What's on your mind, what do you talk about, and what do you do if people are eating meat in front of you?
I try to keep my eyes on my own food instead of watching them eat their carcasses sloppily. I'm always thinking, 'have they ever thought about where that came from' and things like that. Being in this position makes me so uncomfortable that I move if I can.

I agree, I normally consintrate on my own food but I cant help glancing over, it is gross. Then I look over at my dad and see him eating it off the bone and I get totally grossed out. I tell him to turn it the other way. And I see the grease and everything dripping down out of their mouth and all I can see is a piggy or cow or chicken face on it saying, "Hellppp meee"
Heh..Lisa Simpson goes veg! Sorry All I can think about is this one episode of the Simpsons when she meets a cute little lamb and has to go home, and 3 days later she hears that the place had been closed down, then 2 days later her family is eating sheep and it is in the shape of the lambs head quincidentally and she sees the face saying, "Hellpp mee" and she becomes veg.

though I have been known to lecture my friends at time I generally just allow people their own views. Eating meat infront of me doesn't bother me unless they make a point of it or attempt to make me eat it. Of course those are things that would annoy anybody who doesn't eat meat.

It bothers me a little bit, but I don't use it to judge their personality. I understand what they're doing, since I wasn't raised vegetarian, so I just show off my packed vegan lunch, and offer them some. But I won't touch that bologna sandwich. xp

I ty to remember that most people have no idea about their meal's origin, or that they don't carew. I do, however, buy those little stickers from peta.org that say: Hello! My name was: _____________! I was a happy and free animal until I was slaughtered for your meal. and write a name in, and then stick them on meat packages in the supermarket.

Well, my family's flesh-eaters so I don't mind too much. Although I have been known to gross ppl out while they're eating meat by going into detail about how that chicken wing got onto their plate.

I don't really mind I've seen people eat meat my whole life I kinda got use to it though I wish I have friends that are vegetarians. I really can't stand the smell of meat it really gets to me. I don't hate people who eat meat I just hate them it they try to make me eat it. I don't care what others eat it is there choice it's not like I can do anything about it, I try talking to my friends but everytime I do they don't take it seriously. Sometime it like they don't remember I'm a vegetarian sweatdrop and I have to remind them which is really annoying. Maybe I dhould get new friend. But over the years I been friend with some people none really question why I don't eat meat. What am I suppose to do go up and say hi I'm a vegetarian to everyone I meet. Over the year at school I've never meet another vegetarian maybe there is some one but Ive never meet a classmate that is one.

i dont really mind when people eat meat in front of me because i know i cant change my friends mind. i just recently became vegitarian, and my friend is always lecturing me on how its stupid and has no point, while i try to convincer her to see it my side. it gets really annoying XP but it's their desion, maybe one day they'l realize that these animals were made for more than just food.

It mostly bothers me when people eat meat because they make a big deal about me being vegetarian. In a bad way. They'll stick a ham sandwhich in my face. Or a hotdog in my lunch box. And I'll like start crying. Well I've almost started crying. Crying on the inside, ya know? Cause if they saw me they would laugh. So my friend made it so the vegetarians got their own table at lunch. Mostly because the lunch lady is literally afraid of us, so she wouldn't protest. She's mostly afraid of my powerful debating vegan friend.

Meat bothers me... the look... the smell... eww...
My parents are flesh-eaters, so I often have to deal with the stomach churning stench when they cook... I usally resort to the backyard when they cook meat... then watching them eat it, THAT is nasty, heartlessly tearing at the flesh of an innocent creature... disgusting...
I'll sometimes have panic attacks after having to deal with the look and stench of meat, or just due to the fact that I'm not fully vegan for which I feel terrible... I'll start crying and tearing at my own flesh when these attacks come on. I've tried tostop these attacks, yet with no avail. My arms are covered with both scars and fresh wounds due to this. My parents still think that my will to go vegan is 'just a phase', dispite my bloodied arms.

Erm..everyone around me eats meat so I get used to it and usually dont mind it, unless your my mom. She is ruthless to the poor (chicken) carcass. Its nasty and I usually feel like throwing up after seeing her eat it.
