snuggling her richly coloured hippogryph baby.

Lancelot had been anything but impressed by all this yelling and dragging around. He had just eaten not so long ago, and the jostling was getting the best of him. His little stomach wasn't handling the extra movement. He wanted down! Whimpering quietly as they moved along he wished he could tell Lydia to stop and slow down. Please! Let me be!

Sadly, he could not. And Lydia could not speak hippogryph in the first place, let alone baby hippogryph noises.

"Lillith!" she frowned, nearing the tire swing. This was one of her sister's favourite spots. Cause of the big tree. The two of them climbed like little monkeys. Much to the dismay of their mother.

Lancelot, now in the tire swing, felt relieved as the moving stopped. His stomach began to unknot and he let out a tired chirp. Oh, come on sister! Come out of hiding! Come stop Lydia from being so jumpy! Where are you sister!? I miss you!

Pathetic chirruping aside, there did not seem to be anyone around. Lydia kneeled down in front of Lancelot, "Stay here Lancey! I'll be right back!" with that, she took off to the front yard.

Well. It was quiet now. Lancelot attempted to turn around in the tire swing, but soon fell himself head over tail doing a nice butt plant on the grassy ground beneath him. Ow! Hey! That wasn't very nice at all! Where did the ground come from! Why was he not in the oddly smelling thing anymore!

Snuffling at the grass he whined again. Sister... where are you! Please come back... I'm lonely... I'm scared... sister please! You've been gone all morning!

The patter of feet came rushing towards him and the Chocolate hippogryph felt himself swooped up and into the arms of his human again. Lydia was mumbling something, he didn't really understand anything she said though. He raised his little paws and touched at her chin. It's okay, sister always comes back!

Lydia laughed and tickled the baby hippogryph's tummy. Lancelot wiggled around and almost seemed to giggle. Lydia thought so anyways.

Turning her head back off in the distance, Lydia's eye lit up in a sudden thought. No...

"Oh Lancelot.. I think I know where she went..." worried now, she ran into the house, taking her hippogryph with her.

Lancelot, yet again, was being bounced around. The food in his belly wasn't much wanting to stay anymore. Choking down he was relieved when he felt himself taken to much larger, and soft arms.

"What was that Lydia?" the mother creature.

"I think Lilith went to the field... I'm worried Mama!"

"... I'll send your father to go find her. Oh, I've told you girls not to go there alone." Lancelot snuggled into 'mama's arms. She smelled like strawberries. He didn't know what strawberries actually were, but the smell was really nice.

Almost edible. But he knew not to gum on the mama. She didn't like that too much. He'd tried it once when he'd first been brought here. She'd yelped and passed him off quickly to really really big arms. That creature smelled like oil and smoke. He didn't so much like that smell.

Yucky. But for now, he could sense the panic in the room. He wasn't sure exactly what was going on, but he knew he still couldn't smell his sister or Lydia's sister.

Sister!!!!

The strawberry lady stroked Lancelot's fur and sat in a chair. She was mumbling softly to him. He wished he knew what she was saying... but it was so soft and warm sounding he let himself curl up and snuggle happily down.

Okay. Maybe we'll get a nap... then sister will be back. Yup.

That's the way it's gonna be.

Guinivere's Logs...

As an Infant! (Part 1)

Log 5

Getting to the field this time had been far easier, now that Guin's eyes had opened. They had made it in record time. Lilith was also learning the path better, which had proved very helpful.

Guinivere looked around. So THIS is what the medow looked like! How exciting! She peeped happily and ran around in circles. It was so exciting to be able to run like this.

Felicity brought her soft, velvety muzzle to the skies, drawing a great breath of air in happily. Hmm? There was a new smell around! This smell most certainly did not belong to her human, though it sort of... Kind of... Smelled like him? Frowning diligently, the curious gryphon pranced in the direction of Guinivere and Lilth, skidding to a halt when she saw the pair. Oh! There were others who had human pets? Felicity squeaked happily, charging thoughtlessly in Guinivere and Lilith's direction, her mind void of any caution and hazard.

Out of the corners of his frosty, foggy eyes, the little boy noticed Felicity's abrupt change in pace. Spitting out the wheat from between his lips, the skinny kid shouted out towards his gryph. "Ellie! Ellie, come back here- where ya running to!?" he cried out, his rich southern accent flowing through his words. Cael leapt up from his comfortable sitting place and gave chase to Felicity.

Lilith's widened her white-blue eyes. "Oh!" She had heard someone call out, another person. She didn't know that others came up here, aside from her and her sister. "Hello?" she called out. Oh, dear... She took a tentitave step backwards, as she heard something moving in her direction, and fast. "Guinny..." she said nervously.

Guin looked up at Lilith and cheeped. Hmm? What's wrong? She watched the girl, and noticed the worried look on her face. Oh! Right...Lilith didn't know if this charging Gryph was going to hurt her or not.. Hmm.. Guinivere thought quickly, and started racing forward to meet Felicity, and took a small leap, trying to stop the new gryph.

Felicity was determined. And excited. Which, of course, was a combination that gave her a great amount of energy and carelessness. Squeaking happily, she froliced into the air, her bottom wagging happily behind her, her hindquarters being beaten by her wispy black tail.
The gryphon finally came to a sloppily, uncoordinated halt a few feet away from Guinivere, who was still charging. "Hello!" she cried out, wagging her tail happily as her ears flopped around her head. "I'm Ellie! What's your name?" she implored cheerfully, before plopping down onto her butt.

