Hey, I am thinking about moving to Richmond, and I was just wondering what you think about Virginia.. life there etc. I was especially wondering how it might be different from, i dunno, anywhere else in the U.S. (like the mid-west, hint, hint.) i am a college graduate, so info on schooling and stuff would probably be only a little helpful. thank you so much...
um, anyway, i was just hoping that someone could give me a little perspective..

*thinks* I dunno. I been to a lot of other places in the US - lived in Denver, even - but.... *shrugs* Richmond always struck me as being just like every other big city I've ever been to. They're a bit more Republican than, say, DC, but they're not majorly "Southern". *shrugs* I dunno. *very not helpful* sweatdrop

I have lived all over the United States and Virginia and Richmond is a Decent lil place with a bit of things to do... i liked it... maybe u will too?

Richmond is good for racing. Does have a race track where there actually was a race last night. Probably lots of fun. I have only been there a handful of times.

Hmm. Im not really sure about costs and jobs, but I can say that Virginia is my favorite state. Lol. Ive been everywhere, and Virginia is my favorite.

I know Im not much help, but yep. Thats my opinion on VA. I cant picture ever living anywhere else again.

Theres this excellent petting zoo and a really cool gem mine, where you can actually dig for gems yourself! It's also really close to the historic triangle(A.K.A. Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Jamestown) where I live! Also, some parts of the state are really pretty, if you like trees! I swear, every time I look somewhere outside, theres a forest or a cluster of trees! Also, the cost of living ain't that much! It's half the cost of some states I lived in!
