For the sake of people who have been complaining about the hassle of finding their RP posts, I have searched all 200+ pages of the main thread and saved all the RPing. Of course, this is also if you want to know more about what's happening, etc. wink

Please post all relevant RP your Krystal has done in your journal.
I am sorry to say I cannot put it in different colours, differentiating between different RPs. There are too many. @w@

Fauste laid against the back of the armchair in the main building, a lighted cigerate hanging in his mouth as he read through the newspaper. Although he doubt that anything interesting had happened, it didn't stop him from reading it everyday.

"Another case of suicide," He mumbled softly to himself, "People really are dying to go down there..."

Logan wandered through rooms, occasionally sniffing around. He appeared to be searching for something. His nose twitched as he picked up Fauste's scent. Moving towards the man, the boy shoved his hands into his pockets.

"...Have you seen Luc?" he mumbled

Fauste's eye gave a small twitch as he started wondering how anyone can stand children at all. He placed down the newspaper, and crushed the cigerate under his shoe.

He paused, looking at Logan, "What's a Luc? And who are you? Don't recall seeing you here before... Are you Melody's student by any chance?"

Eyes narrowing, Logan felt offended. He glared up at the man before him. "Luc's... my rabbit. I lost him." He frowned and averted his gaze somewhere else. "I'm... Logan. Don't know about students or whatever..."

"A rabbit?" Fauste echoed, looking around the room. Great, a child and a rabbit. The young man looked at Logan, and smiled a little, "Well then Logan, I haven't seen your rabbit. But you should ask your parent to send in an application for a teacher." He paused and for a moment, the room was silent. However, the silence broke as he continued rather awkwardly, "And I'm Fauste..."
"He's not a real rabbit. A stuffed animal." Logan pawed at the floor with a shoe. "My parent's not here right now. Er... could you help look for Luc?" He raised his eyes and looked expectantly at Fauste.

Fauste stayed silent for a moment, deciding on an answer as he looked back at the child. How he hated responsibility, and children, and stuffed rabbits, and running an adoption center, and parents who let their children run about. How he hated to be bothered by all these...

"I'll help you." He raised an eye brow. "Tell me how it looks like, and where you think you've lost it."

Logan sensed the man's reluctance, but he persisted. " Luc's white. All white. I dropped him somewhere while explorin' the place. Guess he could be anywhere." He watched Fauste calmly and waited for an answer. Mentally, he smirked.

"Easy," Fauste crossed his arms as he gave a laugh, "I'll be back in a little moment... All white, stuffed rabbit. Right." He smiled at Logan before walking away in the direction of his office. As he rounded the corner, a soft glow came from the corridor as Fauste reappeared.

"Here." He held out a white rabbit to Logan, the one Fauste hoped was Luc. "Found him in my office... Now, now, you do know that those are forbidden rooms?"

Logan reached out to retrieve his stuffed animal. "Yeah, that's him." He blinked up at Fauste. "No one told me of anythin' round here... That's why I went to look around." He hugged Luc to his chest as he glanced down the corridor. " How'd you find 'im so fast?"

"Since you've already entered, the sands of time cannot be unwound...." Fauste chuckled softly, and winked, "Will you believe me if I say that it's magic?" He took out a packet of cigerate, and took out a stick.

"So? Do you believe in magic?"

"Hm..." Logan pondered for a moment. "Never seen any. What's it look like?" His brow furrowed at the scent of the cigarette, and he wrinkled his nose.

"What's the point of those things you're holdin'?" The boy's head tilted slightly as he examined the pack in Fauste's hand.

"You'll know when you grow up," Fauste smiled, and placed his head on Logan's head. "You're a smart boy. So would you mind if I decide to make you my student?" He looked down into the boy's eyes and awaited his answer.

"But you do know that I hate taking no for an answer." Fauste laughed.

"Student? What for?" Logan shifted his weight from one foot to the other. He'd been dropped off here, but Fei never told him anything about schooling. "What'm I goin' to learn? If it's anythin' to do with studyin'er somethin', I don't wanna." He crossed his arms and glared at the floor.

Fauste tilted his head to a side and studied the chile, "Oh, there'll be studying... But not the boring kind. No worries, take your time to make up your mind." He took down his hand and walked over to the armchair.

"You learn lots of things," He continued, "Like using your magic, don't ask me first, and also lots of other random stuff."

Melody yawned. "Who is talking so early in the morning?"she mumbled. "Damn that Fauste,"she sighed .

Her blue eyes widened as they peeked into the room and saw Fauste talking to a child. 'Hey," she said, "Who's the newcomer?" she asked as she studied the child. Another Krystal, she thought.

Logan mulled over Fauste's words. He wasn't sure what he wanted, but the man's invitation seemed quite interesting. As Logan opened his mouth to say something, however, a new scent found its way to his sensitive nose. The boy turned his head to the doorway instead, watching the woman with mild interest.

Fauste looked up, and raised an eye brow. His lips twiched into a mild smile, "Oh, look who has decided to wake up. Logan, that's Melody." He turned to look at Logan, and pointed his finger at Melody, "That's the other person you can chose to be your teacher."

Melody raised an eyebrow, "Someone switched off my alarm," she said pointedly. She smiled at the little boy,"Hi Logan," then turned to Fauste," Who is his guardian?" she asked quizzically.

Fauste dropped the cigarette on the ground, and smuffed it out with his boot. He shrugged, "I don't know, someone named Fei, I think." He turned towards logan, "Who's your guardian? I'll need to talk to him about your lessons."

"Fei," Melody said thoughtfully. "No, I don't recall that name, but if he or she comes by, we'll have to talk," she added. She turned to Logan,"I'm sure Fauste must have said something about choosing your teachers. If you don't choose me, I really don't mind, but he does. It's your decision and you have to make it."

Logan tilted his head slightly at Melody, his blue eyes surveying the new person. "So I've got to choose between you two...?" he said thoughtfully. Turning his head from one to the other, the young boy pondered silently.

"Well...yes," Melody replied, studying the boy with the rabbit in his arms. She shrugged, "But it might take the consent of your guardian."

"Oh. Well I'll ask Fei when he comes. If he does..." Logan frowned as he moved towards a vacant chair. Fei would surely have the right answer. The man was his guardian, after all. He placed Luc carefully next to himself and turned back to Melody and Fauste. "So what is this place?"

Melody smiled, "Your guardian will certainly come to pick you up," she assured him. How could Logan doubt that Fei would not come for him? She was puzzled by this.

His question cut into the tumult of her thoughts. "Didn't your guardian, Fei was it? tell you why he dropped you here?" she answered, raising an eyebrow.

He looked at Logan, and then at the phone on the table.

"Logan, why not give your guardian a call?" He suggested, leaning on the back of the armchair, "Tell him, or her, to come over and the four of us can have a nice talk."

"Fei said he had some errand to run... I dunno. Said this would be a safe place fer me to stay fer a while till he's done." Logan dusted off Luc and rearranged the ears into a nicer position. "Sorta thought this was a day care'r somethin'..." he continued. "Went to take a look 'round, but it doesn't really look anythin' like that."

"It's not really a day care centre," Melody said thoughtfully, "It's more like... a school for special children." she finished.

He ran a hand through his crop of hair, mixing the white highlights of his fringe with his ebony hair. "Melody's right. This is no daycare centre."
Melody grinned, "Speaking of him, how is Seth anyway?" she asked, perching on top of a desk.

Fauste sat up on the chair and answer, his voice monotonic, "Seth? Shooting at targets in one of the practising rooms. Ever since he got that arrow... Plus his familiar keeps staring at me. Shouldn't have given him that cat, or that bow."