Cael, who had hardly broken a sweat from chasing Felicity, (which he did quite a lot; hence the lack of energy needed to use to find her), finally paused at the top of the hill. There was Felicity... and another gryph, and another... human?! Cael raised an eyebrow curiously, his lanky arms folding over his overall clad chest. The nine year old boy tumbled down the hill, trotting over towards the two gryphs and pausing a fair distance away.

Yikes, the other gryph had stopped! Guinivere put her front paws down quickly, screeching to a hault, but still tumbling head first into the gryph. "OOF!" she exclaimed. "Um, Hi..." she said carefully. Her and her brother had been practicing with each other how to talk properly. "I'm Guinivere," she said. "How do you do?"

Lilith tugged at her apron nervously. The charging noise had stopped, but now the two were making strange noises. She easily identified Guinny's squaks, which she had heard many times before at home. The other sounded friendly, so she relaxed. "Is there someone else here?" she called out again. She thought she had heard a human voice, but it had been a ways off, she couldn't tell.

Clearly estatic, it was only natural that Felicity's tail continued to wag, thumping quietly against the soft, lush earth beneath her. A gryphy smile pulled on her muzzle, and she raised her head into the air lightly, letting the wind blow through her body.
"I'm wonderful!" Felicity replied happily, smiling brightly at Guinivere. Just as she was about to open her mouth to speak again, she noticed the approaching human from behind the other gryph. "Oh! You have a human too?" she asked kindly, her voice suprisingly melodic sounding. One might've thought it would be harsh and squeaky, given her enthusiasm.

Cael stared warily at the two gryphons, a small, kiddish grin on his face. The other little one that Felicity was sitting beside didn't seem to be harmful. Relieved, though still a bit bothered by his gryph's reckless behavior, the little boy approached his gryph, patting her on the head lovingly. "Ellie, you ought to be more careful," he warned humbly, scratching behind the gryphs ear.
Just as he was pulling away, however, he noticed the other child. Blinking twice, as if severely confused, he glanced between the white and black gryph next to Felicity, then back to the little girl.
"Is that one yours?" he asked finally, taking his hands out of his overall pockets.

Guinivere tilted her head to the side. She had a human? "Don't...umm, we belong to them?" she asked, confused. "I mean, Lilith feeds me and gives me a home, it seems like I'm more hers then she's more mine..."

The white and black gryph giggled and wiggled around. Meeting new gryphs was fun!

Lilith looked over toward the human voice, but ended up looking slightly to the left of him. "Yes, she's mine. My sister and I take care of her and her brother." She smiled sweetly. "Her name is Guinivere."

Felicity smiled genuinely to Guinivere, whickering happily after her comment. "Of course not, silly! The humans belong to us. Well, Cael belongs to me, at least. I let him know when we should go to bed, when we should go outside, and I quiet up all the farm animals for him! I give him love, too." she insisted happily. It didn't seem as though Felicity thought in the slightest that she 'belonged' to anyone. Cael was just as much hers as she was his.

"Oh!" Cael interjected lightly, grinning as he brought his tiny hand to the back of his neck. "This is Ellie. Well, Felicity, but I call her Ellie." he explained cheerfully, settling down in the grass beside the two gryphons and sitting crosslegged next to Felicity. He patted her head again lightly, smiling as she trilled in recognition.
"And I'm Cael!" he added happily, looking up to Lilith.

"Nice to meet you, Cael," she said happily. "My name is Lilith," she paused as she sat down slowly, kneeling first, then patting around her to make sure she wasn't going to sit on anything or anyone. "I have a twin sister named Lydia. She says we look just like the other." Lilith giggled, then reached forward, patting around.

Guinivere shook her head. "Well, I help Lilith with some things, like getting up to the field and moving around the house, but that's about it." She glanced behind her and watched Lilith for a moment. "Oh, hold that thought..." she wiggled through the grass to Lilith's hand and rubbed against it.

Felicity giggled lightly, stretching her forepaws out in front of her as she placed her muzzle ontop of them. Crooning comfortably, the little gryphon watched her Guinivere and her human curiously. "You two sure are funny. Can't she see you?" Felicity piped up cheerfully, clearly meaning no harm or disrepect from her question.

"Oh, you've got a twin sister?" he asked kindly, his southern accent fitting his little kid farm appearence perfectly. "That's gotta be fun," he added thoughtfully, wondering for a moment what it'd be like to have a twin brother. "I think Guinivere and Felicity are making friends outta one another," he said after a short moment, grinning at the two gryphs.

Guinivere purred lightly as Lilith ran her hand over her back, then settled to scraching her ear. "No, she can't," she said, almost sadly. "They say she's...'blind' I think it was. Something's wrong with her eyes." Guin shrugged her small shoulders. "She doesn't let it stop her from doing stuff, like comming out here with just me." She squaked, laughing. "When I was still very little, and my eyes were shut, we came out here togethere. Talk about the blind leading the blind!"

The orange haired girl shifted her legs so they were tucked under her and then smoothed the skirt of her dress around them. "Are they? Guinny sounds happy, anyway, so I imagine they must be having a good time." She pushed her bangs out of her face, revealing her pale blue eyes. "What does Felicity look like?" she asked curiously.

