Holy donuts! Friggen christ! I am just bauling here! Trigun is going to be re-animated and HOPEFULLY done the correct way by the manga from Yasuhiro Nightow. I am just speachless. It's about time. That's all I can say.
Gah! We will be able to see Razlo and Chaple, Wolfwood will die the right way, Vash will be dieing but not in a bad way, Midvalley will get to do more, Legato will be in a little swaddling castcate....etc. It's going to rock! It's not going to suck as much as the anime did!
RESPOND!!!!!

That is pretty darn cool. I like the anime, but I always thought that the art wasn't on the same level as Yasuhiro Nightow. I haven't made it all the way through the manga yet. I can't find any of the larger Dark horse volumes past #2. sad I don't know how I'd feel about Vash dying though.

Arelyn530 YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING!!! What studio is doing the job? My friend told me that she read in a recent magazine article that Trigun will be re-animated by Red, the company who did Gungrave. How cool is that? Gungrave rocked and I don't want to hear anyone from this forum say other-wise. it was just good.

I can't find any of the larger Dark horse volumes past #2. sad I don't know how I'd feel about Vash dying though. Here's the thing about the "big" issues of Trigun: They are what I call "A make up for the s**t a creator went through with a shitty publishing company." Nightow was original with Shounen King, now he's with Young King Ours and is doing fabulously. Shounen King or Shounen Gohousha didn't want to continue with Trigun for another season, also because their contract with Nightow had expired. So Nightow had to find a new publisher and found Young King Ours who gave him a great contract to complete his work, re-issue his first season and continue his work under a new name Trigun Maximum. He also got some rights from Project Red who make games. So that was a better deal for Nightow. As for Vash dieing.... it's not set in stone. I don't mean to ruin anything but keep reading. I'm going further cause I've spent too much time worring over wht's going to happen. All in all this is great news and you guys will be getting some more info on this once I get word.

I agree. This wouldn't be the first time many of us have gotten our hopes up for a show remake or movie, then had them crushed by reality....

Hey guys I don't know if you'll belive me but I'm with Bastett on this one. I heard about that deal with Nightow and Gahousha too, and if you look on half of the merchandise I'm sure you all own I.E. the plush, and the chibi keychains they say Shonen Gahousha on them. But as for the series I do belive it's true, becuase Shonen Gahousha also owned rights to the anime Hellsing and I have seen the first episodes of the new OVA they made for the series after the manga like the creator wanted. I'm beting that Yasuhiro-san decided to take a note from Hellsing's creator and try it out as well.
