So yeah, one of my friends told me Miyavi actually moved here to the states, and supposedly he moved to Cali, and he is in the US right now, in a round trip, so he could be anywhere ninja
has someone heard of this? is it true?

O-re-sa-ma does not say anything about it. Well, not from what I can translate. But you know, rumors are rumors. Never trust them. I personaly don't see Miyavi becoming an American citizen. MAYBE, getting a house here and visiting every once in a while like normal. But yeah, rumors, who needs 'em?

if it's true then hurray because I'm moving back to Cali once I graduate..but he'll probably move to LA or something...darn darn SanDiego......I mean LA but yeah it's probably a rumor started by crazy fangirls...I mean hopeful fan girls

Miyavi strikes me as the type who's too proud of his Japanese side to want to do that. In several of his journal entries, he's talked about how much he loves Japanese food among other things. He's kind of eccentric and does name off some American icons every once in awhile, but in his own way he does seem to show an extent of national pride.
Also, with what it says on O-re-sa-ma.com, most of what's written there about America and overseas fans and such concerns "Dear My Friend" which is basically a letter to us.

I don't see that happening. He doesn't stike me as the Yoshiki (X-Japan) type. Maybe a vacation home but I don't even see him doing that.

No, he has said in a recent interview that he would like to go and tour in europe and other places he hasnt been, just becuase he hasnt been there, but he isnt going to be a US citizen as far as I know.
He loves his asian tours and food too much to leave, lol.

Anyway, I was on another forum - on the Miyavi board - and a girl was talking about how she met Miyavi in the mall...in Victoria's Secret, no less!
He was going to try on a pink sweater, I think. ;D
He signed a dollar bill for her, and she scanned it. :0
Anyway, she was in California.

EDIT: I think she - or someone else - mentioned that Meevers was coming over to study, or something so that's why...
