Hey guys. For a couple days starting tomorrow, I'm heading off to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Anything you guys want any pictures of?

Vandalize that ******** worthless piece of s**t and take some pictures of THAT. xp ....okay, okay, fine, at least put a "ADD JUDAS PRIEST!" or "ADD BLACK SABBATH!" tag somewhere. >_>

<_<

They nominate a ******** rap group yet refuse to nominate Sabbath. Assholes.

Well...if you find anything cool in general, take a picture of that. 3nodding

I was just wondering if Sabbath or Priest were in there.. I remember reading an article on how Black Sabbath practically invented metal, but they still haven't made it in. Is Lynyrd Skynyrd in there? For some reason I remember them being nominated this year but not making it. Un. Be. Lieveable.

I don't like the Hall of Fame very much at all. Any place that hasn't added The Ventures and Black Sabbath, yet is currently adding U2 and The Pretenders, can't be very cool at all. Oh well, i might go see it someday.

Eh, there are better southern rock bands to make it, so oh well. I wonder if the ABB is in there yet...if not, they should be. Oh, and King Crimson...among SO many others that won't make it there, yet deserve to.

I saw some stuff on display for both of them, but I don't know if any of them have actually been inducted yet.

ABB has been inducted, now that I check my book. Not sure about KC, though.

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum. Bummer.

Requirements for induction- must be 25 years since the artist's first album was released, must receive at least 50% of the votes, and only 5 to 7 artists are inducted each year.

and 4. The artist must not be a truly great artist who is influential if they are not well known to the mainstream, or are a metal band. Hence, King Crimson, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, etc, etc. missing.

xd I don't know what's up with Black Sabbath. They've been around forever, and are quite deserving. I think we need more metal fans to be on the committee.

They've been nominated several times, however, they're too busy voting on letting in some ********' loser bands in instead of Black Sabbath. However, there's apparently a rule that states that if you're nominated a certain amount of times (6 or 8, I can't recall which) you're automatically inducted without a further vote, and Sabbath are apparently nearing that mark.

Sweet. I'd rather be voted in then getting in by default, though. Better than nothing, I guess.

Tranquil- maybe you'll be there while the Tommy exhibit is still on display. Man, I was so mad when I found out it was opening just a week or two after we left. Two floors were closed down while we were there, so it only took us a day to go through everything.

Tommy is one of the earliest and most important rock operas ever. It was created and performed by The Who. It was about a disabled kid who gets abused a bunch as a child but becomes a great spiritual leader later. Just thougt you might want to know, even months after you asked. smile
