I know that there is another thread on color energies/magick, but i would like to post some of the various interpretations obtained from various scources.

Red- #1 color of blood, passion, and war. It is worn by brides in India and Chia for good luck, fertility. It can also mean danger #2 Gives strength and energy #3 Cooresponds with power, courage, passion and love #4 Color opposite- turqoise

Green #1 Color of life, spring, and youth. Represents hope and joy, but can also represent decay and jealousy. It is the color of the Holy Trinity In Christianity #2 For Balance and fertility #3 Prosperity, growth, fertility, creativity, money, and the Earth #4 Opposite color- magenta

Orange #1 Symbolizes flames, but also luxery and splendor. In China and Japan, it is equated with love and happiness #2 Independence, happiness #3 Success, healing, power #4 Color opposite- Blue

Yellow #1 Gold, light, the Sun. Golden yellow is wisdom and good advice, while pale yellow is deceit and betrayal. In Egypt, it is the color of cowardice #2 Mental activity #3 Success, begginings, inspiration, the Sun #4 Color Opposite- Violet ( the yellow is hard to read, so i didnt make the font yellow)

Blue #1 Color of the sky and water. Represents calm, reflection, intelect, the infinite, the void from which all life develops #2 Peace and sleep ( turqoise) calmness, purity #3 Peace, healing, emotions, water #4 Color Opposte- orange

Purple #1 Represents royalty and imperial power, pride, granduer, justice #2 (lavender) Spirituality, meditaiton, phsycic gifts, dreams #3 ( magenta) Helps us let go move with the flow of life (violet) mysticism, hope #4 Color Opposite- Green

Indeed, that's why in workings of magick you can substitute white for any other color because it's seen as a mixture of all colors and therefore contains whatever color would be appropriate for what your substituting it for. If that makes sense.
