Does anyone think that they should have a sequel series (like 50 episodes) type of ending to Destiny? (other than Stargazer) Or, any ideas for what would be a cool plot line?
*preferablly one where cagalli and athrun get back together sweatdrop

o0oh yes definitely there should be a third series ^^ where say...kira and lacus retire to the PLANTS, and everyone is peaceful...until someone tries to assasinate someone...cagalli? and fails. then this whole investigation goes underway and athrun must save cagalli from the next assasination attempts. meanwhile, the EA have regrouped without ORB and intend to start another war against ZAFT. oh dear, that sounds like a very corny storyline ^^"

So, you are taking what happened in Destiny with Kira and Lacus, adding some more action and romance, and creating it into an Athrun and Cagalli love story? I guess I could see that.
But what I would really like to see from SEED is not another series... well, idk if they already have this, but SEED needs to make some movies. Like Inuyasha and Naruto... I've heard about some movies, but others say the movies are just the episodes.

I agree. If the series turns out like Destiny, I will NOT watch another SEED series at all. I was determined not to watch anything after Destiny for a while before, too...
Yeah, angel - that did sound a little too much like Destiny...

It was a good try, though! But either way, I think I could go for a story completely devoted to Athrun and Cagalli. Yummy, that sounds too delicous for words! blaugh

It sounds too surreal. I personally wouldn't like that, because everything would be unbalanced. AsuCaga has to have some difficulties, not like the junk they gave us for obstacles like in Destiny...

I'd like to see a sequel where some of the more underrated characters are more involved, and of course, AsuCag and the other usual pairings.
And yeah, the SEED movies are just the episodes with extra footage. The three movies are the special edition of the SEED series.

Personally, if they were to do a third series, they should focus it on Orb. SEED was mainly about the EAF, up until the end though. Destiny was mostly about ZAFT and some of Orb.
My scenario:
It's yet another two years after the last Bloody Valentine War (if it's even called that, don't remember) and the world is at a standstill. No, wait, lets make it four years this time.
Okay, four years and the world seems to be looking forward to a promising peace between the Naturals and the Coordinators thanks to Representative Attha and Chairman Clyne. The inhabitants of PLANTS wait for the arrival of Representative Attha who will be attending the annual Peace Conference Festival in December City. However, when her shuttle arrives, she isn't found on it. The word spreads quickly about the missing Representative and rumors start spreading about her demise. But who would kill her? Some say it was someone from within the Orb Kingdom itself. Kira goes to invesitgate and the clues lead him to the soils of a newly formed nation that Representative Attha and Chairman Lacus worked together to build. A nation where an old friend, Athrun Zala, resides under a new alias. Kira suspects something. Athrun is with-holding the truth. Lacus's life might be in danger as well. Kids are running and screaming along together in the memorial parks located in every PLANT in space, enjoying themselves and the glory of living together in peace until explosions erupt in every desolated location. Someone is out for revenge, but who?
Hmm...maybe not.

I'm ready to re-write the ending of Destiny, myself, if that's what we're about. The ending I have in mind would involve Shinn actually getting a clue before the last episode.
I don't think I could stand watching another 50 episode SEED series; it was torture enough watching Athrun and Cagalli suffer in Destiny.

I half expected Shinn to die at the end of Destiny, but he never did. So, in my next series, Shinn will die.

i think we should create a thread that will dictate the third gundam seed series. we get to make it and discuss it. all we need to agree on is a basic storyline. then on another thread, we can do the storyboard and/or script of each episode, each person writing up a summary of an episode and perhaps go into details where ever they want.

i'd write a third series along the exact storyline Cagalli created. in it, i'll make sure Athrun and Cagalli have plenty of adventures together, and eventually become a couple again. i'll also make sure that Kira and Lacus kiss and have a happy ending, and that Shinn is fighting alongside Kira now. ^^" I like having it this way because I do not want any more main characters to die...

I read something the other day about an OVA movie to occur after Destiny, to wrap things up. I can't find anything else on it anywhere though, so it could have been just speculation. I found it on a site that said Stargazer would premier online next month; is there any truth to that?
