Assorted background info (1/29/09 update for Suhayl and Devin):
Touma's color is dark blue. He was the first, and is one of the oldest Koivou. (At least, of the ones found by Trixie). Of the ones who still come to the shop, only Achiles is older than him. Touma is very cautious, wary, paranoid, and any other synonyms you might think of, since he grew up with the threat of the Demon hanging over his head, and he didn't have any older Koivou to rely on to protect him.
Due to this, he really doesn't get along well with people or Koivou who endanger others, kits, and idiots. The only reason why he gets along with Jitka so well is she's family, and he feels a duty to his family (hence his personal obsession with finding his "real" family).
Mirek's color is light/plain blue. He's still one of the older Koivou, but not near as old as Touma (who was an adult when Mirek was still a kit). He used to fit quite nicely into the category of "idiot", which is why he and Touma quarreled so much. However, these quarrels were more along the lines of sibling rivalry than serious dislike.
Lately, though, Mirek has gotten rather depressed, due to the fact that he can no longer walk by himself. Instead, he has to be carried by a human, or supported by another Koivou to wherever he wants to go, and such dependancy on others drives him utterly insane.
Now that he's recovered, he's a bit less "emo". Or was, until he was kind of forced to come out. But luckily Saunter quickly smacked some sense back into him, and it looks like he might finally stop being the baby of the family, and grow up a little. Maybe.
Or not. He went and re-injured his leg in the Koivou city, and now not only does get to angst about how Touma's been avoiding him, he can complain about his leg again, too, especially since it'll probably take even longer to heal this time!
Emo-Mirek returns!
And is gone again, because Saunter and Thetis healed his leg. He's still not doing that great, due to his feelings for Touma, but who knows what's in the future for those two. ninja (Okay, so everyone knows it. It's just a matter of getting this DONE.)
AND MIREK AND TOUMA ARE OFFICIALLY TOGETHER AS OF 1/23/07, W00T! FINALLY NO MORE EMO-MIREK! 'REA IS GOING TO HAVE A FECKING HUGE PARTY FOR THIS, YEEEEES!
Except the Mirek's kids are brats. But he seems to be more angry about that, and Touma's the emo one.

Also, they got married on January 23, 2009, their 2 year anniversary. Send moar cake plz.
Jitka's color is orange. She is by far the youngest of the group. She also fits into the category of "idiot". Why? No one knows. Presumably she just as a low IQ, although for all anyone knows, Kuno's theory of her being dropped on her head may be right. (However, Anrea is definitely not the culprit if that is true.)
She never really learned the grammar of English, and as such, she speaks a bit oddly, and can be quite difficult to understand. She is much more social than her brothers, having adopted quite a few Koivou into her family, namely Yuri, Peace, and, through Yuri, the kits of Sparks and Serp, BurningFrost, HawkFrost, and Nova. She is also quite interested in Mayes, and will probably try adding him to her family as well.
She is also very competitve, and hates being outdone, especially by those "less" than herself.
Well, Jitka has added Mayes to her family, but as her "special friend", not as a relation. Jitka can now probably claim every Koivou in the shop as part of her family, and she's proud of it.
Becoming a mother has gotten Jitka to settle down a little, and grow up a bit more. She still acts more like a kit than anything, but she's really trying to be grown up, for her children's sakes.
Anrea is a fox girl. Most of the time she is hyper, and not serious, but when matters of great importance come up, she is more than ready to calm down and act mature.
Devika's color is gray. She is the daughter of Jitka and Mayes, and has Ravnica and Takumi as her siblings.
She's hyper like her mother, and likes to move around a lot, so she's often playing chase with her siblings, or training on the stumps. She seems to be calming down as she grows up, though, and she might end up taking after her father a bit more.
She has the slightly odd habit of usually speaking in a sort of "I plural" form, meaning that she says "we" and "us" more often than "I" and "me", since she and her siblings are one in a way.
She also has a little earth familiar friend, named Avani.
Kuno's font color is green. Like his eyes. That he got from his Dad. AND ARE PRETTY! He also has pretty stars from his Daddy...
Personality-wise, he really really does not like humans, due to spending his first days of live in the G-corp labs. Maybe the scientists were nice, but they weren't nice enough. Kuno came to the shop looking well fed, at least, but maybe the scientists didn't play with him, or they didn't let him out of wherever they kept him. Whatever the case, it ended up that Kuno really does not like non-Koivou things. Humans, Damphousse...If it's not Koivou, it is bad. (Because of his Daddy being a Celestial, obviously the Celestials get classified under "Koivou". And he probably won't mind familiars. Everything else...)
Suhayl's font color is peru (silly color names), and he is Mirek's dad. He and JayRun knew each other when the city fell, and escaped together, along with Suhayl's mate. Together, they also added their modifications. However, shortly after that, they were attacked, and Suhayl was separated from his mate. But about a month later, he noticed signs of her presence, and ran off to find her, thus getting separated from JayRun.
He did find her, but she was dead, with no sign of the kits she had been carrying, and should have given birth to by that point. He tried searching for them, but could not find them, and eventually concluded that they had been separated from her, and most likely killed by the Demon.
Current he wanders the forest by himself. He has recently discovered the shop, but he won't approach it, for fear of the humans, and of how strange Koivu who have been raised by humans might be.
Devin's color is dark magenta. She's the child of Peace and Zane, and loves her daddies and her five siblings very much. She's not quite as hyper as some of her siblings, but she's not very calm, either. Just your standard young kid, really. Being in part of such a large family, she feels weird when she's alone, and she's not sure yet if that's a good weird or a bad weird.
Xerxes' color is dark red. He is the Alpha Male of the Damphousse/Night Runners. He really hates the Queen, since she is ranked higher than him just because she is female, and also because she has the nasty habit of seeming to read his mind.
Since meeting the Princess, this hatred has spread to all females, since they both have that very nasty habit of reading his mind. And they lie to him. And he sees the Queen as too "soft", but since he's below her in rank, he can't do anything about it. And he really, really hates them.
He hates a lot of people, actually. The stupid younger Damphousse, females in general...Is anyone on his good side? Does he have a good side?
Altair's color is olive. He's an, and a very sneaky one. He's very big on strategy and stealth, and takes full advantage of whatever he's learned about an opponent.
He's just won his first fight, and that may have gone to his head a bit.
It probbaly did, since he can't accept that he was defeated by Blackhear in his second fight. (There was the matter of the youth that helped, of course.) He can't wait until he's healed enough to re-fight Blackheart, to show him who's really the better fighter!
Since he started his own pack, Altair is now Alpha as well, but since his pack is the newest, he's technically lower ranking than Xerxes. His list of rivals has been growing, and now Stripe is on there as well, for trying to take his position as soon as the pack was made. He seems to have stopped obsessing over proving to Blackheart that he's the better fighter, since he is now higher ranking than Blackheart.
But any rank in Damphousse society doesn't last for long, and who knows what will happen to him in his next rank battle.

