The world is flourishing. Airships in their hundreds are abundant, population in the city of Hiroshi has entered its billions, the trade of the world is amazing. Life has never been better. But then it came. No one quite knows what it is. the world is now in chaos. the people are dying, the cities have started dissapering one by one. There are only four cities left, and they know; its coming. A rebellion against this power has been created, but how can anyone hope to stop something they do not know?

WORLD Hiroshi- this crowded, flourishing city if has a population of over 2 billion people. airships fly and buildings tower over the cloudline. Mikal- this is a quiet city, buried in a massive forest. the population is around 3000 people. the people that live here are wise and know much of the reigons history. Nexus- is the second biggest city next to hiroshi. the population is 700,000 and the main proffesion practised there is smithing and the way of the merchant. Organi- is a city buried far underwater. powers and technology far beyond that of anything else surrounds this submerged city in a cocoon and very little is known about it. the population is also unknown.

(open. you may now post.) zac pulled himself out from under the vehicle he was repairing. he wiped grease off his face and grabbed his wrench, pulling himself back under. this aircar had broken down in the middle of the airways and needless to say, hadnt come out without a few dents. he bolted the new fuel tank into the car and and pulled himselfback out from under the vehicle again. he opened the bonnet and held it up, while giving a few repairs to the engine. "damn. id hate to see the guy driving THIS thing right now." he said, looking over the broken cooling duct and the leaking ionite compressor. the car started spluttering suddenly and he emerged from a plume of smoke looking charcoal. he took off his goggles and wiped them clean on his shirt. "jeez. this is hopeless!" he said and went to grab some more spare parts. "he better pay well for this."

Emily pulled of her apron and threw it over the back of the chair and sat down. She slipped her foot out of the heels that she was wearing and placed them on her lap while she rubbed them. She was exhausted working for eight hours at this pub was no easy work. The only people that come here are the ones she spent her life trying to avoid. Her blonde hair was out of place and her face was flustered. It was 12:00 and her shift was almost over. All she ahd left to do was to clean up the closed shop. She always recieved help from the bartender on night shift, but today he was late.
She left the room barefoot, not wanting to put those heels back on. They were part of the uniform, she ahd to look slender, she ahd to look pretty, she ahd to draw in the crowd. Or thats what the owner told her. There were many bars open in the city of Mikal and the owner of this one wanted to be number one. She, or this is what he ahd told her, was his key. Emily didnt know whether to be flattered or repulsed but she needed money and she needed work, and if he was that desperate an increase in wage was necessary. Ten dollars an hour was suffice and it definately was not worth it. The harassment she took in those long eight hours is more than she had hoped to recieve in a lifetime. Her backside was sometimes black and blue when she shuffled her way into her small apartment at night.
She walked to the door and turned on the security system, then went to the counter and rinsed a small cloth. She then grabbed some cleaner and went to work on the many tables that needed her womanly touch. After an hour of cleaning she shuffled back towards the tables and put everyone of the chairs on top of the tables. She then went in a storage closet and grabbed a mop and bucket. She filled up the bucket carefully and added the right cleaner. She then went to work on the floor.
She finally finished her cleaning and made her way to the abck room that was marked 'employees only' there she fished through the mess of her things for her keys. She held them in her and, slipped on her shoes and jacket, grabbed her purse and apron and made her way towards the front door. She always set the alarm so it would shut off the turn back on in one minute, just enough time for her to get out and lock the door. She shut off the lights, flicked the closed sign on and then set the alarm. She opened the door quickly and locked it, waiting for the beep to indicate that the alarm was reset. She heard it and rechecked the door to make sure it was locked and walked down the dark unlit street towards her small apartment.

