[ About Kailey ] Um Hi... I'm Kailey and this is my journal~! Nice to meet you, whoever you are~! Although if you're busy reading through my private journal... Can't be too certain what kind of person you are, huh...
Anyway, here's some things that you might want to know about me! I'm 15 years old, although my birthday's coming up in July! I'll be 16~! And that means I'll be one year closer to greatness!
When I was little, I was homeschooled untill I was in middle school. Then I went Kray on Mt. Mieve untill recently. Now I attend Seara in Grenell! or is it Greinell? Grienall? I'll figure it out eventually...
No matter what though, once I'm done with school, I'm going to start up my own clothing line and EVERYONE will wear my masterpeices! It's going to be so awesome~! <3 I'm going to call it... Kailey wear!
. . .
Ok, so maybe I won't call it that... But what ever it's called... IT WILL BE THE BEST CLOTHING LINE EVER!
And that's really all you need to know about me...
Any cute girls out there reading this? It'd be great if I had a model or an assistant to help me out~! <3 NOTE: Kailey usually writes in violet, but for the sake of color scheme, is using red in the journal.

HISTORY~! Chienism Sorry that it took me so long to get to this. XD; Ty didn't tell me until today. Long, but hopefully interesting and informative. Background Info: Kailey LareinaKailey's parents are Thomas Lareina and Patricia Woodsworth. Thomas and Patricia married each other because they were best friends, not because they were in love. They would rather spend the rest of their lives together with each other than with someone else-- but that does not change the fact that they did not love each other romantically. Thomas is a carpenter and a clock maker (horologist) and Patricia is a painter.
Together they created clocks that were more like modern art. The timepieces sold up to even the hundred-thousands due to their beauty and their uniqueness. They lived more than comfortably by making twelve to seventeen clocks a year. You could say that they were wealthy, though they would deny it. The family was very close, comfortable, and relaxed. Kailey was raised loosely-- but well.
Loosely as in "Kailey wants to take a taste of the wine? Sure why not. He's young right now, so the strong taste will scare him off of alcohol forever. Here you go, dear." And "Let's let him eat as much ice cream as he want. It'll make him sick and he'll never overindulge again." It did make him sick and taught him what limits were. Fortunately for them, he was a good kid that understood the importance of manners and good behavior.
As an only child, he was very well-loved. Home-schooled and raised in a very cheery environment, Kailey finds it hard to understand why people can stay unhappy. It just doesn't make sense to him. "Life is full of so many wonders!" Even though he was home-schooled, he is hardly sheltered or socially awkward. His parents made a point to expose him to the world and people. He spent a lot of his childhood at the park with other children, and at exquisite parties of the social elite (his parents were invited to these events often, not to mention they threw similar parties too). Kailey did not attach very strongly to the children of the park or of the powerful people at the parties, though. He never "clicked" with anyone. Nevertheless, he had lots of fun and made a lot of friends.
Patricia made all of Kailey's clothing by hand. Her second passion was sewing and designing. She also wanted to make sure that Kailey was dressed perfectly. She had a bit of a pet peeve for badly-dressed children. An example of Kailey's "casual" clothes would be a ribbed brown jacket with a metal pin stuck on the left pocket, over a mocha-green t-shirt with a tasteful logo in the middle, which complemented the "distressed" coffee capris, ending with light mocha-green ribbed socks in sleek converses. The outfit was complete when his mother wrapped a fleece scarf around his neck and pulled a loose knot.
He started designing his own clothes and working the sewing machine when he was nine. By ten, he would disagree with his mother on what jacket to wear and choose a different one with surprising-- but fitting-- colors and designs. He started making his own patterns (rather than his mother making them) by eleven, and by thirteen he dressed himself with his own clothes.
By then his fashion sense had evolved to something more "pink," but that's not to say Kailey was not versatile. He liked looking like someone "different" on some days. He switched styles often, and learned how to style his hair to match his cropped shorts, triple-layered shirt, eight-color scarf, and so on. It's not surprising to see him in an entirely different style one day, and something else the next. His hair color is naturally the same brown as his ears. He tries not to dye it often, for he realizes how bad it is for his hair. The color is changed as soon as the dye is completely gone.
His parents released Kailey into the world on his own for a boarding school, where he met November again. The two had noticed each other during middle school but it was always in the company of others, so they had no chance to become more intimate when they were trying to associate with everyone-- because that's fair and normal. (In other words, they were conforming. They're both private individuals, but social at the same time. After they become "best friends forever and ever and ever," they realized that they don't have to spread their affection to everyone just because they were taught that it's right.)
At this boarding school, they bumped heads for two days when they both discovered that they had a crush on the same girl. The crush died immediately after they resolved their differences and realized that they were being silly. Kailey finally "clicked" with someone, and likewise for Novemeber. They have become inseperable ever since.