"He got those on his quest, remember?" Melody reminded him, "Besides, as long as he's having fun, nothing does reallly matter," She turned her attention to Logan. "Why are you so quiet?" she smiled.

"But I was his teacher, and I gave him the quests and forged his weapons, remember?" He sighed and paused for a moment before speaking again, "Yeah, sure. He seems to be having fun with his shooting..."

"Just listenin'... Seems kind of interestin' I suppose. So I've gotta stay here and pick a teacher?" He petted his stuffed rabbit absentmindedly as he watched the two adults from his seat.

Exactly how long was Fei going to take with that errand of his? Logan fidgeted a bit as he thought frustratedly. Perhaps he should just pick himself.

Melody gave a little giggle,"Why, do you regret that you made a bow out of the materials he found on his quest?" She shifted slightly to make herself comfortable.

"No, not really." Fauste replied, looking at Melody, "A bow is a good weapon. Strong, sturdy and it can be used to block attacks if it's strong enough." He mused, smiling a little, "Can't say I regret giving it to him, but I do regret sending him after that unblinking cat of his."

"And yes, you need a teacher if you ever want to grow up, Logan."

Melody shrugged, "If you don't keep looking at the cat. it won't bother you."

"Logan, Fauste's right. You need a teacher for you to learn about well...stuff," she explained.

"I don't look at cats," Fauste replied hastily, "That cat looks at me." He frowned a little and looked at Logan, "When your guardian comes, be sure to tell us. Guess we all need a little group talk."

Melody gave a little shrug, "So the cat is curious," she said. She jumped down from the desk , landing lightly. " Not much of a animal lover are you?" she tilted her head, shooting Fauste a questioning glance.

"Curious?" Fauste almost yelled, "It keeps staring with unblinking eyes, like it is observing me or something!" He placed a hand on his forehead and closed his eyes. With a shake of his head, Fauste spoke, with his hands still resting on his forehead, "You never fail to annoy me, Melody. You never fail to do so."

Melody gave a sarcastic laugh. I annoy him? she wondered, frustrated, he doesn't even know how he frustrates me. She didn't want to say it out loud, lest it caused a fight between the two of them in front of Logan.

Fauste narrowed his eyes. When Melody laughs like that, it can't be anything good. He smiled lightly, "There, there... We'll need to get along and this isn't exactly getting along, is it?"

Melody folded her arms, "Who, me?" she asked, "I didn't say anything," she retorted lighly, her eyes dancing to Logan and Luc and stifled an urge to roll her eyes

"Whatever you say..." Fauste replied simply, as he stood up and walked over to the vending machine, "You might not say it out, but I know what you are thinking." He inserted in a coin, and pressed the button for a can of iced mocha.

Melody raised her eyebrows slightly, "And how would you know what I'm thinking?" She sat down on a chair near Logan and rested her arms on a nearby desk.

"I just do," Fauste smirked lightly as he returned to his seat. "You are too predictable." He opened the can, and sipped the cold liquid down. Smiling, he continued, "And you don't have a single decent thing to say about me, so whatever is in your mind can't me good where it concerns me."

"Hey," Melody retorted, "Like you have a decent thing to say about me," she cocked her head slightly. "Anyway, I believe everyone has a good side," she yawned, resting her chin on the cold surface of the desk, "I just haven't really seen yours yet," she added.

"A good side? Me?" Fauste echoed in amusement, his lips in a mild grin, "Well, it dosen't hurt to believe, would it?" He winked at Melody and lifted the can to his lips, drinking the mocha to relief his thrist. Talking too much can make one thirsty.

Melody gave a little smile, "It doesn't," she agreed, "But, actually, you can be a pretty nice guy if you want to," she said, stifling her mouth with a yawn. "Everyone can be nice," she continued. "It's just what they choose to be like."

She paused, "Take my idiot brother for an example," she muttered. He had used to dote on her when they were young but now...

"Like I said, believe what you want." Fauste replied, sounding a little bored. He moved his attention to Logan, "Hey, you want to meet Seth? He might be feeling a little bored being by himself... Besides, aren't you bored from listening to us talk?"
Melody nodded and turned to Logan, "Yes, I think he'll be glad to see another Krystal," and then faced Fauste, "Should I bring him there? Unless you get pissed off by that cat again," she added.

Sesshomaru was still have difficulty walking in a straight line, although he had improved since yesterday. The child gave a frown as he climbed onto a couch. The place was empty, and not even the female from yesterday was present. And his parents went away with another male the moment they had arrived. It was a good thing he could walk...

Kyun ran into the room, giggling. Blythe had left her here while she had to go pick up some groceries or the like, and so she knew she should spend the freedom given carefully. Running in from one room to another, she stopped, staring into the last one with a blink. Hello. There was someone else in here! Stepping forewords, she stopped in front of the other boy's face, and waved.

That was... Shocking. He looked surprised for a quick moment, and then went back to his more composed expression. Maybe it was better to leave the room empty then to have anyone in it, he thought with a light smirk. He nodded at the other female, patting the seat next to him. Might as well make the best of company.

Kyun beamed. Scrabbling onto the seat, she stopped, turned, wiggled to get more comfortable and then relaxed. After what seemed like minutes, she finally turned back to the other boy. "Kyun." she said, introducing herself. She grinned.

He gave the girl a puzzled look. He could really pronouce his own name yet, and being called 'Sesshy' all day wasn't good for his vocab. "Ses-sho-maru." He said slowly, breaking up his own name into three parts. Feeling rather satisfied, he repeated it again, pointing to himself proudly, "Sesshomaru."

Kyun nodded. "Sess." she managed, trying to mimic the way he pronounced the worlds, only to feel. "Sessmoshro?" huh. Well, it was too long to remember any ways. Slipping out of the chair again, Kyun looked around the room with interest. Was there anything to play with in here? Anything to do? Casting a look at Sess, she waved her arm. Come on, let's look around.

Oh god, anyone person who seems to like shortening his name. Was a simple request like saying his whole name instead of shortening it too much to ask for? Giving a sign, he repeated himself, "Ses-sho-maru!" Leaping down from the seat, he cast a quick look around. Where to then?

"Sesshmoru!" she repeated. That's what she'd said! Taking his hand, she looked around. Huh... Outside, maybe? She tugged at him to make sure he would follow, and headed towards the door.

Sesshomaru was dragged from the room to outside. It was a sunny day, with a clear blue sky and not even a cloud in sight. Of cause, it means that the sun is burning with a passion that could seriously make you sweat... A lot. "Better." He commented, and gave a satisfied nod. Now to make sure everyone call him by his full name.

Kyun nodded, satisfied. Letting out a sigh of delight, she let go of this hand... and tapped him on the shoulder. She knew this game very well! "Tag!" she yelped, and dashed off to the otherside, a just barely out of his reach.

Sesshomaru was again, caught off guard. He raised an eye brow. What is tag? Looking at Kyun, he frowned as she went out of his reach. Was this the game? To catch someone else and then say 'tag'? He chased after Kyun, his legs a little shaky to start, but soon, he was able to run without stopping for a longer time. "Tag!" He said, tapping her on the shoulder. He then darted away. This was actually pretty fun!

Standing there, Kyun blinked. Oh dear. He had caught her? Giggling, she ran after him again. This was fun! Wondering if maybe his outfit wasn't too hard, she tugged at his hair. "Tag."

Sesshomaru gave a soft 'Ouch!' and halted in his steps. That was his hair she pulled! He frowned, and glared at Kyun for a moment before heading back inside without another word. Kyun blinked. Had she done something wrong? ... naaaah. Running after him, and deciding that maybe he was going to show her a new game, she stepped close behind- not close enough to breath down his neck, but close enough.