Felicity frowned lightly. She'd never known anything out of the ordinary before- needless to say, she'd never heard of the term 'blind'. Curious, though slightly crestfallen by this discovery, Felicity's voice dropped to a mellow, soft sound. "Oh, well then I'm sorry, Guinivere. I didn't mean to say anything bad," she explained honestly, scootching foward a bit more to push her snout lightly against Lilith's hand, smiling slightly.
"I remember when I was... not... seeing... blind. I remember when I was blind too," she agreed lightly, her ears flopping around a bit.

Cael grinned lopsidedly, perking his head to the side a bit. Lilth talked a bit funny. Not in the sense that she actually sounded awkward, the way she put things just gave Cael an odd feeling. Those strange feelings were reinforced, however, when the little girl asked him to describe Felicity. Not only that, but when Cael's eyes wandered up to meet Lilith's, he noticed how very pale they were. Deciding it was best not to iduldge in questions, the little boy simply complied, his voice gentle and cheerful.
"She's white. Mostly white, at least. She's got these cute little freckles on her bum, with a black tail. An' she's got some goldy stripey things on her forelegs. And these pretty, real light lilac eyes. They're super pale. Kinda like yours," he added as an afterthought, watching Lilth carefully.

Guinivere chuckled. "Oh, I know. There's no harm in someone asking about things. She's the only human I know who can't see. But then...I only know a few humans. Lilith, her sister and their parents." She nodded. "Not seeing wasn't very much fun, but I like having the strength to run around more then being able to see." She wagged her tail.

Lilith covered her mouth as she giggled from Cael's discription. "She sounds very cute." The little girl jumped lightly as a second nose came near her hand. "Oh! Hello," she said, petting Felicity. "What a sweet little gryph you are!" She looked back up at Cael. "Oooh, lilac eyes, that must be beautiful. I love the smell of lilacs."

Felicity grinned happily, her cool snout pushing playfully against Lilith's hand. Her attention was fully on Guinivere, but she'd figured that she'd give a moment to this new gryph's human as well.
"Hey, do you wanna play tag?" Felicity suddenly thought, removing her snout from the other human's palm and focusing on Guinivere cheerfully.

"She is cute," Cael agreed proudly, though a slightly crestfallen look shrouded his eyes. It was... sad that Lilith couldn't see Felicity. Or her own gryph, for that matter. Or... Anything else.
Down, but not depressed, Cael grinned lightly. "Felicity likes the lilacs too. She knows how bizarre her eyes are colored and she was happy to find something that looks just like them." he explained thoughtfully, admiring Lilith's ability to not be upset constantly by the fact that she couldn't see.

"Tag? Sure!" She wiggled excitedly. Sounded almost as much fun as wrestling. "How do you play tag?" Guinivere asked, looking confused. "I don't think I've ever played that." She stood up and streched out, licking Lilith's hand to tell her she was going to play.

"Are you gonna go do something, Guinny?" Lilith asked, wiping her hand off on the grass. "Go have fun then." She turned back to Cael. "So what do you do for fun?"

Log 6
Whisper was inside one of the little corrals, his eyes open, looking around. Ears flicking as he waddles up to the fence to look at the people passing by. There isn't too many people out this late at night, but there's still a few. Each one that passes is met with a little bleating whinny from the very young colt who stands there, hoping to get some attention.

His head tilts this way and that curiously, his ears high up on his head as he keeps himself upon wobbly legs. His tiny tail jerks around behind him, whinnying again, louder. He wants someone to play with!

"Hold up, Guinny!" Lilith said, giggling. "I can't go as fast as you!" She made her way slowly forward, shuffling her feet in front of her. She had her thin white tipped walking stick, but she had always hated using it. It made her feel so...handicapped.

Guin scurried ahead, then back, nipping at Lilith's heels. It was fine! There was nothing in the way! Come on, come on!

"Oh, just go ahead," she said, rolling her eyes. "I'll catch up."

Guin peeped happily and ran ahead. She didn't understand a word, but she could understand that she was giving up on restraining her. Something about the intonation in her funny sounds. Weee!

The curious Whisper watches, tilting his head as he sees the two coming along the path. His wings stretch as he pushes up on his hindlegs, grabbing onto a rung of the fence that kept him from getting away.

He lets out another bleating whinny at them, hoping one will come and give him either a pet or some company!

Guinivere screached to a halt and looked around. Huh? "Hello?" she called out curiously. She padded cautiosly to the side of the road and peered over the grass.

"AWWW!" she said loudly. It was so cute! She bouncd the couple steps to Whipser and licked his head, then peeped at Lilith. Could she keep it?

A pet having a pet?

His tail wags happily as he sees Guinivere bounding over to him, making him smile brighter. He neighs at her, wrinkling his nostrils slightly when she licks at his head; he tilts it up to lick at her chin with one of those bleating sounds again.

He seems rather happy to have company! Who could blame him? He wanted company and now he has it!

"What's your name?" She asked looking down and wondering if he was old enough to talk yet. Guin nuzzled against him. Well, she was here now. "Wanna play? Eh, eh?" She laughed, snorting a little as she did.

Whisper doesn't answer with anything but a neigh, his ears twitching. He smiles up at her, tail wagging more. There was one word he understood, which was play. He pushes back away from the fence and flops onto the ground onto unbalanced legs; he lets out a squeak as he loses his weight and falls onto the soft earth on his flank. Surprised, he blinks, looking at himself then up at her.

Guinivere snickered, he lost his balance! She steped over to him carefully and nudged her nose under his stomach to try to help him back up.

"You're kinda silly, aren't you?"

