Name: Jason Tam
Age: 19
Appearance: Short dark brown hair with blue eyes, and around River's height. Athletic build like a distance runner.
Bio: Was tricked into going to the same academy as River and was tested on just like River, but not as hard by a touch. My parents knew the Tam's for their whole life's and grew up with River and Simon. Although we have the same last name, we are not family related.
Weapons: Anything, especially my mind.
Skill/Jobs: A reader.

Name: Ai-Ling Kong
Age: 24
Appearance: Ai-Ling has a lot of Chinese background in her history (though it doesn't matter now). Her skin is pretty pale. Her height: around 5'5'' so a medium height. She's pretty skinny, at about 110 pounds, but has a nice weight. Her eyes are the one thing that is different from her Chinese background: they're a soft blue. Her hair is black and runs just past her shoulders, though she generally puts her hair up in a bun of some sort.

Bio: Ai-Ling is very peaceful. She'd never actually fight in a battle, because she hates war. Generally she is very quiet, almost to the extent of being rude, and people make fun of this often. Unless the topic goes to something she is very passionate about, Ai-Ling may not talk much at all. She has a fierce love for life, and despises killing. That's why she decided to become a doctor.

History: Ai-Ling was one of the people who lived on the planet of Greenleaf. She grew up with her parents and her younger sister Ming-Ren. Ming-Ren and Ai-Ling were very close, as siblings go. Her mother was a chef, her father a doctor. The family supported the browncoats, and wanted very much to just live in peace. Then, the Alliance came to Greenleaf. They needed field medics, to work during the war. Since none of the proper Core doctors wanted to get their hands dirty, they went to Greenleaf, because it has the best medical facilities outside of the core. Her father refused, but had no choice in the matter. Ai-Ling was 15 at the time. One of the recruiters saw her medical promise, and offered to find her a spot at a medacad on Ariel in a few years when she was old enough (they needed the best field medics) which his father owned. At first she refused, but this was her dream and she didn't know if her father would be coming back.

Life at the medacad was tough for Ai-Ling. Since she grew up on Greenleaf, she had trouble adjusting. Though she stayed in the dorms, this fancy lifestyle wasn't for her. Friends were rare, and they wanted something (like cheating). Ai-Ling graduated at the top of her class. In the middle of her 3rd year, she got the message that her father had died. Ai-Ling was close to her father, so this was difficult. This is one of the reasons for her quietness. Ai-Ling returned home after graduation, where things had grown difficult for her mother and Ming-Ren. Ai-Ling set out to get a job as a doctor, so that she could help her mother and sister.

She's not the easiest person to get to know, but when you do she is very kind. Ai-Ling is a pacifist.

Weapons: None. Though she always says to never mess with a doctor, because next time you are under and need surgery, she can mess up your organs. She has a variety of smoothers and tranquilizers, though

Age: 17
Appearance: Brown short hair and blue eyes like Jayne and petite, but is still fairly strong. Around 5"8 in height and pretty with a slightly tanned but clear complexion(spelling)
Bio: Lived with my Ma till i was 17, on one of the rim planets, educated better then the rest of my brothers, but don't like to show it off. For the past couple of months, ive been getting odd jobs here and there, trying to stay afloat, though i've been looking for a ship to take a job on, guess i found one.
Weapons: Simple Shot-gun, i call him, Sean and a 6 inch blade i kept hidden in my boots. Though i have many more with my stuff.
Skill/Jobs: Hands on combat, the one they never suspect to be able to fight.
Connection to people on Serenity: My big brother is Jayne Cobb, haven't has a letter from him in a while, but i still love him.

Name:Alexandra Fox

Age: 25

Appearance: Long red hair pulled back, slightly tan, brown coat, black pants, tank tops and combat boots


Bio: Alexandra grew up like must people on the outer moons.She got just enough schoolin' to get by. At the age of 16 she joined up with the independents and fought for several years. Upon returning home 4 years later she found her home, her entire town and everyone she cared about ravaged by reavers. She left and started a new life for herself working odd jobs. Alexandra spent several months under the hire of niska but left because she found the work to unsavory. She did mercenary work and bounced from ship to ship looking for a place to make home.

Weapons: shotgun, simple but gets the job done

Connection to people on Serenity: Alexandra met Malcolm and Zoe a few times during the war. She later did a couple jobs with them and was briefly romantically linked to jayne (very briefly, it gets lonely in space).

Bio: A rich play boy who has inherited all his money. He used to employ outlaws with jobs that he accompanied them with. He is now tired of just staying with a ship for one mission and is now searching for a crew that he can stay with for good, or at least a decade or two.