"Game?" she queried. "No." Sesshomaru replied, "No more play game." He was obviously a little pissed off, and continued walking into the lobby.

Kyun followed, not getting the hint. Reaching for his robe and holding onto a section of it, she looked around. "Book?" she asked. Were they going to read? But she couldn't read properly yet... He looked at her, and narrowed his eyes.

A minute of silence went by as Sesshomaro pondered what to do with her. She didn't seem to understand how important it is not to touch his hair. "No book. Can't read." He replied, trying to walk away again.

Kyun nodded her head. "Can't read." she said, not necesarily repeating him, but just speaking of how it was for her too. Stopping, she nodded her head. She was sure she had seen picture books, though. Tugging at his sleeve, she pulled him into one of the rooms. "Pitcha." she said. They could look at pitchas!

"Tv?" He suggested, tugging Kyun along to another room. He had given up trying to be angry. It wasn't much fun, and besides, the other child just didn't get it. "TV?" Kyun perked up. Blythe rarely let her watch TV. Running in, she stopped, peering around the room. "Pretty!" she said, and then zeroed in on the large screen. "ON?" she asked.

Sesshomaru followed Kyun in, his eyes on the remote control on the floor next to the television. He looked at teh large number of buttons, and pressed it randomly. On the screen, a show about penguins started. "Okay..."

Penguins! Staring intently, she frowned. What were the funny looking things? Sitting down, she absetmindedly patted the space next to her.

Sesshomaru sat down beside Kyun, his legs crossed as he too stared at the screen. Are those fat things... Birds? He frowned as the voice from the TV boomed, "Penguins are birds, but they cannot fly due to their small wings. However, they are graet swimmers."

Fauste sighed, and switched off the television in his office. There was nothing to do, and he was for once, feeling bored. Dragain and saniiro had went off looking around teh building, and there was nothing no TV that was particularly interesting. He picked up his phone, and dialed in the numbers, "Melody. Would you come over here fora moment?"

Melody was sitting on a black bench, playing the piano when the phone rang. She sighed, stretching her arms as she got up and picked up the receiver. "Oh hey," she answered, pausing to let Fauste talk, "sure, I'll be down," she replaced the receiver and walked down the hallway to his office and knocked on the door.

"Come in," Fauste's voice rang as he heard the knock, "Take a seat... I have things to ask of you."

Melody entered the room, closing the door behind her. "What is it?" she asked, sitting down on a comfy chair. Gywn was at home with Lyllana her maid and with her other pets, so she wasn't too worried. She just didn't want to go home late or even stay overnight again.

Fauste laid back against his arm chair and looked at Melody with his steady ebony eyes, "I think after we have enough toddlers around, it's high ime we hold an event... I'll pay for everything but as you should know, I'm more suited for organising a Halloween party then for a get-together party." He sat up, placing his arms on the table and placing his head on one of them, propping it up, "So I need your help."

"Halloween?" Melody asked with a giggle. She secretly agreed though she didn't want to say it out loud. "And since I'm a teacher here too, it's only logical I pay half of it," she added.
"My help?" her eyebrows shot up with a quizzical look, "well, what kind of event do you want?" she propped her arms up, resting her head on her palms.

"A fun one?" Fauste replied with a raised eye brow, "Scavenger hunt, fishing... I'll use one of the swimming pools in the basement and add magic to it." He gave a slight smirk, "Nobody's going to catch fish if I can help it."

Taking out a notebook from one of the drawers on his table, he opened it up to a fresh page and took out a pen. "Come on, think of something."

"What's a fishing game if no one catches fish?" Melody asked, trying not to laugh.
She closed her blue eyes and tried to think, "Err...maybe we should give them plushies? Kids love plushies," she nodded. "Just look at the way Logan clings on to Luc," she added, leaning back slightly in her seat.

"Logan... He's the oldest aside from Seth." He commented as he jolted down some note down on the notebook. "And I need to organise a lesson for him soon... He's too clingy to that plushie for his age, but plushies seem like a good idea."

He wrote down, or rather scribbled down, some more words before looking a Melody again, "They'll catch no fish... I don't want fish in my swimming pool. They'll catch other stuff, like some tinkets and such."

Melody shrugged,"So what if he clings on to Luc? It's just a phase most kids go through," Silently chuckling, she remembered herself bringing her unicorn plushie that she got as a baby everywhere.

"Okay then, no fishies," she obliged. "We could also have hide and seek! The centre is big enough and has lots of hidey-holes, I presume,"

"Don't talk like that... You're sending shivers up my spine and I'm usually the one doing that." He smirked a little, "No hide and seek. There are things around there that are out-of-bounds for the children, especially the equipment in the training floors."

Suddenly, a black cat jumped out from the shadows, landing on the table. It eyed the two adults with its sharp yellow eyes before leaping down from the table, vanishing from thin air.

"Now Seth will know what we are doing..."

Melody laughed, "Fine," her eyes suddenly fell on the black cat which suddenly disappeared as fast as it slunk in.

"And why would that be a problem?"

"He'll start pestering me to help out," Fauste answered, "And sending that cat after me whereever I go."

Melody raised her eyebrows in question, "The cat is a stalker instead of a starer now?" she quipped.

"That thing stares while stalking." He replied with a frown as he stood up, and opened the door to his office. Outside stood a young man. He had jet black hair, tanned skin, bright black eyes and has a bow and an arrow carrier strapped to his back. The black cat was in his arms. He gave a 'Opps!' and stumbled back a step.

"Opps is right," Fauste said, pulling the young man in, "Seth! What do you think you were doing outside my office? You know I hate people eavesdropping on my conservations. Isn't that cat of yours enough? Or do you want to crap up an excuse to try to convince me?"

"Aw... Come on, Dad!" Seth replied cheekily as he held out the cat, "Bast is such a cute kitty! And besides, what's going on in here that you don't want me to listen in on?" He winked at Melody, and placed Bast down on the floor.

"Seth, I have some things to remind you on. Number one, stop calling me 'Dad'." Fauste replied, taking a seat in his chair, interlocking his fingers as he placing his elbows on the table. Looking at Seth, he leaned on them, and continued talking, "Number two, if anything happens between me and her of that kind, kill me. That's obviously not Fauste Shojo, but someone impersonating as me. Number three, Bast is a crazy cat, not a cute one."

"Piff... You're no fun at all, Dad!"

"And number four, don't talk back when spoken to." He raised an eye brow, and pointed to an empty seat beside Melody, "Since you're already here, might as well join in the discussion."

Melody tried not to laugh at the conversation exchanged between Seth and Fauste. She leaned back, "Fauste's right, Seth, what the hell can go on in here with me and him?" she blinked her innocent blue eyes at him.

Seth rolled his eyes as he took a seat, "Dad here, is old already. A few years down the road and no one would want him!"

"Shut your trap." Fauste mumbled. Seth opened his open to argue, but nothing came out. He looked shocked for a moment, and Bast jumped up on the table, staring at Fauste angrily.

"You too Bast. Get down my table, or Seth gets it." Fauste glared back, and Bast gave a loud meow as a protest before snuggling on Seth's lap.

"Okay, let's continue with the planning..."

Melody let herself emit a small laugh before lapsing into her thoughts. She had stopped thinking about releationships since...since Richard went overseas. And she had never heard from him ever since. Angry and hurt, it wasn't a good thing that Marcell had gotten her into a fight and she left in a fury to Gaia.