With her help he manages to get back up to his feet, his tail lifting up to a more proud wag. He smiles at her and chirrups quite happily before lifting a paw up to playfully bat at her nose, saying nothing in return.

"Eep!" she said laughing and trying to block his small paw. "Hey, you have cute little black paws."

She crouched down, preparing to pounce the small gryph. "I'm gonna get you."

His eyes widen when he sees the female crouching down and he squeaks! With a hard kick of his hindlegs, he tries his best to turn and run, but to not much success given his inability to maneuver properly. He ends up only going a few feet before he crashes head first into the ground.

Eeehehe, Lancey puts up more of a fight then this! She wiggled her shoulders and suddenly lept forward and carefully pounced at his side, pulling him down and rolling around.

Guin nipped at Whisper's ears laughing. "I win!"

Guinivere Logs...

As an Infant! (Part 2)

Log 7
"Ring around the rosey, pocket fulla' posies, ashes- ashes, we all fall down!"
The end of the song was executed with a very awkward, off balance plop issued from both human and hippogryph. Cael was smiling broadly, showing off all his new teeth (he's already lost three of them, and the adult ones were growing in!) to Felicity. Giggling happily, the little boy- short for his age and terribly skinny, fixed the strap to his overalls. If it seemed that was all Cael wore, it was because it was all he were! Sure, he had various pairs of overalls, but that was the only thing he would allow his mother to purchase for him.
His skinny, bare shoulders stretched out, and his little hands flew to Felicity, dragging her into a great hug.
The pair were in the middle of Cael's farm. Jasmine and Echo- the two horses that his family owned, were grazing in some other section. It was just the two friends, happily playing around.

Felicity knew that Cael couldn't understand her. Humans spoke such a silly language! That didn't matter to her, though. Felicity had improvised with the song that Cael was singing as they danced around in circles, only to push each other over at the end.
"Dancing around all the day, all we like to do is play! Rolling, rolling, in the grass!" she sung happily, throwing her smooth, white head into the air before the two of them collapsed onto the ground once more. Felicity was convinced- it didn't get much better then this!

Oh, oh! Guinivere jumped up from the back of the wagon her and Lilith were laying in. She heard something familar.

"HIIII!" she called loudly, to carry across the field. She jumped around the hey in the wagon bed and tugged at Lilith's dress hem. "Come on, come on! Lets go play!"

Lilith sat up. "Whaaatt?" She listened carfully. Oh, that was the boy's voice...Cael, she recalled. "Ok, how about we go?" She crawled to the edge of the wagon. "Bye Papa, we're gonna go play!" she called, tumbling off the slowly moving vehicle.

Guin chirped happily and jumped off the cart. Yay! She quickly ran to Lilith's left foot and started to guide her towards the field.

Finding the fence at the edge, she scaled it quickly and started walking towards the voices. "Hi there!" She called out happily.

Felicity was the first to notice the newcomers. Recognizing the familiar faces of both Lilth and Guinivere, Felicity chirped happily, letting out a long, melodic whicker. Throwing her muzzle into the air, the gryph scampered to her feet, nearly plowing Cael over as she pranced to meet Guinivere half way.
"Hello!" she exclaimed, clearly estatic at the sight of the familiar gryph. Not only was she happy to see Guinivere, but she was pleased to remember that she and her were very alike. They were both domestic.
Not that Ellie knew what that meant truly- but what she did know was that they both lived in the human village.
"Guinivere, I remembered your name!" she cried out once more, her tail wagging, causing the entire lower half of her body to wiggle around happily. "Wanna play with me and Cael? We're dancing and falling!"

Just as soon as Cael had finished being mowed down by Felicity, he too took notice of the approaching duo. Recognizing Lilith more then he did Guinivere, he smiled toothily, that little boy grin complimenting his face. Clambering gracelessly to his feet, Cael paused a short way off from Lilith and Guinivere. (The gryph, however, had already met up with Felicity.) Hoping that Lilith could determine how far away from someone she was just by hearing their voice, Cael called out to her.
"Hi Lilith! Do you guys remember us?" he asked in vain, knowing that the two gryphs, friendly as they were acting, already remembered each other.

Guin laughed. "Dancing and falling? What a very strange game!" She laughed again and her tail wagging along in time with Felicity's. "Sure, sounds like fun!" She hopped away from Lilith's feet and over to Ellie, then jumped a little. "What are those?" she asked curiously, staring at the horses. They were very very big!

Lilith covered her mouth as she giggled. "Yes, of course we remember you," she called back, taking few steps closer. The little girl ran her hands through her hair, picking at the stray pieces of hay in her hair. As she closed the gap she slowed a bit. "I didn't know you lived on the main road." She paused. "I mean, I think we're still on the main road. Papa had to go up into town, and I don't think we turned anywhere."

Cael smiled brightly. "This is just our farm," he explained eagerly, letting one of his hands fall down to Lilith's side, and he grabbed it lightly. "Our home is a few miles off from here. The farm is on the main road, though, yup! You were right!" he exclaimed happily, impressed by Lilith's heightened senses.
Tugging on her hand a little bit, Cael squeezed it as he began to tap his foot excitedly. "Do you have horses where you live?" he asked, slightly randomly, though he had reasoning behind his madness.

