Eilea A place to post and discuss "what if" questions. To start: What if you were never born? eek Or what if your parents had never met? Would the possible you just be gone? The mere concept of your existence? Or would you be born to someone else? Who are you, really? It's weird to think how easily my life could have not existed... And yes, I'm back! whee

if i was born into the body of a dog, i'd have a much easier time of things, i'm sure... sweatdrop what if you were the opposite sex?

well, not according to hindu beliefs. it all depends on your karma in this life. if you were good, you'd get reincarnated as an even more priviledged person, ones step closer to enlightenment. if you were bad, you got reincarnated as something lower on the foodchain. like a frog or something. at least for that lifetime. and then if you were a good frog, you'd move up another notch next time around.

nightlight well, not according to hindu beliefs. it all depends on your karma in this life. if you were good, you'd get reincarnated as an even more priviledged person, ones step closer to enlightenment. if you were bad, you got reincarnated as something lower on the foodchain. like a frog or something. at least for that lifetime. and then if you were a good frog, you'd move up another notch next time around.

and i told my history teacher and he was like, "i love questions like that! what if the south had won the civil war? what if...et cetera"
contribution from tom's physics teacher (and from tom): what if the only lights were sunlight and fire? no electrical light? and would that be better for people's eyes?

I thought the Hindu beliefs on Kharma was highest was a preist, lowest was a slave, and there were others in between that I forgot. And if you didn't follow the dhurma, you get kicked down a notch in your next life, and if you followed the dhurma, you get kicked up a notch in your next life.
