Caramon would win.
As we've seen in "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" when they went up against Verminaard, Everybody went straight to attack. Sturm, being an idiot, decided to Give a ceremonial Salute to Verminard who easily took advantage of the opening.
Caramon, as much of a lummox as he is, would never have done that. He's like Goku from DBZ... nicest guy ever, but a bad a** in combat.
Actually I do believe that in "The Soulforge" they do fight. Raistlin instigates the situation, and the 2 start fighting. Flint kicks both of their asses.
So in "Caramon vs. Sturm", Flint Fireforge is the clear victor.

As with many of these things I think it probably depends on the situation. Early on in the chronicals I think it would be Sturm, but by the time we get to Ledgends (when Sturm is dead... making the job easier but let's pretend he isn't in this case) I think Caramon, as he's had a bit more training and toughened up a little.
So yes, I think Caramon but I wouldn't underestimate Sturm either.

I'm going to be different and say Sturm, at least if it was combat with swords. If it was bare-handed I'd say Caramon, but Sturm is a much better swordsman, I believe.

At the end of "Amber and Iron" there is a sample chapter from Dark Chronicles I "Dragons of Dwarven Depths"
It takes place between Autumn Twilight and Winter Night and explains how they recover the Hammer of Kharas for the Dwarven Thanes.

I'm gonna say Caramon because he just plain kicked butt during the Twins books when he was a captive and had to fight in tournaments to survive. *coughrunonsentencecough* Plus he's the brother of Raistlin.. so you have to give him kudos for that. lol.

But Sturm had a cooler death..Impaled by a Dragon Rider ((Kittiara I think..Cant remember that well)), and falling off a tower.
I thought they'd give Caramon a cooler death.

The only thing that could ever cause those two to fight would be over Raistlin. In which Caramon would win because he would be so mad that Sturm would not stand a chance. Caramon would win by pure brute force.