It was a coincidence that both gryph and human were headed in the direction of the equines. Felicity smiled broadly, totally forgetting about Guinivere's initial statement about their silly game as she began to trot eagerly towards Jasmine and Echo. "Cael calls them 'Hooseys'," Felicity recited happily, blissfully unaware of the errors in her prounciation. "They're big and fluffy. Cael never lets me near them, though. I dunno why..." she trailed off, quirking her head to the side.
Felicity was just a newborn when it happened- so she had little to no recollection of the incident, but it was because of Jasmine and Echo- the two horses grazing in the field, that Cael and Felicity were brought together.

Lilith nodded. "We have big work horses." She couldn't remember what they were called. Some funny name. Lilith smiled slightly as she felt Cael take and pull at her hand. "Papa doesn't let me go near them though. He worries." She wrinkled her nose. So did her mom. How silly."Why?"

"Hooseys?" Guin repeated. "How interesting." She glanced back at Lilith. What were those two doing? Her eyes widened. Only Lydia had ever helped Lilith walk! Well, Lydia and herself and Lancelot.

The black and white gryph trotted back to the two humans and pushed between them, forcing Cael to take a few steps out.

Felicity nodded enthusiastically, throwing her head into the air unncessarily as she whinnied softly. "Hooseys, yep! I like them a lot, and I want to go play with them all the time, but Cael doesn't let me." she explained, a bit crestfallen- though her attention refocused itself as she watched Guinivere trot over back to the humans. What was she doing? Following curiously, Felicity plopped down, her black speckled butt comfy in the soft grass.

Cael grinned happily. "Clydesdale?" he asked curiously, recognizing the description, even if it was only two words. His family had gone to horse shows before, and he'd seen carraiges being pulled by gorgeous, pure white horses that looked like they belonged to gods. "'Cause!" he exclaimed happily, leading the way over towards Jasmine, the gentler of his two horses. "I want you to meet one of mine. Not a clydesdale, though," he reassured her. As he continued to walk, he nearly tripped over something- Lilith's gryph? Perking his head to the side, Cael awkwardly stepped over the gryph, letting Lilith's hand fall from his. Fixing the clip to his overalls subconciously, he looked down at the little creature. "I think Guinivere wants something," he said curiously.

Lilith nodded. "Yeah, that's it, a Clydesdale." She laughed. "Lydia says they're really ugly and smelly though."

She raised an eyebrow as she felt Cael stumble and then let go of her hand. Guin had been careful not to get in front of Lilith, so she didnt' trip at all, but she stopped and knelt down, feeling around for Guin. "What's up? Is something wrong?" She found the little gryph and petted her head.

Guinivere sat and grumped. She didn't know what was wrong with her, but she had suddenly felt a surge of...something. It had started in her tummy and worked it's way up to her throat. She nipped crankily at Cael's hand. "No touching my Lilith." she said.

Guin was...jealous?

Felicity watched the little scene unfold, and by the time Cael had stumbled of Guinivere, the little girl didn't know whether to giggle or gasp. Trotting quickly over to Cael's side, the gryphon nuzzled his knees (seeing as that was as high as she could reach,) affectionately, looking up at him curiously. He should've looked where he was going! It was clear Ellie was oblivious to Guinivere's intentional 'lets trip Cael' plot.
Watching as Guinivere spoke to Cael, Felicity broke into a small, hesitant smile.
"Did Cael do something wrong? He's a very silly boy, and sometimes he doesn't know what he's doing!" Felicity giggled happily, recalling a time in her memory when Cael had jumped into a lake- accidently, of course.

Cael watched Guinivere's body language, and it didn't take very long for the little boy to put two and two together. Smiling sheepishly, Cael brushed himself off a bit, quickly removing his hand from Guinvere's mouth-level as she went to n** at his hand.
"I don't think Guinivere likes me very much," he said with a small frown, dropping the strand of wheat that he'd been chewing on idly.

"No, don't...don't be silly!" Lilith said nervously. She knew Guin hadn't met many Humans, but still, she had never acted like this. "I-I'm sure she's just playing. Isn't that right?" she said, trying to coo at Guin. "You're just playing with Cael. You just thought it'd be funny to try to trip him, right?"

She was bright red by now. She felt bad that Guin was being mean and she wanted her to stop.

"Yes, he did." She shook her head. "I mean, I don't know..." She wrinkled her nose. "I'M the only one who helps her." She grumped and muttered. "No one else."

Cael noticed Lilith's extreme discomfort, and he smiled kindly. His mother had always taught him to be a polite little boy- and that was exactly what he was. A polite little nine year old. Cael shook his head lightly before speaking with a great big smile. "It's okay, Lilith!" he began happily, kneeling down next to Guinivere. He was taking a shot in the dark here, but it was worth a try. "I just think that Guinivere might've gotten upset 'cause you were walkin' with me insteada' her." he suggested thoughtfully, extending a careful hand out towards Guinivere before he looked back up to Lilith calmly. He didn't want his friend to be upset.

Felicity giggled lightly, standing up and wiggling closer to Guinivere, leaning on her playfully, as if trying to shove her over. "Don't be so silly!" she cried happily, nudging her cow-colored friend excitedly. "Anybody can help your human, so long as they're careful with her. 'Sides. Cael's a really good boy," Felicity began, clearly anxious to get playing already. "So let's go play!" she insisted happily, whinnying lightly as she stood up next to Guinivere.

Guin shook her shoulders and stuck her tongue out at Felicity. She wasn't being silly. Lilith was her human. Who she shared with Lancelot. No one elses. She looked back up at Cael, her eyes narrowed a bit. Fiiiiinnee. She could help her Lilith. Just this once.