Moving in?*Knock* *Knock* No answer came from inside the dorm room, and Kailey nervously peered into the key hole. He saw nothing, of course. The hole was far too small, and the room would be almost pitch dark inside. No one was home, so there would obviously be no reason for the lights to be on. He carefully took the room key out of the thin envelope that had been given to him and placed it into the keyhole. Unsurprisingly, it fit and with a turn of the key and doorknob... The door opened. The bunny boy stared at the room for a moment from the hallway. He tightly held onto the handle of one of his trunks. This was followed by a deep inhale and then he entered the room. The room was still a little dark, with really only the light from the hallway to light it up. The windows had been covered up by curtains, which kept the sunlight from entering the room. He was also able to make out the outlines of a bunk bed, as well as two desks and chairs. Kailey carefully pushed in both of his trunks into the room and quickly flipped on the light switch once he'd entered. With the lights now own, he close the door and ran to the window. Kailey rushed to open the curtains and the window, flooding the room with even more light. With that done, he plopped down onto the floor with relief. Now that there was more than enough light in the room, other aspects of the room were made apparent. For instance, the walls were smooth and off-white in color. There were two closets, with individual doors that could open and shut. It was also apparent that the room had been unoccupied. Not that Kailey minded too much. At the very least, it meant that he could set things up however he wanted, for now at any rate. He then quickly pushed his trunks into the closest closet, and after openning one and taking out a journal. He then ran to the lowest bed and leapped into it. After getting two more tiny hops, he laid down on the bed and opened the journal. He grabbed a pencil from out of a pocket, and decided to write. Kailey Well... So far, things are going well! I don't have a room mate. Yet. Not that I'll mind if I do or don't have one. Although, I'd rather not have one.
Unless it's November, of course.
Then it'd be PERFECT! Because November makes things like having to share a room better.
Ummm... Let's see... What else is there...
Oh! Mom said that she wants me to send her and Tom a letter once I arrived, so I'll have to remember to do that later.
For now, though... I think I might take a nap. And then I'll get to work on designing something. Gotta keep on practicing and working if I want to make things perfect~!
Until then...
Later! After a few moments of writing, Kailey looked up at the bottom of the top bunk for a moment. Then he tossed both the book and the pencil away from the bed. Probably not the best thing to do, but Kailey didn't care right now. He was tired, and wanted to nap for the moment.

The Bunny's Musings
Some time had passed since Kailey had moved in, and still there was no sign of a room mate. Perhaps he had lucked out and didn't have one yet; or perhaps he had an incredibly stealthy one, who was nocturnal and could turn invisible on whim. The thought of having such a being as a room mate made him grin.
Such a fantastical person couldn't exist. Well, they could, but it'd be very unlikely that they'd be a student of a private school and share a room with him. No... Someone like that would be far too important to share a dormitory room with the lowly Kailey Lareina who had yet to leave his inevitable mark on the world through his soon to be amazing fashion designs!
Which he would do. Eventually. Once he had the materials again.
It'd been a bit too hard for him to drag a sewing machine and the other things he'd needed from the Old School, so he'd have to locate one on campus here. Or convince his parents to see if they can send one over.
Sure, he COULD hand sew entire garments. But it just wouldn't be professional looking. It'd look as if a fifteen year old had made it. And while that would be the truth; it wouldn't be something that you'd wear around town without SOMEONE gawking at how horrendous the sewing and hem were.
Unless 'Looking like your clothing were made by total amateurs' was a clothing style that was in at the moment (to say the least, it isn't).
He nibbled on his index finger without thinking. He had to come up with some alternative. Maybe he'd be able to find something around town.
At the very least, there'd be a fabric store of some sort. Having just that would be better than nothing.
He nodded to himself. He'd decided what to do next.
He'd go to town and find a fabric store. He'd survey what he already had at hand and plan around that.
But that would have to wait; there was something else that had come up. Something that was soft and chewy and oh-so-delish. With that, he snatched the bag of cookies that he had stowed away earlier and lept onto his bed.
Sugary delight now; World Changing plans would come later.

Journey to the land of Fabric~!
As Kailey had been told a veritable amount of times in his youth, 'The great cities of Tien were not built in a day!' (by an irrate grandparent or babysitter... The exact source elluded him); he was finding out that this could easily been said about Grinell.
While not as big as the capitol city, it was quite easy for him to get lost in the streets. The various store fronts and occaisional vender distracted him, from the small bakery that baked wonderous cookies (he could tell just by sniffing the air!) to the expensize looking shoe store that had even more expensize prices.
Still, he'd get used to it.
Eventually.
All he had to do know was find a fabric store. That was a task that should be simple and easy to do, right? After all, EVERYONE needed clothing. If worse came to worse... He'd use whatever fabric he could find. He just couldn't imagine not being able to work on his beloved hobbie.
Well, it was more than a hobbie, really. it was his life, in a way. There was school, which was important, boring, and importantly boring. This was followed by eatting and sleeping; the classic essentials. After those came the devouring of sweets; a subset of eatting, but important enough to him to mention. Close in with that was socializing, also very important and (rather thankfully) not boring in the slightest.
And then there was fashion.
FASHION.
In comparision to the rest, there really was no competing with it in his life. What had started simply as an interest in what his mother did had gradually begun to take over his life.
Not that he particularly minded, of course. Everyone needs a hobbie; a passion to motivate them through life. It simply endded up with fashion being his.
Of course, these thoughts going through his head had garbled up his thought process. He'd been walking without thought, as he'd been occuppied by the thought of FASHION. But even so, it was a good thing.
Once he had stopped to figure out where he exactly was, he had to stare at the shop that was across the street. The store front seemed to be bathed in a holy light that only Kailey could see. In his long floppy ears, he could hear the sound of the shops name as he said it out loud to himself.
"Sasha's Fabrics"
If there was any name more heavenly than that, he had not heard it yet.
He loudly squeeled with joy. He'd found his utopia, his paradise in Grinell that would save him from the boredom of school and the darkness that came from being forced away from your one true passion!
He was quick to cross the streets and went to open the door to enter. He tugged on the handle once. And then twice. He still couldn't get it open.
All right, so maybe the door was stuck. He could deal with that. He pulled on the door again, to no avail.
It was then that some passerby lightly tapped him on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, but the shop's closed... See?" The person pointed to a sign in the window.
"CLOSED! Come back tommorrow!", it stated in bold black letters.
"Oh..."
