Grunts and cat calls followed Myth down the long, crowded hall as she made her way to the lists. After almost a week of beating contenders senseless and bloody she had made her way to the top of the lists, along with some dark elf from Throlandrir. She remembered watching him fight through the week long tournament. He was quick and agile, and surprisingly strong for a guy on the scrawny side. As somewhat of a veteran he was a crowd favorite and she knew better than to underestimate the guy.

From behind Myth could practically hear the guy drooling and caught his hand as he tried to grab her a**. There was a sick wet sound as all the bones in the fools hand and fingers splintered and popped in all the wrong directions. He fell to his knees screaming when Myth pulled his arm out of socket and kicked him face first into the wall.

Myth sighed and shook her head as she scowled at the sobbing hulk and cracked her knuckles. The crowd was waiting for the main event. The sword finals were the biggest and most popular melee in the entire tourney. Myth turned and strode down the quiet hall to the field.

Kobaar stepped onto the arena grounds while waving towards the spectators and shooting a quick wink to the cute girls in the front row as the stands exploded with excitement. It had been a long while since he last did fighting tornament thing, usually it was more exciting to travel across the continent thrashing orcs and bandits along the way rathar than going through a bunch of guys who claimed to be a lot stronger than they actually were. But this year seemed to have something going on that attracted him back to it once again, plus it was always a quick and easy way to get some extra cash to expand his weapon collection.

The other finalist finally entered onto the grounds, drawing her own wave of cheers. Kobaar already knew this would be a good fight as he couldn't hold back a grin of pure excitement from his face, or at least a lot more interesting than the ones before which ended much to quickly for his interest. But hee knew that if he didn't stay on his toes the fight might end before he could get a good workout., the elvan woman tore through her opponents just as quickly, or quicker at sometimes.

The two finally approached the center of the arena as the Announcer gave them both a quick nod as he darted off towards the stands as to not get cought up in the oncomming turmoil. With a quick twirl from his shoulder his blade swept thr ground and back up in front placing him in a ready stance. "Now...don't cry if you lose." Kobaar said in a half joking manner. He wasn't about to underestimate her, but he sure as hell wasn't planning on losing.

Her speed almost took him by suprise. Almost. She moved much faster than she did with her other opponents, but not so much that he was completely off guard. It was almst instanious as she rushed within range striking at his midsection only to have her blade meet with his own. The two metals clashed sending a flury of sparks into the air as the two stood thier grounds as metal grinded against metal in hopes that the other would give. "Well then, to preserve the well being of the guys downstairs, this is me getting serious."

"Fight? Oh, I thought you were still screwing around!" He grinned as he continued his volly of slashes. It had been a whie since he had actually enjoyed a fight like this. She was able to keep up with his attacks and aparently addept fairly quickly. Kobaar felt a swift kick nail him in his side causing him to stumble slightly, just enough for the woman follow up with another slash. He was able to dodge the first and block the second. "HA! Now that's more like it!" Parrying off her counter he returned to his offensive which she continued to dodge or block with amazing skill. She obviously had the advantage in speed and dexterity but that wouldn't be the first time he had faced such an opponent, ad he certianly wouldn't let that get the better of him. His slashes increased in thier intensity suddenly as he unleashed a strong barage of slashes against his opponent turning the tables slightly. Seeing an opportunity he followed his ending swing with a swift leg sweep.

Kobaar couldn't help but laugh at the womans comment. He hadn't had this much fun since he fought the two headed giant with a gatling gun and double schitzophrenia (sp?). "Heh, enough sandbaggin I guess. I'll make sure to send you some nice flowers after this is over."

Kobaar readied his sword at his side with a firm grip. You could actually see the air around the blade like heat waves from the ground on a hot summers day as the steel's tone turned white hot and suddenly burst into a wild flame. "Now...let's give the audiance thier moneys worth." he smirked as he cleaved part of the earth as he brought his sword upward with a force sending a wheel of flames spiraling towards the woman.

Ice? ICE?! What a perfect matchup. Next thing you'll know she'll grow extra arms and quad weild claymores. But at this point Kobaar wouldn't put anything past her.

"Best? I have only begun to fight!" He unleashed another wave of flame towards her. Followed by another, and finally a third which he trailed close behind. The heat it emited was intense, but to kobaar it felt more like a summers breaze. As he followed, his sword still kept it's flame only becomming much more intense as he approached his target.

The wheeles of fire collided with the oncoming ice explooding into a thick fog uppon impact shrouding Kobaar as he dashed forward onto the icey path. One loud obscenity later and the dark elf was on his a** slidding towards the already charging female. "Typical ice elementals...but it's going to take more than an ice skating rink to get the best of me!" With his sword still ablaze while he was still sliding he jabbed it deep past the ice into the earth, but with his current momentum while still gripping the hilt caused his body wo whiplash around the area before he could catch his footing. It was only a moment till he could recover but that was all it took for the challenger to be almost on top of him with her blade drawn and ready while his was still implanted into the ground. Abandoning his sword and fighting her barehanded was out of the question, as well as pulling it out and shifting into an attack or defence since that would be to time consuming the only option was to do everything in one swift motion. The heat from his sword had already mealted much of the ice in that area so Kobaar was able to gain a sturdy footing as he steped towirds his attacker griping his sword with all his might and cleaved through the earth towards her sending dirt and flame in her general direction.

"I dislike going all out when I don't have to, when that happens people get unecessarily hurt. Besides, who shows all of thier good tricks before the grand finalle?" She did have a point however. Prolonging this fight would end with either one of them reaching thier limit and being at the others mercy. He was aleady surrounded in all directions by ice and her dodging ability faired well with his attacks making her a hard target, not to mention she could cancel all of his flame attacks as well, so the best option would be at this point would be to level the playing field first.

As if mimicing her earlier tactic, Kobaar raised his sword preparing to plant it in the ground once again. Runes shone along the steel as the flames momentarily spun around his body into his sword. With that he plunged it into the earth once again. "Time for round two." after his muttering there was but a moment of silence until a slight rumbling could be heard from underneeth his feet as he was engulfed in a pillar of flame reaching high into the sky. Moreso it's diameter rapidly increased spreading itself from the center evaporating any ice in it's path.
