what did you think about ep 3? good? bad? let us compare and contrast.

I have acctually tried a little of it, and I have to say, it wasn't as bad as I thought. The menu screens annoyed me a lot, and putting together a deck takes time. But the battles are really fun and incorperate a lot of strategy in every move. I give it a 6.5/10.

I've played the game through the Hunters side, and I didn't like very much of it. The new menu's are great, and the new music is great too. But I thought the battles weren't very fun, and I hated having to use pre-made characters. Plus, it seems like the game needs to give you an extra three dice just to get anything done.
I don't think PSO fanatics would be completley disappointed, I just don't think many will play it nearly as long as they've played Eps 1 & 2. But maybe that's just my case.

awww...i thought it was better than that!
i love it...its quite a change, but then again, who wants to play the same game?
the strategy was a nice change...and the card collecting mentality made me play it a loooong time. I just...loved it. a nice change in my opinion ( i mean phantasy star universe is for ep.1and2 people...we needed a change. maybe theyll have a bigger version of ep3 later?)

I dunno, there's just rarely a game I enjoy as much as PSO, and the make it into one of those boring CCG's? Ugh. If they'd spent the time and effort into new levels/weapons/enemies/techs/maybe even classes, I would've loved it so much more. Even looking at it as sort of a side story, I still would've like to use my own character for more than setting up a deck and talking to NPC's.

i dont find pso 3 as such an exhilarating game. but dont get me wrong, i think its a great game. but on the other hand...its a slow one. unlike pso1/2, it lacks action. but it has the surprise factor in it y'know. but the AI in the game is stupid.

pso 3 is a great game, but i still say pso 1/2 is better

Episode 3 was okay for a while. It's missing a lot of things that other card games had as staple points. And WHY did they choose to omit Delsaber?!

i seond that...the delsaber is cool...but if you notice in the opening video...the delsaber is there...i dont get it