She shook her head to clear that thought and said, "Okay, so far we have fishing, without fish," she emphasized the 'without fish' phrase, "and plushies for them. What else do we have?" she asked.

Seth raised an eye brow and opened his mouth, forgetting that he can't speak. Frowning, he picked up a piece of paper from the table, and wrote down, 'If there's no fish, why call it fishing?' Seth gave Fauste a questioning look.

"Because there is no other suitable term to use." Fauste simply answered, running a hand though his hair, "Unless you can give me a better term?" Seth shook his head at the question, indicating a no.

"So, other then fishing and a scavenger hunt, I'm also thinking of game which involves shooting a moving target." Fauste turned to Seth with a smirk, "And Seth can look after that stall, since you'e the oldest... Plus I trust your skills with your bow and arrow." Seth gave a pround smile at this, and nodded happily.

He wrote down on the piece of paper, 'Agreed!'

"Swim?" Kyun echoed, watching the pengiun jump into the water, and giggled. Tugging at Sesshomaru's top, she pointed. She wanted to do that! She nodded her head. It looked so cold, and nice and...

"Eeek!" she giggled. Look, a baby pengiun! Micmicing the noises, she flapped her arms.

Look, she could pretend to be a penguin!

'They are graceful swimmers,' The television speakers continued, 'And normally, while the adults are off fishing in the sea, the baby penguins all cluster together. Mainly for warmth, but also for protection against the many predators that hunt them for food.'

Sesshomaru couldn't help but smile a little. Okay, the baby penguins were kind of cute, and swimming looks like fun... And they way they walked was funny. He looked at Kyun and managed to give her a grin.

Kyun nodded her head. See? Sessh knew how to smile! "Sesshmoru can smile." she said, grinning. Or at least, a mangled version of it. Pointing back to the tv, she nodded solemnly.

One day, she would buy herself a penguin.

With a giggle, she watched.

Melody gave a grin, "So that 's another game on our list," she said happily, "What else?"

Sesshomaru didn't know how to reply. For one, his vocab is limited and secondly, he can't deny the truth. He don't smile often. Turning back to the television, he saw that the grey colored baby penguins were standing together. A bird flew over them, watching with heir beady eyes.

Suddenly, it caught sight of a stray baby penguin. It quickly grabbed it, and flew away with the penguin still alive in its beak. Sesshomaru pressed another button on the remote quickly.

"I need your ideas." Fauste replied, looking at Melody, "Why the hell did you think I call you over for?" He jotted down more notes, his handwritting bearly readable. Seth gave a nod, and wote down, 'If dad has to give all the ideas, we'll have a nice boring party.'

Kyun let out a little shriek at the sight, her eyes widening. When Sesshomoru changed the channel however, she wasn't so sure if she was happy or sad. She wanted to see the end of _that_.

Patting his arm, she frowned. She wanted to see it _again_. and she'd protect him.

Sesshomaru raised an eye brow, "Sure?" He didn't need protecting, he wasn't sure about Kyun though.

He pressed randomly until he went back to the penguin channel. It shows the poor devouring the baby penguin, blood on it's beak. Many other birds its kind crowded around, wanting a piece of penguin meal.

'However, sometimes, a baby penguin will stray from its group and end up as a meal to the predators flying above...'

Melody pondered for a moment, trying not to laugh at what Seth had written on the paper. "We probably could have a barbeque or a buffet," she said after thought, "the only problem is choosing which,"

Kyun immediatly clasped her hands over her eyes, peeking over the window given to her through her third and fourth finger. Watching, she looked at Sessh, her eyes widening.

Wasn't he scared at all?

Still, in a wierd way, it was kind of cool to watch. In a wierd way. "Ick." she said, grimacing.

But that didn't mean she looked away.
Sesshomaru raised an eye brow at the scene. It was disturbing, all the blood and body bits of the once cute fluffy penguin begin eaten up. However, it was interesting to say the least. He guessed taht if you have friends to back you up, it just means that you're weak to do things by yourself.

"Hm..." He replied, changing the channel. They had have enough of penguins for the day, he decided.

"We'll have both then," Fause eplied as he write down another line on the notebook, "Anything else?"

Kyun giggled. Pressing the buttons somewhat randomly, she landed on a channel vaguely playhouse disney-esque.

And laughed.

Well, this was a change! "Singing" along to the tune on TV, she turned to Sesshy. Well, would he sing too? She nudged him to get him to sing about... wait. Was that an apple? And a banana? hmmm...

"My brain's dead," she joked. Melody jerked her head to Seth, "Does he have any ideas?"

An apple and a banana? Sesshomaru frowned. Maybe the penguin channel was nicer, although this was interesting as well. The tune was catchy, but he didn't 'sing' along like Kyun did. Instead, he stared at the screen with a puzzled look.

What is this channel all about?

----------------------------------------

Fauste looked at Seth for a moment, "Fine, speak."

Seh opened his mouth, "Now this is better! You and your black magic! No wonder you're still left on the shelf after so many years! Dad, you should learn to be more polite and learn to control your temper! And-"

"You want to be mule again?"

"Fine... I suggest an apple bobbing thingy! I'm sure everyone will have fun!" He turned to Melody with a smile, "Right?"

Kyun rolled her eyes, almost. Poking him gently, she slightly exaggerated the noises coming out of her mouth. Alright. So it wasn't really adhering to the words on the screen, BUT... she was sure it sounded better.
"No." Sesshomaru countered, "You sing alone." He frowned, and wondered why the tune was so catchy. If it gets any catchier, he might start singing along as well...

Kyun giggled. She stopped though, frowning when he didn't sing along.

Wait a minute...

Getting up, she rushed to the door and closed it, making sure that no one was in the other end first.

See? Now no one else would hear him! Running back, she sat back down, and nodded. It was going to end soon. It had been on for so long!
"No!" Sesshomaru protested. He was going to resist the catchy tune of the song! He was not going to sing along! He was not going to start singing to that stupid, catchy tune...

He started humming softly for two seconds, then stopped. He turned to look at Kyun with a slight pout, "Happy?"

Melody stifled her mouth, trying not to laugh at Seth's indigance. "Well, it could be fun," she said, "But," she amended, "most of them are toddlers and their teeth are just growing. Apples are...hard,"she ended, a little worried that the toddlers might hurt their teeth.

"We can make dad enhence their teeth?" He suggested, looking at Fauste.

"I'm a Necromancer, not the god of dentists." Fauste rolled his eyes, "Nor the god of teeth. So Melody's right. We can't have apple bobbing unless they want their teeth to hurt."

"God of dentists?" Seth echoed, and laughed, clutching his stomach, "That's a good one!"

Melody laughed, "I agree," she said in the midst of giggles.

"So what else is there, oh god of dentists?" she said, using a mockingly funny tone, before cracking up again.

"Shut up!" Fauste grumbled, "You two are a beter pair then another one of you paired with me!" He shook his head, "I pity the both of you."

Kyun beamed. Nodding her head, she switched the channel to a simple news informorcial.

"Uh huh." she said, nodding her head. See? It was good to sing.

"Pity?" Melody echoed, not understanding a word he was saying, "And no matchmaking pairs, I have completely no interest in any guys," she rolled her eyes.

"Sheesh..." Sesshomaru answered, looking away from Kyun, his face a little pink from blushing. Stupid catchy tune...

"Nobody would want you anyway," Fauste smirked, "Right? That's why you said that."

Melody fell silent at this remark, her heart hurting more than her sleep-deprived head. Was that why Richard lost contact with her? She stood up, pushing her chair back so violently that it made a screeching sound. Averting her eyes, she took a deep breath, "I need to go to the toilet," trying to keep her voice steady.

