May . . . // Oh, the lotus has been given to my keeping and it's a lovely shade of blue! I better start reading up on the history of Jade.
April . . . // Back in Soriyu now and looking for a nicely furnished place. In a day I should be called back to the West Lake Guardian school to find out what water area and origin the Lotus should be chosen from (I hope it's not Soriyu, haha!).
March . . . // Started to build the garden pond but received an important letter in the afternoon saying my application for a Lotus has been put on the waiting list. Apparently I didn't score high enough to get one this month ~_~! At least this will give me lots of time to finish the pond up here. I still need to find guardian quarters in Soriyu though. Can't keep living at the Inn forever...

She has a habit of trying to keep things tidy around her home and workshop but her narrow band of focus often causes her to neglect some areas in favour of others. Nothing is ever organized at the same time to Preet's dismay.
. . . Back Story // Preet has lived in the town of Hana all her life. Her guardian, Singh, raised her and another lotus, Preet's brother Dani, into the craft of tinkering. Both Preet and Dani excelled at tinkering and surpassed their guardian in skill by their mid-teen years. Since Dani was the older of the two lotus, he was expected to apprentice to a local master tinker that would continue his training into journeyman and beyond. However after a unexpected decision, Dani left the city alone to find his own place in Edonisu.
Preet was a few years younger than her brother at this time but decided to fill his place and become a great tinker in his stead. She moved in with another lotus Tinker as an apprentice, and quickly passed the older apprentices to become the youngest journeyman in any guild in Hanano. This created some bitterness in her age circle and among the other journeymen so Preet took to travelling around Ishura to the larger cities. To afford this she contracting out her tinker skills to master tinkers for a season or two before finding another city to move on to.
After 3 years of this she eventually worked her way back to Hana. Her journey gave her many new ideas and skills to try in her work so she set up shop with Singh and soon earned the title of Master Tinker... // more to come . . .~ - - - - ~

They have a very diversified market, causing people from all over to come to Ishura for shopping. It is surrounded by many islands, some big and some small. They are very lively people and despite their industrialization, stick to tradition. They have many festivals and they are known for their gorgeous cherry blossom trees.
Ishura's architecture resembles Japanese design, with ornate pillars and arches, delicate and beautiful walls and decorations, as well as multiple stories to buildings. Ishurans have many elaborate shrines where they hold their festivals. Many Ishura buildings include a carefully manicured, oriental garden that centers around the cherry blossom tree - the national symbol. ~ - - - - ~  . . . // Jade has very many lakes and streams, Jade is referred to as the Country of Water. Instead of huge fields like in Fen, they pride themselves on the beautiful lotus arrangements they create, integrating architecture into the lakes. Their country is the farthest away from the main land, and that is why they don't travel back and forth much. The people of Jade are extremely in tune with nature and the weather, sometimes even able to control small aspects of it through magic. There is a rumor that in the continent's most ancient shrine, built on a beautiful crystal lake, there lives an Undine.