Vincent wasn't much of a talker and never really had much to say anyway, but it wasn't his quite silence that made him stand out, but the fact of his movements. He was pretty tall for the average person and he walked very straight up. He wore a unique dark maroon head band and on his left hand a claw shaped gauntlet. His eyes were the deepest red many would see, and yet they were not eyes of hate or evil, but the eyes of a man who has seen to much in his life.
He was sitting on the side of a dark alley at the time, not really wanting to stay in a hotel at that moment. He wasn't poor, in fact he was quite rich, but he never spent much of his money outside of eating. He never really thought of living the high life was the greatest thing he could do, but living as a lower person could ful fill something he had long desired. It was from a mere dream, but it was something he wanted to obtain more then anything. The thing was something he would never say, just mention, and that was what made people wonder.
Vincent looked up at the girl walking towards him, at first his eyes followed her down the path she was taking as his eyes glowed of the dark red that could be seen even in the darkest nights. But then he closed his eyes as he placed his right hand on the gu at his side, he had learned long ago never trust someone who willingly walks down the dangerous paths.

The night air was a little cold and Emily stopped to tighten her light jacket around herself. She wished she didnt have to work so late. Walking alone on dark streets just gave her the creeps, 'thats what you get for watching to many scary movies' she replied to herself.
Her heels clicked loudly in her ears as she kept walking towards the alleyway. She did not like walking here but it was quicker to her apartment, it was just about on the other side of it. She hesitated a second, a weird sensation filled her. She could have laughed out loud but she could have sworn it was the feeling that someone was watching her. Shaking the feeling away to the back of her mind, she concentrated on her big fluffy bed that was waiting for her when she walked through the door to her apartment.
She wasnt sure, at first, but as she approached closer it looked like there was a man leaning against the wall of the alleyway. Her heart started to race, she could not imagine why there was someone out this late. She moved to the farther side of the alleyway to get as far away as possible. She could not put her finger on it, but something about him was different. 'Just keep going, your almost there, walk by him, and be done with it' She told herself.
She was almost in front of him now, he stood so far in the shadows she could barely make out what he looked like, his age, or anything. She wanted to do just the same. Attempting not to be seen was impossible because of the loud clicking of her heels giving away her position. She cursed at them silently and put her head down, not staring, not even giving any signs that she had seen him.

Vincent let go of his weapon on his side as he stood from where he sat and began to walk the way the girl had come from. He kept his eyes closed as he listened to the sounds around him and he carefully avoided the small amounts of trash that followed on the ground. He lifted his left hand which cared a guantlet on it and began to scratch the wall making a loud noise and along with that began making a deep mark into the side of the brick wall.
His faced straight forward, but he was listening carefully to the girl behind him, it seemed he was still unsure of her even still. Never trust anyone was something that constantly came through his mind, but that very statement left his heart as cold as his arts.
He turned the corner and found the bar he was told to meet a girl. It was closed, the lights were out and it seemed that there was a security system that protected the building. He took his gloved right hand and removed the leather from his hand exposing his skin as he placed his hand upon the door knob. It was warm, and showed that the girl he was ment to meet had possibly just recently left. He let go and placed his fingers back into his glove and turned away from the door as he noticed that the bar would open in a few hours later from now. He took his head and looked above the bar and noticed that it wasn't that high, so he decided to wait on the roof rather then on the streets. He jumped from where he stood and grabbed onto the ledge of the roof and pulled himself up. He leaned his back against one of the corners and simply began to dose off with his ears hearing strikingly with the movements around him.

Emily's breath became heavy as the man walked by her. When he didnt stop ir seem to notice her relief flooded her body and she was able to relax. Until the shivers drove up her back from the noise the man was creating. Freaked out she turned around to see what he was doing. Doing so, she noticed the indents along the brick wall and the weird object clutched in his hand. She shivered and turned towards the end of the alleyway picking up speed quickly.
She slammed the door tightly behind her as she locked the door to her apartment. he kicked off her shoes, and took off her coat. She went to her bedroom and changed into some more comfortable pair of clothes. Her pajamas, which consisted of shorts and a tank top that were blue and warm. She plunked herself on her bed, falling asleep instantly, not even having time to brush her teeth or take off her makeup.
Even though she had settled down from her encounter with the man earlier, he was not toally gone from her thoughts. All night she could hear the faint scratching of the object in his hand scratching at the brick wall, and the seemingly odd vibe she got from him, also the way he stood and way he brushed by her, it stuck with her and haunted her dreams.