When Melody was out of ear shot, Seth whispered, "Dad, I think you made her mad with your words."

"Must be a former boyfriend or something," Fauste replied, "Who cares?" He looked at the direction Melody went, actually a little concerned. She could take his cruel jokes normally...

Melody entered the ladies and locked the door behind her, not wanting anyone to see her in this state. It's been...a few years and yet she was still so shaken up over this. She splashed some cold water on her face. Don't cry, she told herself, knowing she would lose control over herself and her powers once she got heavily emotional.

Bast sat at the edge of the toliet, observing with almost golden eyes. Without as much as a single sound, she dissapeared into the shadows and appeared back on Seth lap.

"Melody's really upset about something..." Seth frowned, "Very upset."

"And?"

"Talk to her! I mean, be a friend... Be a man!"

"Right..." Fauste replied, and looked away. Maybe Seth's right for once... And he was curious why Melody's in this state.

Melody gave another deep breath, leaning her forehead against the cool tilest. "Stop...thinking..about it..." she mumbled to herself, hitting her head on the wall with every word.

Fauste stood up, and walked towards the direction of the toilets. "Seth, you sit and wait, I'll be back ASAP."

"Yes, dad."

Fauste leaned against the wall outside the female toilet, he could hear sounds coming from within. He tapped lightly on the door, "Melody, you're taking awfully long..."

Melody jumped when she heard a knock and Fauste's voice drifting through the door. 'Can't there be any privacy in a toilet? 'she thought irritatedly. She entered a cubicle quickly, locking herself inside. "I...uh...have a stomachache," she called back, making her voice sound steady, "Girls stuff," she added quickly.

"Hm?" Fauste answered in an almost embaressed manner, "Right... I thought I heard banging just now... Plus the sound of water, and I can feel a little bit of anger." He smirked to himself. "Why? Thinking of your past?"

Fauste didn't know anything about Melody before, even after, she came. He knew that she was human, a female and a fire mage. Nothing more... But it's true that she didn't know anything about his past either.

Melody's face flamed in embarrassment as she leaned against the locked cubicle door, "I told you why I'm in here and I'm sure you don't want to know the details," she answered back, trying to keep herself from cursing out loud. For all she knew, there were some Krystals around listening.

Fauste took out his pack of cigarettes, and pulled out a stick. Flicking the cover of his lighter open, he lighted up the stick of cigarette. He held it between his fingers. He had promised Dragain not to smoke, but...

"Right..." Fauste replied, "Don't make me go in there to check if you're crying or not!"

Melody raised her eyebrows, "Like you'd dare to some in," she said indigantly. She wasn't sure if he would really come in here, but it would be embarrasing if he did. She rubbed at her face, trying not to make the tear-streaks so obvious.

"Like I dare. This is my house, remember?" He looked at the cigarette wistfully. Great, he hate promises. Throwing it on the ground, he extinguished it out by stepping on it with his boots.

Slowly, he opened the door to the female toilet. Seeing nobody but a closed cubicle, he walked in. His boots made a sound on the slightly wet floor, and he tapped on the door of the cubicle Melody was in. "Would you open up, or would you want me to open it for you?"

Melody winced, 'He actually came in!' she thought indigantly. "When the hell did you change gender?" she yelled, quickly covering her mouth when she realised that she just sweared. Great, she grumbled inwardly.

"And don't you dare come in," she added, sitting down after closing the top of the toilet seat and crossing her arms in anger.

"You could normally take my little remarks, so why the heat up today?" Fauste asked as he stood outside the cubicle, "A blast from the past, perheps? Can't be worse then mine..." He stuffed his hands into the pockets on his pants.

"Hm... You never know. Maybe I can help?" He asked with a soft laugh, "Is the one you're seeking your boyfriend? Who's the unlucky man?"

Melody raised her eyes. Fauste had a bad past? All she knew that he had a step brother his fiancee as family. Nothing else. At his next remark, she could feel her anger slowly boil up again. 'Stop mentioning him.' she thought heatedly, cleching her fists, not noticing a soft pulsing red glow emitting from them, "He's dead for all I care," she said softly.

Kyun giggled, watching the way he blushed. Boys could be so silly sometimes! Notting her head, she redirected her attention back to the TV, trying to focus on the news.

Except... it was boring.

Turning her attention back on the boy (he was much more fun) she tilted her head, staring.

"I can feel the heat." Fauste grinned, knowing that losing one's emotions means that it would be easile to get to them... And their souls. "What if he's still alive? Gaia is located in another dimension from many others. Like the one I came from."

He eyed his packet of cigarettes once again, "And maybe he can't find you... Like you can't fine him."

----

Sesshomaru looked away again. Why was she looking at him like that? He pondered, playing with the hems of his sleeves absentmindedly.

"Where Kyun's parents?"

Kyun frowned at the question. Parents? Oh, right. "Blythe?" she asked. She shrugged. Shopping, probably. She pointed outside, and nodded her head. "Buying?" she said, trying to get her point across.

"Sesshmoru's?"

Melody glared down at her glowing hands and gave a derisive snort, "Couldn't find me?" she shook her head angrily, 'He just never bothered to write back when I hadn't come here,' she screamed mentally. Shaking her hands once again, she closed her eyes and tried to meditate and calm down.

"With weird guy." He answered, "Fauste, me thinks." He nodded. What was taking them so long?

------

"Yep, you know how many years I searched for Gaia? It's a good thing I don't age." He walked towards the mirror and washed his hands, smirking to himself. Slowly, the truth will be out... "Maybe he's doing the same thing?"

"Weeer?" Kyun said. That sounded fun too! Getting up, she nodded. "Find?" she asked. Yes. Why don't they both go and find them? It certainly sounded like more fun than watching the news.

"Kay."

Sesshomaru stood up, and left the television on as he walked towards the door. Opening it, he nodded, "Walk around to find."

Melody fell silent, her eyes still closed, mediating slowly. Her tense shoulders relaxed as she breathed in and out slowly. Suddenly, a buzzing in her pocket ensued. Her eyes snapped open and she answered her handphone, "Hello?"

"Mummy?" a toddler's voice said, and she smiled, feeling the red glow fading away from her hands. "Gywn...um...Mummy will be back for dinner, kay? I have work to do," she replied, feeling a warm fuzzy feeling inside her for the little Krystal. Thank goodness, she thought. She didn't want to reveal too much of her past to Fauste, it would only be an advantage to him.

Kyun smiled, and then nodded her head. Yes, they would go! Bounding out of the room, she skittered to a stop in front of the hallway, looking left... and then looking right.

Turning back to Sessh, she frowned. Wait a minute. Did he actually know the way, then? "Go quickly." she said, nodding. "Find weero."

"Happy now? I think there are eyes watching..." Fauste flicked the water off his wet hands at the sink, "Cats' eyes... Stupid Bast, get out before I take a liking to silencing animals." There was a soft 'mew' and then Bast appeared beside the entrance.

"Out!" Fauste frowned, causing the cat to disappear once more. "Now then, would you like me to find him for you? Your children need a father, right?"

-------

Sesshomaru looked around him. The place looks all the same, white walls, marble paved floors... He sniffed the air.

"Here!" He announced, turning left.

"No need to," Melody replied, clicking off her handphone and replacing it in her pocket. She stood up, straightening her skirt and unlocked the door, opening it, "Let's get back to the plans, I need to hurry back home,"

Kyun blinked, startled. Had he just sniffed the air? With a conspiratory giggle, she dasshed after him, nodding. "Pretty." she said, pointing outside. But this was more important. This Weero.
Who was it?

