I've always wanted a companion. From childhood to now, I've always wanted a pet. Sure, my parents gave in before and gave me a bird at first. That...didn't go so well. It died that month because I placed the cage too close to the window where the sun practically murdered it. Next some fish and a silly little tank. I got bored with them and forgot to clean the algae, shocked to see the whole container literally black when I remembered to feed them. I've had all types of animals. From hermit crabs to box turtles. Dogs I wasn't so good with, either. I never found out why, even though they were supposed to be man's best friend...
Today started off as normal. You know, get up, eat breakfast, brush teeth, then pull on some decent clothes. It was a Monday, a plain and bland Monday. Nothing special as usual.
On my daily walk down the street, I decided to take a different route. I had no idea why. Let's just say I felt like something was calling me...
It was pretty chilly and a 60 ounce cup of chai tea was sounding wonderfully heavenly at that point. With that, I entered a nearby coffee shop. I have to admit, when I first entered the place goosebumps raised on my skin and a strange feeling surged through me. Apparently, this wasn't any ordinary store.
The first thing I noticed was an odd sign set upon a nearby table. I blinked for a moment and approached it, attempting to read the message. A slight gasp then escaped me. Such beautiful eggs were placed behind that sign. All of them of different colors and designs. Surely...they couldn't be...'real'...
Could they?
There was one egg in particular that caught my attention, however. It was an orange spotted yellow one that had upon it angelic wings and a halo. Undoubtedly had it added to its cherubic appearance.
And so here I am, writing this entry with my newly made friend beside me! I was able to purchase the beauty from the owner, Jynk.
I can't wait until it hatches...
I hope, though, that I can be a good owner as I should be.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, many changes have come upon Atilinnan during that time. Though he is somewhat still a child with his youthful love of sugar, candy, sweets, and what not, I can see he's growing up. Maturing, if you'd like. It may not be so apparent now, but for some reason, it is to me.
We've grown quite close since our last trip to the Philippines. Atilinnan has also come into contact with others, as well! I've met a man by the name of Braska and a woman named Sayuri. He seems to have a liking to the their Beats, Tammary and Coran.
Time flies by so fast. It felt like just yesterday that I was curiously cradling that spotted egg in my arms. Now, today, he's grown a tail and a pair of legs. A full grown piggle, he is! Also, he's even said his first almost complete sentence! Heh, well, of course it's related to food. What else did you think?
I bought some toys, thingamajigs, and other assorted items for him recently, too.