She sniffed and turned and walked off with Ellie, looking back at Cael every now and then. "What are we playing?"

"That's really weird." Lilith said thoughtfully. "I don't think she's ever acted jealous of anything." She heard Guin walk away. "I guess she's decided it's ok..." Maybe...

"Oh well." She held up her hand to Cael. "She'll just have to learn to live with it."

Cael grinned happily. "I guess she will!" he agreed with enthuse, taking Lilith's offered hand once more as he began to walk bouncily towards Jasmine. The black mare had noticed Cael's approaching- and despite the fact that he was bringing an unfamiliar human, the mare trotted eagerly up to him, meeting him quickly. The beautiful creature buried her muzzle into his chest, snorting happily.
"Hey, girl!" he exclaimed quickly, before directing Jasmine's nuzzling at Lilith's shoulder.
The mare touched the girl's skin very gently, as if to just let her know she was there.
"This is Jasmine," he told Lilith happily. "She's the nicer horse we have."

Felicity giggled happily, skipping freely just beside Guinivere. "I don't know!" she decided, though, after just a moments time worth of thinking, that they were going to play tag.
"... YOU'RE IT!" Felicity cried out between a fit of giggles, nipping playfully at Guinivere's shoulder before she took off, galloping as fast she could in the opposite direction.

Oh, now that was just mean. She was running AWAY from the humans, where Guin wanted to stay. Had to keep an eye on that boy...

She looked back and forth between Felicity and the two, before huffing and bounding off after the other gryph.

Lil breathed in sharply as she felt a velvety thing on her shoulder. "Oh!" she said. She reached her hand up carefully and touched the horses soft nose. "She feels so soft."

Cael smiled genuinely, nodding in approval, mostly to himself. "Yeah! She is," he agreed lesuirely, holding out a hand to rub Jasmine's nape comfortingly. "I ride her bareback all the time, but I don't think it'd be a good idea for you..." he started out slowly. He hadn't said it because Lilith was blind. "Since you've never rode before," he explained further, so that the little girl didn't get the wrong idea of what he meant.

Felicity giggled happily, accompanying her gait with an occasional leap into the air. "You've gotta do better then that!" she called after her shoulder, taking an abrupt turn and heading towards where Echo was grazing.

Better then this, eh? She wondered if she could maybe outsmart the gryph. She screeched to a halt and flattened herself in the grass, scooting away from the area she had ducked down in slowly.

Now to wait.

"I'd be fine," Lilith said, smiling sweetly at Cael.

Ah, naive little Felicity. Convinced that Guinivere was still tailing her, the little gryphon squealed blissfully, occasionally doing a little skip-leap into the air. Then, hoping that she'd lose Guini, (who was still "hot on her trail", according to Ellie's brain), the little girl darted to the left, then to the left once more. The was galloping straight into Guinivere's direction, and given another second or so, she'd collide head on.

Cael blushed furiously, grinning toothily as he dropped Lilith's hand and proceeced to scratch Jasmine's neck. The mare whickered softly, snorting happily into Lilith's shirt, before the mare tugged gently on her sleeve.
"Well... Maybe another time I'll get you to ride Jasmine. She's broken, but I'm really the only one who rides her, so I dunno how she'd act with someone else on her back." he explained quietly, smiling as Jasmine seemed to have taken a liking to Lilith.

If there was anything Guin had learned from Lilith, it was listening and hearing was everything. Luckily for her, she didn't have to listen that carefully for Felicity stampeding towards her. She shook her shoulders, oh this was going to be toooo easy!

She waited another moment, then suddenly jumped up and pounced on top of Ellie.

"TAG!" she cried, darting off.

The little ten year old girl giggled. "Ooh, ok," she said, with part mock, part real disappointment.

She stroked the horses' long nose, then scratched behind her ears. "Jasmine is a pretty name. Why'd you call her that?"

Cael smiled proudly as Jasmine continued to shower Lilith with affection. She was such a good mare.
Listening as Lilith spoke, Cael suddenly perked up. "My ma named her," he responded mechanically, suddenly frowning. "I wanted to name her Ginger, but my ma said that it wasn't 'appropriate', since Jasmines' black. She said that if we ever got a roan or orange horse, I could name her ginger." Cael seemed a bit more upset about this then someone should've been. After all, it was just a name!... Then again, it could've been because there was deeper meaning behind the little argument that he and his mother had gotten into. If there was, however, Cael had not intended on bringing it up.

And she had come out of NOWHERE! Screeching happily, trying to avoid (unsucessfully, of course) the pouncing Guinivere, Felicity stumbled over herself, tripping and falling flat on her belly. "How- wha- you got me!" she cried with giggles, struggling back to her paws as she took off speedily after Guinivere, catching up with suprising ease. Who knew Felicity was so fast?

"I have a kitten back home. She's pure white, but I called her Mahogany." Lilith sounded proud of herself. She knew very well they were two completely different colors. That's why it was funny.

Lilith perked her ears. Hmm...Yes, there it was again. "Papa's calling me," she said softly, her hands dropping to her side. "He must be on his way back home from town." She turned and took a few steps away from the horse. "Guiinnyy! C'mere! We gotta go!"

Guinivere stopped suddenly, just in front of Felicity. Eh? She frowned. "Aww, looks like I have to go," she said. "We'll have to play again someother time. Next time, you can come to our house!" She dashed off to Lilith's side and pranced around. "Lets go, lets go!"

"Goodbye!" Lilith said, skipping off towards the fence. "I'll see you later, 'k?"