Fauste smiled, "Go home now, Seth and I will take care of the plans. Just know that you will need to take care of a stall at the party." He flicked off the remaining water from his hands and walked out the door. He disappeared down the corridor quickly, his footsteps getting softer until they disappeared as well.

Sesshomaru turned right, then left then banged right into a stranger. He fell down on the floor with a soft bump.

"Sesshomaru!" Saniiro picked him off the floor, "We're been looking all over for you!" He noticed Kyun, gave her a small smile, "Hello, what is your name?"

"A stall?" Melody echoed. "Tell me..." her voice trailed off as her handphone rang again.

"Miss, Gywn has gone to look for you," Lyallana's voice floated through the receiver.

"What?" Melody yelled back, worried. What if...

"Someone who said he knows you said he'll fetch her here," Lyallana replied, "Don't worry,"

Melody's jaw dropped open, eyes widening. Please, please don't tell me...It couldn't be Marcell, Lyallana knew him well enough not to let him in the house. Her hand dropped to her side and the cellphone clattered to the floor noisily when she heard the name.

Richard.

Kyun paused, staring up. Blinking with surprise, she asked. "Weero?"

Hmmm... maybe not. "My name is Kyun thank you please." she said politedly.

"Weero?" Saniiro echoed, and looked at Sesshomaru. "What have you been talking about?"

"Weird, Fauste." Sesshomaru replied, "Find parents and Fauste." He squrimed in Saniiro's arms and demended to be let down at once. Saniiro gave a laugh and placed Sesshomaru on the floor.

"Hello Kyun, nice to meet you too."

Leaving her cellphone lying on the floor, with Lyallana saying, "Hello?" confusedly, Melody ran. She reached her office and gasping, opened the door and slid inside, fumbling to lock the door. It looked like she was going to stay here all night again.

A voice rang into his mind, "Dad, Melody's gone mad! She's in her room, I... Uh, Bast saw her ran there in a fury. Must be something going on." Fauste frowned, and turned to change his direction to Melody's room. He flipped his hair behind his band absentmindedly.

Melody pulled out the phone line to her office and stumbled onto the couch, weary with all the running. She shook her head slowly, not believing what she had just heard.

Fauste placed his hands on the handle and turned it. As he had expected, it was locked, "Yo, Melody? You in there?" He knocked on the door gently, hoping that he need not break it down.

Melody shut her eyes, massaging her head as a headache throbbed slowly. Her eyes flew open anxiously, "Shut the door! Don't let anyone in!" she yelled.

Fauste frowned. Melody must really be distracted, he hadn't even opened the door yet. He mumbled something under his breath and the door unlocked from the inside with a 'click'. The door creaked open by itslf as the man entered.

"What the hell are you up too?" Fauste asked, closing the door behind him. He left it unlocked.
Kyun blinked. No, this didn't look like a weero after all. Dejected and somewhat relieved when Sessh came back to ground level, she nodded her head.

"Blythe will come soon." she said, nodding her head. And then she'd have to go home.

Melody's eyes widened, hugging her legs to her chest. "Lock that door, dammit!" she yelled at him. "Don't let anyone in the adoption centre! Say we're...closed or something!" she hid her face in her arms.

"For you?" Fauste raised an eye brow, "Are you under attack or something? Shall I, uh... Eliminate him?" His voice became dark and low as he sat down on a chair, "Shall I take his soul?"

------

"Well then," Saniiro laughed, "Sesshomaru needs to be home now." He took Sesshomaru's hand in his own, "Bye Kyun."

As they walked away, Sesshomaru waved to Kyun, "Bye bye!"

Melody huddled on the couch, "Just close the doors, you idiot!" she said angrily, "No one's asking you to kill anyone."

Suddenly, she froze as the doorbell echoed throughout the walls.

Idiot? How dare she!

He clutched his fist, and leaned against the wall after sanding up from his seat, "Who is this person anyway? Piff, you look like you've seen a ghost... And I've had experience with them." He looked away angrily, "Fine then, I'll leave you to drown in your own sorows... Or whatever."

He walked out of the room, locking the door behind him. He stood outside the door as he send a telepathy message to the new comer, "Just come in, no need to ring, This may be a house, but yeah... Walk straight and turn left to the first corridor you see. Then take the elevator to the fifth floor and walk straight."

Melody bunched herself together tighter, shivering, a dazed message in her head. 'He's here,' her mind repeated blankly and she felt herself shuddering with sobs.

Gywn tugged on Richard's hand, "Mommy whwere?" she whined. He gave her a small smile as a telephaty message came through, "We're going to look for her, okay?"

Fauste had eyes literally everywhere in the building. Not cameras, those were only for the labs and high security areas. His 'eyes' were invisible, dead and being controlled to a certain extend. They have a will, but when Fauste needs them...

"A male, eh? And Melody's child." Fauste thought to himself as a smirk formed on his lips, "Must be that guy then..."

Melody felt her sobs subsiding and closed her eyes again, meditating. However, something kept distracting her from meditation...Damn. she thought angrily. Gywn ran ahead of Richard, impatient to see Melody. "Ow," she exclaimed, bumping into a man.

Fauste looked down, and saw a child.... Melody's Krystal child, in fact. He smiled and asked, "Hey, you alright?" His eyes looked up to see a man, one that is a human... Or at least he looks like a normal human to the Necromancer... Maybe another mage?

"You are?"

Gywn nodded her head and stepped away from the tall adult, her wide eyes turning to Richard.

Richard smiled back at the man, "I'm Richard Gaeten. Is Melody here?" he asked.
Fauste smiled, almost darkly as he replied, "Melody? Yeah, she's inside the room." Once again, the door opened from the inside of the room, and Fauste walked over to behind Melody, "Melody, you have guests!" He sat down beside her on the couch.

He lifted a hand, and placed it over Melody's shoulders, almost hugging her.

Melody winced, 'What the hell is he doing?' she thought, squirming slightly at Fauste's touch. She froze when she saw Gywn running to her...not that, but the man standing behind.

Richard glared at the man, wondering if he was Melody's new boyfriend. A hot swoop of anger rushed through his stomach.

Fauste ran a hand though his raven hair, mixing his white fringe with the black hair at the back. "Melody, who is this?" He asked, looking at Richard with a faked curious expression. He smiled charmingly, a hand finding itself playing with Melody's hair.

Melody tried to move away as his fingers played with her red hair. 'Okay,' she thought. 'This is defintely not like him,' she looked down at Gywn and gave a fake smile to Richard, "Are you the new babysitter? Thanks for bringing her over,"

Richard's eyes clouded, "Mel, I'm Richard, remember?"

"Hmmm..." Melody said, pretending to think, "I had a friend named Richard once, but after he went overseas, I assumed he was dead," she shrugged. "If you see him, tell him that he broke his promise," she held his steady gaze.

"A babysitter?" Fauste echoed innocently with puppy-like eyes, his fingers twriling Melody's hair, "I thought most of them are female? Hello, and welcome, Richard. I hope you enjoy your stay here. I'm Fauste Shojo, the owner of this building and adoption agency."

He wanted to laugh, the man was certainly enjoying himself. He stopped playing with Melody's hair, and smiled, "So... What brings you here, Richard?"

"I'm not a babysitter," Richard shot back, "I'm Mel's friend." He wasn't really starting to like this guy. He stared at the red-haired girl, but she averted her eyes from him, talking to Gywn softly.

Melody didn't like this. At all. She could briefly guess why Fauste was doing this, but she couldn't imagine him so...weird before.

"Hm..." Fauste said, removing his arm from Melody's shoulders, "So you are Melody's friend and is becoming a babysitter to help her?" He leaned against the back of the couch as he played with the rems of his coat, "That's really kind of you."