Vincent layed against the edge of the corner as he began to twitch the fingers on his left hand. The gauntlet on his arm made a small sound as the steel scrapped against itself showing how strong the metal trully was. His eyes were still closed as he tried to sleep, but only restlessness followed. He stopped and began to feel the sun began to rise for the new morning, it was the sunrise that made him open his eyes as they glowed a bright dark red until the suns rays directly pierced his eyes.
He turned away from the light with his hand starting to calm from his fitchiting body. It was only the begining of the day and already he felt the uneasy air swallow the area around him. It would seem he would have to find a darker place then the roof to fall asleep.
He trailed over towards the air conditioning generator and removed his right handed leather glove to place the palm of his hand on it. He kept it there and on the generator it could be seen that it began to nearly freeze over as flakes of ice spread from where Vincent's hand was. The inside of the bar began to become cooler by the second till it finally froze the security system to a halt. From this moment anyone could now enter the door, as long as they could get through the lock. Then again Vincent wasn't a lock-picker so he entered the building through the air vent and landed on the ground with no alarming the system. He was now inside the bar.
He walked over to one of the chairs and pulled it down to the ground where he sat down and removed his gauntlet from his left hand, the pistol at his side, and the hidden sword on his back onto the table. There he leaned his head back and began to feel the temp. rise inside the bar to where the alarm began to function again. He kept still and dove off into his sleep.

Emmily woke early, her body weak and weary from lack of sleep. Why did that man bug her so much? She had to roll out of bed, to get up, becasue her body was not yet awake, but if she didnt get up now she would be late. She hated closing nights then opening in the mornings. 'Who would want to drink at nine in the morning?' She thought as she lookeda t the clock seeing 7:00 in big red letters. She sighed and clambered out into the kitchen.
She looked for a box of cereal, anything at all to eat, but she had forgotten to buy groceries, well she didnt have time too. She sighed once again, and resorted to some leftovers in the fridge. She heated them up in the microwave, and sat down and ate quietly. After showering and getting ready for work she was done by eight thirty. She locked the apartment door and left for the bar.
She made her way quietly still half asleep to the alleyway. She froze, and looked quickly, but noone was there. Emily expected relief to fill her but instead she was met with disappointment. Like she wanted to see him again. She told herself she was just curious.
The bar was dark as it should of been, and she unlocked the door. Instantly the alarm went off, but this was what happened every day. She quickly opened the door and set it so that the alarm started ringing, becasue of the hassle with the alarm she did not see the man sitting in the corner of the bar. She locked the door, knowing that the bar did not open for another fifteen minutes. Again the bartender was late, no surprise there, he never seemed to show up at the right time. She walked to the counter and set everything up for him, so that he would be ready the minute he walked in the door.
Emily walked into the employees only room, still not noticing the man, she was elsewhere, kind of daydreaming not paying attention to what was around, becasue nothing should be around. She left her coat and purse in the room as she always did and sat down to readjust her uncomfortable heels.

Vincent had layed down in a completly motionless state for a small time, but having a unique form of insomnia he was still consious. Over that small time that he had laid there he was just trying to conserve the energy that seemed to overly envelope his body. Maybe it was that which kept him into his insomniatic state, but even still his body was beginning to shut down completly after having no sleep for nearly five days, and it would seem this night would be his limit.
Vincent had his clothes on, but his arm guards and weapons were sprawled out on the table like trophies on a landing. Then the door made a sound as the girl from the night before began to unlock and open the door. He grabbed his gauntlet from the table and placed it back on and placed his gun in the holster with his sword swung it into his back. He sat still with his eyes wide open filled with the glowing redness from before, but as she walked acrossed the bar she had no notice of him. Maybe it wasn't her, maybe it just wasn't.
Vincent stood from his chair and walked over to the alarm, he thought in his mind, 'such a simple tool, but still so much is dependent on it. Maybe that is how life is suppose to be, the belief of being safe not really being safe.'
He turned over towards where the employee lounge was, and she still had no idea that he was there. His thoughts flew through his mind like birds in the wind as each question became clear, but still unanswered inside of himself. He walked up towards the doorway, making no sounds until he grabbed onto his pistol. He took his gauntlet and slammed it into the side of the doorway and pulled out his pistol and watched as her face stared directly into the barrel of the gun.
His mouth was shut and no words were going to come from it. He just gave a serious expression of displeasement.