Cael smiled, though it soon melted into a soft frown as Lilith said she needed to leave. Nodding understandingly, the little boy gently pushed away Jasmine's muzzle and walked next to Lilith for a moment.
"Okay! Okay, I'll seeya later too! Bye Lilith!" He called, a bit crestfallen, but happy to see the little girl with her gryph seeming so happy together.

Felicity frowned, though smiled cheerily as Guinivere invited her over next time.
"Bye Guinivere!" she shouted, running after until her Cael called her over.

Solo RP 1 (Log 8 ) 'To Understand You'

Lilith smiled happily as she rubbed Guin's tummy and listened to her chirp happily.

"Aww, so cuuutte, Guinny!" she cooed at the infant gryph.

Guin rolled around on her back. "Yay!" she cried, equelly as excited as her owner. The little white and black gryph was happy to be getting attention from the Lilith girl. Lilith liked to spend lots of time outside running around and with her sister, Lydia. Guin peered up at Lilith and blinked. How the girl was brave enough to go outside as often as she did was beyond Guin. The girl would come back with mud all over her and only the slightest of scratches. The current injury was a long red mark running the length of the humans nose. Probably from climbing a tree. Guin sighed. Her silly, silly human.

"Lilith, how come that boy held your arm, Felicity's owner? I don't like him helping you. Only I can! And Lydia. And Lancelot." She paused. She thought that was all.

Lilith laid on the bed next to Guin, patted around a moment then started scratching between Guin's ears. "You are adorable, aren't you? But my," she said, recalling the previous day. "You have a temper, haven't you? What was wrong with Cael helping me? I know you normally do, but you were busy." She sighed. "I DO like to try to find my own way, but he was just being polite. You know that right?" The blind girl sighed again. "If only you could understand me."

Her human was chatting an awful lot, Guin thought. "You should learn to speak gryph," she said sadly. "I can't understand a word of your strange languge." How had she ever figured out the girls name? Maybe it was because it was the word that was used a lot. You always had to say 'Lilith' to get her attention, after all. Hm. Oh well.

"My darling, tomorrow I think we'll have to work on how you behave around stangers, I think. How's that sound?"

Guin nuzzled down under the comforter and licked at Lilith's hand, then wrinkled her nose. The human had been crawling somewhere very dirty. She smacked her lips together noisily, as Lilith laughed.

"Time for some sleep then?" Lilith asked, pulling the blanket around the two of them. "Goodnight then."

"Sleepy time now!" Guin said, resting her head on Lilith's stomach and yawned. She closed her eyes and soon fell fast asleep.

Log 9
Guin crept along the road, glancing back every now and then. She hadn't told Lancelot she was gonna go up to the wild field, and Lilith was asleep. She hadn't ever been really 'forbidden' to go up there, buuuut, she was pretty sure this was sneaking out and she could get in trouble it she was caught.

She bounced as she reached the field. Oh well! She was here now, and it was time to play!

She sniffed around. Anybody heeerreee?

Mushu was tromping along, rather loudly, as he made his way through the bushes near the streams. He was heading away from the water and towards the field. When he finally got there, he stopped as he saw something bounce.

What was that? Squinting he peered across and saw it again.

"PIG!" he cried out at the top of his lungs.

"Eep!" she called loudly, scurrying towards the red dragon. "HI!" she called, then suddenly stopped just short of him. "Hey! You smell familiar!" She stepped in and nuzzled her head under Mushu's chin. "Oooh, I remember," the little black and white gryph said giggling. "Is that what you were always calling me? Pig?" She pouted. "That's not very nice."

"Hey! Whatchu doin' there?" Mushu pulled away a bit and tilted his head at Guin. "I call you a pig cause that's what you are. I mean. Look at you. No wings and all spotty.. that's gotta be a pig!" he stomped his foot and gave a firm nod of his head.

"Ah would know to. For I am... THE GREAT... MUSHU!"

"W-wings?" She tried to crane her head back so she could see her shoulders. "I..." The little gryph stepped back from Mushu and looked at the ground sadly. "But, but I still look like you, even though I don't have wings." She scrunched her face angrily. "I think I'm much prettier with out them anyway. They make you look dumb." She stuck out her tongue. "And I have a prettier name too. Certainly not as silly as 'Mushu.' It sounds like some sort of food you'd eat."

"Whatever. You're just jealous that you don't get awesome wings like ME." Mushu turned his side and pushed out his, tiny, wings as far as he could.

"Seriously. Check those out. Yah.. now THAT makes a gryph." he nodded, sitting down.

"Hey, besides. Being a pig isn't bad you know. I met this really nice cow once. She liked to bite people though.. but that's another story."

Guin shook her head. Pft, whatever. Knowing him, he was probably talking about a horse or something. She snickered.

"That's a pretty weak wingspan," she said raising an eyebrow skepticlly. "I mean, what's the point of having wings if they're useless?" She smiled thoughtfully. "Well...they make good pillows," she said, recalling when she had nestled between them.

"You know, you seemed nicer when I couldn't understand you."

"Yah well, you seemed less mouthy when you couldn't talk to, you know. Besides, this is just my small form. Obviously I can't show you my true form. It's too great for a mear, wingless creature's eyes." he stuck out his tongue and sat out on the ground.

"What are you doing out here without your giant anyways?"

MEAR?? How dare he? She ruffled her feathers angrily. She had thought he was all nice and stuff, because she had slept with him numerous times, but he was just a jerk.