Richard shook his head exasperatedly. "I'm not a babysitter and I never will be," he frowned, his eyes still on Melody. He knew that when she got angry, she either blew up or ignored the person totally. And now, he was getting the silent treatment.

"Why don't you go home?" he asked her.

"Gaia is my home," Melody replied, knowing what he was hinting at, "I'll go home after ironing out some details."

He shook his head, "No, where your family and friends lives. They miss you."

"I have family and friends here," Melody said, getting thorougly irritated.

"Her family is right here," Fauste interrupted, pointing to himself and Gywn, "Gaia is her home now... She lives here with me and also she has her own house... I presume you know of her house?"

He smirked, well, it was kind of true. This is his house and Melody has a room here, plus she has her own house to return to.

"You're her family?" Richard almost yelled, while Gywn winced, pulling at Melody's skirt. He could handle her having kids; Lyallana had explained to him where they had come from, but...

'This is getting too far.' Melody moaned inwardly, slinking down on her seat. Damn, she never wished for this to happen!

Fauste laughed out, and placed his hand on his forehead, covering half his eyes. Standing up, he grinned, "Let me see... Richard, Melody's boyfriend... Probably even fiancee, lost contact with her. After such a long time, you visited her but she's obviously upset with you."

He smirked, "Richard, my friend, I have no intention of snatching Melody. I already have my own... Love." He brushed down his rather messy hair, "And I have enough females after me to even go into a relationship. Melody's just a friend and... Fellow worker."

He winked at Melody, "He obviously cares, I had fun while it lasted though!"

Melody glared at him, "It isn't funny. Your guess is wrong, and like you have females chasing after you," she turned and talked out of the room, irritated and her head throbbing badly.

Gywn looked at the adults. She didn't understand a word they were saying at all and toddled out after Melody.

"Great, great..." Fauste shrugged and walked out of the room, a light smirk on his face, "Go talk to her, Richard... Don't make her grumpy. I want to continue my taunting without being shouted at."

Richard cocked his head, staring at Fauste. Didn't he even know that she would blow her top now to anyone who spoke to her? Melody was highly emotional when she was mad and he didn't want that to happen.

Melody went into her office after calling Lyllana to pick Gywn up, who fortunately was already outside. 'Guys,' she thought, an angry pulsing red light emitting from her clenched palms, 'think they're everything!'

"I've only known her for a few months," Fauste seemed to answer Richard's thoughts, halting in his steps. "And let's just say that we don't click that well." He smirked, "How did you end up on her bad side? Care for a cup of coffee?"

Richard was surprised when Fauste actually answered his mental questions. He sighed, " Sure, I have nothing better to do anyway," he agreed.

Melody plopped onto the sofa, feeling her whole body flame with anger. Wait a minute. She jumped up and moaned at the light scorch on the sofa, shaking her head. "This is just not my day," she said aloud.

"Come on then," Fauste nodded, "So, what really happened?"

What really happened? Richard thought. "It all started when I went overseas to study," he started. "We did promise each other to write, but I lost my way on a skiing trip my school held and met an old wizard. It turned out that he was looking for a disciple, so I accepted his offer to train under him. The problem was, the cave he lived in was far from any cities, so I gave up trying to communicate with the outside world."he frowned. Perhaps that was why she was so mad.

"When I came back, I heard she had a big tiff with her brother and simply just stormed off, so I began looking fo her." he shrugged, not wanting to mention what Mr Flame had said to him about the betrothal.

"I think she's mad about you cutting off contact," Fauste frowned, "Woman, they're so troublesome." He thought for a moment, "So, what do you plan to do?"

"Let her cool down first," Richard answered. "She's really emotional and can hold a grudge for quite long if she wants to. Lyallana told me she fumed for about a week and almost lost control of her powers after what happened with her brother, "he frowned.

Oh great. Melody stared down at herself. She was practically glowing with her fire magic. She took a few deep breaths and gave up. Even mediating wouldn't work now. 'So maybe Marcell was right?' she thought angrily, causing the glow to pulse more rapidly. 'He should have gotten these powers.Boys can control them better. ' she mimicked his proud voice, snorting angrily. She felt a wave of dizziness as her body heated up. She didn't know what happened next, everything went black as the floor came up to meet her.

"Lost control?" Fauste echoed, his brows knitting together in a frown, "Hm... A magician should always learn to control their power, especially if it's a gift. Bad things could happen if you don't learn to control it... I've had experiences."

He frowned again, "This isn't good, I suggest you call up that Lyallana person to check on her. We might not get along well, but she is a sort of a friend."

Richard nodded, "She found her powers when someone bullied her at school and she couldn't take it. She's better now, but her emotions can get the better of her."
His ears perked up, "Did you hear a thud?" he asked Fauste.

"Yes I did heard something," Fauste looked away, "But I'm sure someone else will get there before us..." Suddenly, Seth came running towards the two males. He panted, "Melody... Faint... Bast said... Downstairs..." He tried to catch his breath.

"Melody faint downstairs?" Fauste frowned, "Come on, Rich. She needs you."

Richard's jaw dropped, "Wha...?" he managed to say. Melody fainted? "Where?" he asked the newcomer, already running in the direction he came from,"

"Near... Entrance!" Seth answered invetween pants. Fauste looked at him for a moment, "You need more training with long distance running... Look at you! You're panting like a... Dog." He frowned, running up the stairs that lead to where Melody was.

"I... No... Need... More... Training!" Seth panted.

"Humph, you do."

Richard stopped a distance from where Melody lay unconscious. 'Oh dear,' he muttered. This was not good. Her whole body was flaring with fire magic. 'When she dwells on the past, it's usually not a good thing. And when emotions get better of her...' his thought trailed off. Marcell must have done something to her. He was sure of it.

"We need water, or ice" Fauste twitched, "My poor building! Plus Melody's burning up! Seth, go get Saniiro. Now." Seth groaned, and set off again, trying to look for his uncle.

"Will the element of ice counter this?"

Kaylee snoozed on her perch in one of the many rooms in the adoption centre. Suddenly, she perked up, listening. Something was not right. The phoenix spread it's large wings and flew, halting at the entrance, her eyes widening in horror at her unconcious owner, who was glowing with a pulsing red light. "You!" she glared at Richard.

"Kaylee?" Richard asked, shocked.

"What did you expect, Father Christmas?" the phoenix snarled, "First you dump her, now you...." she shook her head angrily,I've never seen her in this state before!"

"And all because she can't control her emotions." Fauste raised an eye brow at the... Bird. "I thought pesonnal pets aren't allowed in the building? This is stupid, what are rules for if you guys keep breaking them?" He ran a hand through his hair. Why was Seth taking so long?

"You haven't answered my question. Can ice counter Melody's fire?" Fauste asked, obviously rather irritated, "It's not mage's magic, but still..."

Kaylee snorted, "She normally wouldn't, she can control them quite well. Although this guy..." she threw another dirty look at Richard. She shook her feathered head, as she answered, "I'm not sure if it would, but it is worth a try."

Fauste frowned, "Might?" Looking at the glowing Melody, he couldn't help but wish that ghosts can absorb heat or somehing. He closed his eyes and sighed softly, thoughts going through his head.

Quick footsteps approached them, and Seth returned with a silvered hair male. He walked towards Melody, and squarted down next to her, "Fauste, may I have the details please?"

"Lost control of her powers, because of emotions..." Fauste replied, his eyes still closed, "Like you have them." Saniiro ignored his step-brother's statement and placed a hand on Melody's forehead. A light blue light emitted from it, his face empty of expression as a gentle wind started picking up in the building before the temperature dipped quickly.

