Personally, I'm looking forward to the Nintendo Wii the most. I can't wait til it comes out! I wasn't ever really into Xbox, and the Playstation 3 is going to be the most expensive, so... I can't wait to play Zelda: Twilight Princess on it! I'm also highly anticipating Super Smash Bros. Brawl! rofl

Zelda is for GC for sure, dunno about the WII. (On which it's such a stupid name for a console)
I'm anxious for the PS3. I have both ps1 and ps2 games, so why not have a double backwards compatable system? (not to mention it will be more stable then the 360 with it's glitches and disk scratching)

I don't particularly care for the name either. But my brother made a good point. Even though it's a dumb name to most people, it will probably seem more appealing to a lot of non-gamers as well. "Wii" isn't as technical sounding. Besides the fact that many gamers in general will want it, not only for the new games, but for the new downloading aspect of it as well. Whereas the Playstation 3 will probably only reel in the already gamers. Mostly people who have played it's past systems will be interested.
But yeah, the 360 was quite a disappointment to people. Although, I hear that when they're released, the "Wii" will be the cheapest. I mean, out of the next-gen systems.

Wii is the cheapest in sense of just the console itself, but from what i hear, you have to pay each game individually to download, so thats more money to spend. (like a MMORPG with monthly fees) What the Wii has over the other consoles though is that you will have litterally EVERY nintendo game to choose from (good for oldtimers that know muchly about NES games) Though I'm sure theres going to problems to work out with that vibrator new style controller of theirs. rolleyes

What intrest me about the Wii is the controller...not including the old games because some of the have grown rather expensive...the controller either looks like it will make things difficult or really fun. For instance Super Smash Brothers Brawl...It will be interesting as to how everything works out...but maybe they will let you use game cube controllers...which might possibly take a little fun out of it...well...I pretty mch don't know what I'm talking about now...so I will stop.

Chances are they will have some type of optional "standard" controller model available as well. After all, not all gamers are careful with the equiptment, or have steady hands.

Although I'm really enticed by the games the 360 is getting (gears of war, mass effect, lost planet...it goes on and, wow!!) I'm getting a wii. It's the right price and, despit it's flaws, just the fact that it's so innovative makes me want to get one. Besides, my bro's going for the 360, so I'm a happy camper!!

there letting you download every nintendo game on the WII!?!?1 DUDE!!! that is the best thing i have heard in a long time! (not that it matters to me since i won't be able to affore the system much less the rest of the stuff required to get them...)
but that would be awsome!!! if you could get ocarina of time (which would be the only game that i would worry about size on) then you could get every zelda game made on one system!!!! (i was fantasizing about just that thing today... )
if you can't tell i am a BIG zelda fan!

Yeah, apparently you can down load a little bit of something on every system thus far. In fact in Game Informer they did a study on which system you can safetly download things, and not get ripped off if something bad were to happen to your system. However, what made me annoyed about the PS3 is this...to actually get 100% in some of there games you have to download things. Problem is each download thing cost about 5 dollars and with the games being so big it would cost 100 + to get everything.
