I guess we should get to work... This is NOT ninja work...I wonder what type of plants those are? Better not pick them...these are weeds, I think. Where is the rest of the team?

Tegatus nodded at Sunikra. "Yeah... That would be a good idea. But, which of these plants are weeds?" She looked up at Tenjou questioningly as her hand moved from plant to plant. It would hover over one and then move to another.
Tenjou pointed to a few of the different plants. "Those, this, that and these." Pointing to her feet she said. "Put anything and everything you pick here."

Rae looked around the garden, furling his brow. "So.. we couldn't have done this when there was less snow on the ground and the flowers were blooming..? Or.. something?" He murmered, shaking his head. He bent down and shifted between plant to plant. "Grr.." He finally found one that he knew HAD to be a weed.. maybe.. and pulled it up, bringing it over to Tenjou.

Tegatus also picked a plant that she thought would be a weed. "I think I have one as well, and Rae, we shouldn't complain about the conditons, we should just hope it doesn't start to rain soon." She handed the plant to Tenjou. "Is that a weed? It's one of the ones you pointed out."
Tenjou took Rae's plant and looked it over. She tossed it in a basket marked 'Weeds' and nodded to Rae. "Good job, keep up the good work. Now, Tegatus, this is a weed as well. Good job!" She tossed it in the one marked 'Weeds' as well.

Rae sighed in relief, and turned to grab another weed. He didn't look until it was too late, and had to quickly shift his footing so he wouldn't step on a plant. Well, from the quick movement, he got tripped up by the snow, and started to fall. He kicked off on an open patch of ground, and got just enough speed so that he wouldn't crush the plants. The effect of THAT was landing face first in the snow.
An audible grumble came from his buried head, and without getting up, he plucked the weed he had been going for.
This is WAY harder then it should be...

Tegatus giggled at Rae fell and went over to him, plucking a nearby weed as she did so. "You OK? I hope you didn't crush any of the plants!" She looked at him accusingly.

Rae, are you alright? It would be very sad if you got injured in our first mission...Hm, this weed smells nice...are we sure this is a weed? I'm not even any use here...if I'm not use picking weeds then, how good will I be later on...? I shouldn't have even tried...But, if I don't try...I can't be good enough to learn how to get revenge. After all, if I quit now, I can't learn the one jutsu I want...

Rae sat up, grumbling. "If I crushed a SINGLE flower..." He said, standing up, and looking around him. Well, he didn't smash any plants, at least... "Well, I guess the only thing smashed is my pride." He said, looking at the plant he had pulled up. It... DID... smell very nice... "...I'm fine, but if this IS a flower, I don't think IT is..."

Tegatus giggled at Rae's words. "I hope you didn't smash all of it, it takes alot of skill to miss all those plants." She then bent down and picked a few more plants and brought them over to Tenjou who was rolling her eyes at thm.
Tenjou looked at their plants. "Sunikra, yours is a flower put in the the flower basket. Rae, you have a weed. Tegatus, those two are weeds but, that one is a flower."

Rae sighed in relief and dropped the weed in the coresponding basket. "Yeah, but it also takes a lot of bad luck to get into the position where I'd NEED to avoid smashing all those plants." He said, looking around the garden. "Hm.. can anyone feel or see what the roots look like without having to dig them up?"

It's too bad we can't just do something more like clear-cutting. *sigh* I wonder if I could freeze the roots so we could just break them out and be done... *freezing jutsu* Oh...the weeds froze solid..... Crap. This stinks. I can't get just the roots..no...because my aim is pathetic. Oh, well. I guess I'll just have to hope that the weeds pull out when they're frozen, too....

Tegatus wiped her sweaty brow with the back of a dirty hand and sighed, smiling as she spoke. "Well, I think that's it." She stood up and surveyed the fruits of there labor and turned to look at Tenjou. "Sensei, what should we do now?"
Tenjou stood up a smiled. "Sunikra, take in the baskets and ask Mrs. Gardinia what she wants us to do with them. The rest of you can start to pack up to leave."

Rae took a deep breath, slinging his pack over his shoulder. He was already 'packed up,' since he hadn't needed any of the equipment he brought. He looked up at the sky, and grimaced. Yeah, it was definately gonna rain.. and the snow would get all sticky and slushy.

"We have to get to the Academy, ASAP. I'll meet you all there." WIth that she dissappeared, headed for the Academy.
Tegatus nodded and waved to the others. "Come on, this sounds urgent! We should get going as soon as we can!"
