Is there really going to be a final fantasy XIII?

if you google it then it shows up with some information... but it's all in japanese.

Yup. It's coming out for the PS3, features some pink-haired chick who totally kicks a**. I saw a trailer for it and there were a lot of train scenes, but they were uber-futuristic trains.

Yes, and there will be five spin-offs to it; only three have been named so far: FFXIII(PS3), FFAgito XIII(Mobile), FFVersusXIII(PS3), FFHerasisXIII(???)

None of them have the same storyline or characters, but they will all share the same mythology. The final game is supposed to be one in which of them meet for the first time in a final confrontation. Check it out on Wikipedia