Random stuff on Jitka, yey! Namely: her family tree, explained! (Or, "How Jitka is related to (almost) the entire shop") Now arranged by "family"!
Touma: Older brother/guardian. He's forced to be her brother, since they have the same owner.
Mirek: Older brother/guardian. He likes Jitka a lot, especially since she's a lot like him. Or he did, until his leg got injured, and he got all depressed.
Yuri: Her first victim adopted sibbling. ninja They were best friends when Yuri was young, although they seem to have drifted apart lately.
Jinx and Vee: Her "parents" since Yuri his her sister, and they're Yuri's parents.
Karma, Fate, Naton (Yuri and Aragon's kits): Nieces and nephews.
Peace: Adopted brother. Jitka is glad that they both consider each other a sibbling, and nothing more, but she is sad that he's sad about the fact that he can't walk.
Zane: Brother
Devin, Hope, Drake, Ai'mee, Ceres, [nameless]: Nieces and nephews, as they are Zane and Peace's kids.
Sephiroth: Brother, since he's "related" to Yuri and Peace and...all of the others.

C'mon, you can walk again. So what if you can't go that far, or train? You know that you aren't permanantly injured, and that's what matters, right?"
"Okay, I'll say it since you're too embarrassed to. It's not like they don't know how the sentence ends, anyway, though. Mirek wanted to adopt Jitka because he didn't want to see her end up all scared and timid like the other kits he'd seen. He didn't want to see her loose her spirit, since it was so rare to see in someone so young. That everything?"
"Well excuse me for the world being a stupid place. Okay, footnote: no, Mirek is not some sort of creepy ***** poof who fell in love with a kit. He's just far too over protective, 'kay? Now ya'll go drag your mind out of the gutter like good listeners. Thank ya!"

not fun. What else? Oh, had a fun talk with Kiba. Surprisingly, he's pretty good at the theories. And then Mirek...I don't even know what's up with him; all I know is he is acting weird. Speaking of weird, I had a weird dream, too, but all I can remember is the Demon, and threats, and winged creatures, and green eyes, and safeness...Wish I could remember what happened. So. That's what's happened to me in the past twenty-four hours that's interesting. Now can I please have breakfast?>
