It depends on the series. I recently have watched a couple of series through a friend (thanks again smile ). One of them is DNAngel. I found that I liked it, even though there was alot of romance. I suppose I don't mind romance in a series, with some exceptions ( stressed ). Oh, and Rurouni Kenshin could be considered romance as well, I suppose.

Storm Slayer It depends on the series. I recently have watched a couple of series through a friend (thanks again smile ). One of them is DNAngel. I found that I liked it, even though there was alot of romance. I suppose I don't mind romance in a series, with some exceptions ( stressed ). Oh, and Rurouni Kenshin could be considered romance as well, I suppose. Romance tends to make a plot feel more real. It actually was the main purpose of the Kenshin series and samuri x movies. ^_^

I mean if you look back they're very linked, like for instance look at romeo and juliet. All the killing really happens beacuse the girl is in love with him even though he killed her lover. If anythign I think killing kinda adds to it. ^_^

When looking at it like that, I agree with you that the violence is based around the romance.