She blushed a little. "My...my Lilith isn't here. I kind of snuck out. I didn't want to wake her up." She paused. "Because I'm NICE like that."

"No... it's because you didn't want to get caught." Mushu leaned over and chewed at something stuck in his fur. "I bet your giant will wake up and be lookin' for you. Do you even know how to get back to your home?"

Mushu didn't really have anything against the pig, persay. Sure, she was lippy. But she didn't seem to have too much common sense. He could tell by looking at her, that she wasn't made for this sort of place.

Perfectly groomed fur, no snags or anything. Heck, he bet the pads on her feet were hardly calloused at all.

She was lucky it was him that found her, and not some wild critter.

Guin made a small 'humph' noise in the back of her throat. Of course she knew how to get home! She had found her way here, hadn't she?

"Yes, I know how to get back. Why wouldn't I?"

She tilted her head sideways, finally taking Mushu in. "You know, you're much brighter then the other gryphs I've seen. Ellie is all white with a little yellow and Lancelot is brown." She smiled. "But you're all pretty and red and blue. I like it." The little black and white gryph looked at her fur. "Think I'll get anymore color?"

"Maybe. I dunno though. The cow didn't get more colour... but she had funny things on her feet." he shrugged, looking around.

"And yah... no one is as bright as I am." (HAH!) he turned around a bit, to show himself off better.

"And not to mention, look, check this out." he grinned, pointing at his whiskers and horns. "You won't see anything quite like this around here." he preened, puffing himself up.

"Ah am one of a kind."

Guinivere giggled and stood back on her hind legs and half crawled up Mushu's side and licked at the little horns. "Ptthh," she sputtered. Funny taste.

She hopped back quickly. "Oops...sorry...Ahh..."

"Hey!" he whined as she licked them, "they're not some sugarcane you know." he huffed and wrinkled his nose.

Watching her hop back he sighed resignedly and shook his head, "Nah, it's okay. Don't worry about it. Watch." he pushed his head into the grass, cleaning off his horns.

"See? All better. Now. What we gonna do with you here anyways?"

"Nope, they're not tasty enough to be sugarcanes." She paused. "What's a sugarcane?"

She giggled as the red gryph rubbed off his horns. "Aww, it wasn't that bad."

"What are we gonna do? You could always entertain me. How about that?" She smiled cutey.

"Entertain you? Oh. Ah dun think so. No way. Nope. Mushu is not here for your entertainment purposes. Besides, weren't you supposed to be showing me which way your giant lives? Cause, you know. It's gonna be dark soon and you wouldn't want to be here when the grass necks show up..."

Guinivere stuck out her little tongue. "You should be here to entertain me. What else are you good for?" She laughed. "And why would I show you where Lilith lives? You scared her last time." The small gryph giggled. "Good thing she couldn't see you, or she wouldn't have been scared at all. You're so funny lookin'."

Guin wrinkled her nose and tilted her head to the side. "What's a grass neck?"

"Here... to entertain you? I don't think so." Mushu shook his head with a disgusted snort.

"Grassnecks is large, nasty creatures that eat little pigs like yourself." his nose wrinkled up. "They lay in the grass with their grassy necks, then WHAM. They jump out of no where and onto you! Makin' ya a good ol snack."

"Funny lookin'? Whatever piggy. Mushu is out of here, I'm not gonna listen to yer badgerin." With that, he turned his back, flipping his tail up, and wandering off towards the forest.

"Eeek!" the black and white gryph squeaked. "No, wait, come back!" she cried, bounding after him. "I'm sooorrryyyy," she called. "Don't leave me alone!"

She hopped through the long grass, trying to catch the red gryph.

"Hrmph. And why should I bother with you? You come in here actin' like you know it all. Well, maybe you'd be better off on yer own, hrn?" Mushu snorted once again.

"See how well you get around here at night!"

"No, no I wasn't!" She said catching up and tugging at Mushu's tail. "I mean...I wasn't trying to be...I'm sorry if I was..." She pouted, making large puppy dog eyes.

"I can get home just fine, but I wanted to come visit my favorite field gryph!" She grumped behind him.

"Mhmm. Right. I'm sure." he rolled his eyes as she grumped along behind him.

"Well, since you're here, y'mays well come along then." he sighed as his horsefly came flitting along suddenly.

"Cri Kee!" he grinned, "Where y'been?" the Horsefly chirped at him.

"Oh. Yah. It's a pig." he nodded to the horsefly, motioning back to Guin.

"Guin, this is Cri Kee. He's a lucky bug."

"I'm telling the truth! You're my favoritest gryph. Besides my brother." She didn't mention she only knew two other gryphs besides Mushu and Lancelot. She trotted up so she was walking next to him.

"Aww, he's cute!" she said giggling. "Hi Cri Kee!" She looked up to Mushu. "Where'd he come from? I don't think I've seen anything like him before."

"That's because I'm the GREAT Mushu. And I have wings." he retorted then shrugged.

"I've had him for as long as I can remember though. So I dunno exactly where he came from. He just kinda hangs around." the red gryph sat back on his haunches and prodded at the ground.

"Besides, I ain't exactly seen nothing like that giant thing you had with you."

"Yes, your wings are wonderful," she sighed. "When you're bigger and I'm still a little pig, will you fly me around?"

She nodded. "I guess there aren't any of my giants around the field, are there? I dunno, she's always been with me. She raised me and taken care of me. I don't know what I'd do without her."
