FFVII is my favorite game to date. I played almost all the ones before that and VII still takes the cake for me. I just love that storyline, plot-hole riddled as it is.
After that, Id have to say Chrono Cross and the Zelda Series.

FFTactics is a great game. Much better than TacticsAdvance due to its god-forsaken Law system.
I also saw Prince of Persia and KH in CKs post as well and those games friggen rule!

I always released the reverse too soon. It sucked cause I died sooooooo many times. And the part at the end when you dont have the dagger....ugh...I died at least 30 times during that part.