Melody groaned as she struggled to sit up. Kaylee immediatedly flew towards her owner, "Are you alright?" Melody's eyes were full of fright when she hid part of her face in Kaylee's feathers, "Kay...Kaylee...who...who are these...people?" she stammered, shivering.

Saniiro smiled to himself, it worked... ALthough the building will stay cold for at least a day or two. He had used quite a high level of magic to balance out Melody's. He never knew a human could have that level of power leakage.

He removed his hand, the glow fading away. "Miss?" He asked, "Are you alright?" He stood up, and took a step back.

Fauste groaned, "Now the place is cold!"

"Saves the bill for air-conditioning!" Seth replied with a grin, "And so cool! Uncle Saniiro, can you make it snow in the building?"

"Your father might kill me for that."

"He wouldn't dare!" Seth laughed, "Or Aunt Dragain will kill him!"

Melody scuttled backward, looking frightened, "Who?" she repeated, clinging onto Kaylee. The phoenix's eyes widened. "Oh dear. On reflex, her powers have wiped out most of her memories. I only hope it'll wear out soon. " she glared at Richard, "Go, before you make it worse."

Richard took a step closer, trying to ignore Kaylee's words, "Mel," he said gently. In horror, she almost threw herself backwards, shaking violently. Who were all these guys? Richard looked concerned and tried to move closer but Kaylee blocked him, "Go. Now." she repeated, her eyes blazing.

"Pardon me," Saniiro smiled kindly, "Maybe you should bring her home? I doubt that she is in any condition to stay any longer, this place is going to become colder before it reaches a stable temperature... Probably a few hours later."

Fauste almost yelled, "What?!" He leaned against the wall, "A few hours? I hate you."

"You'll never change, Fauste." Saniiro replied as he turned to walk away, "Remember, bring her home."

"Take care of her,"Richard sighed, leaving, as Kaylee's eyes followed him to the door.

Melody stared around, hugging herself to make herself warmer. For some reason, her head felt very empty, she couldn't remember anything except for her familiar, Kaylee.

Saniiro turned around, "Temperature is around near 10 degrees. Lowest it can reach is 5 degrees, so I propose everyone leave the building before you freeze. Fauste, would you and Seth care to move over for the time being?"

Fauste crossed his arms, "I'll rather freeze." Seth rubbed his own arms, hugging Bast close to himself, "I'll take up the offer."

Melody's eyes widened. 10 degrees! No wonder she was shivering so much. With the help of Kaylee, she tried to get up, but for some reason, her legs wobbled dangerously and she fell back down. What happened? she thought anxiously, trying to search her memory for something. She winced as her head throbbed, hurting violently.

Seth started sneezing, "Can we go now?"

"Please wait outside," Saniiro nodded, "I'll go get Sesshomaru and Dragain. I doubt that they can stand this temperature, I'll see you outside." He walked away quickly, and after Seth departed, only the stubborn Fauste remained.

"Hm... Bring her out then!"
Kaylee started pulling gently at Melody, "Let's get out of this freezing place." Melody started hestitantly, " I would...but...but...my legs..." she sighed as her legs went numb as she tried to pull herself up again. No luck.

Fauste frowned, and placed Melody's left arm over his shoulders. Helping her up, he placed his his own arm on her waist and started to walk, supporting her with as they walked, "Come on, you really are useless!"

Melody blinked as one of the men suddenly helped her up. She tried to jerk away, "Who are you?" she asked, her expression clouded with uncertainty. Kaylee flew near her side, "He's your fellow worker, Mel, I believe," she explained. Melody's head slid into confusion. Where was this place and what was she doing here?

"Fauste Shojo, but we can wory about names late." Fauste smirked lightly as they neared the door. "You're so heavy! You need to go on a diet soon, or else you'll become a fat woman."

Melody glared at the man, "Fau...Fauste," she repeated slowly. For some reason, the name seemed familiar. She tried not to think too much about it though, when she did, her head hurt madly.

At his second remark, her eyes flashed, "I'm not overweight! At least...I don't think I am," she countered, looking down at herself.

"You are," Fauste smirked, walking on the path that leads to a pair of front gates. "You need a diet... And a workout!" He gave another smirk, but almost dropped Melody when he saw his whole family outside the gate.

"Oh, who's that?" Dragain asked, "A friend?"

"Er... Yeah... Just a friend, nothing more then a friend."

"Hm..."

"No, really!" Fauste protested, placing Melody down on a bench outside, "Come on, believe me?"

Dragain laughed, "I was just kidding! Saniiro told me you would rather freeze then move in with us for the time being? I'm not that frightening, you know."

"Right... I... Uh, don't want to leave the building unattended to."

Kaylee snorted, "Don't listen to him, you're not overweight. In fact, I presume you're underweight," she added, her eyes sweeping over Melody.

Melody stared in curiousity at more people waiting outside. Listening to the conversation Fauste had with a woman, she wondered if she had met her before.

"That's just an excuse, you still hold it against Saniiro?" Dragain asked, walked towards Melody. She held out a hand, "Hello, I'm Dragain. Who might you be?" Fauste pouted, "So what if I do?" He crossed his arms, and looked away.

Melody looked at the outstretched hand for a moment, then smiled and shook it, "I'm Melody," she said, smiling. She turned to look at Fauste, "Does he always act like that?" she asked.

"Fauste has a good exterior, even interior..." Dragain whispered with a wink, "But don't tell him I said that. His ego is bigger then Gaia already." She gave a merry laugh, and said out loud, "Nice to meet you, Melody. Fauste is usually short-tempered, petty, self-centered, egolistic... You get the idea."

Fauste pretended not to hear anything, "Right..."

Melody giggled at Dragain's answer, "I'll be sure to keep that in mind, " she nodded. "Gaia? What is it...?" she realised an unknown word in Dragain's speech that she had never heard before.

"I don't know..." Dragain replied, her tone was one with worry, "Maybe you could tell me about your past? Or you can't remember it?" A figure walked out of the building, and halted beside Dragain, "The building's empty... Except I think Fauste is bent on going back in." Dragain looked up at the male, "I'll think of somehing, Saniiro." She smiled at him.

"My...past?" Melody frowned. She closed her eyes, trying to think of...anything, just anything that she had done or anyone she had met. Her head throbbed even more violently, and she massaged her forehead, shaking her red tresses, "Nothing." she replied softly, looking down at the floor with slight fright. Why couldn't she remember anything else?

Dragain frowned, and then brightened up, "How about if I tell you a little about mine? Maybe it'll help you remember yours... Memories burried in your heart are usually the more important ones."

She sat down beside Melody, and spoke, "I'll start with escaping here, escaping from my fiancee, which is Saniiro here. I don't want to be tied down with marriage. He knew, and tried to come after me, and all I left him was an address to my house on Gaia."

She paused, "He didn't come for years. I was really pissed off... Anyway, he finally came after a while, and I found out that you can never be angry with someone you love... So it's a happy ending for us." She smiled happily, "How about you? Do you have anyone important?"

Melody rocked herself back and forth on the bench slowly, squeezing her eyes shut. For some reason, when that man...what was his name again? Oh yeah, Fauste helped her out, an image had flashed through her head. One of his arms was draped around her shoulders, her fingers playing with her hair while a kid was beside her and...there was another man. However, all she could see in her mind was a black silhouette. She told Dragain about this, frowning. Who was that guy?

"Richard." Fauste interrupted before Dragain could open her mouth, "The man was Richard... Melody's boyfriend of sorts. Seems to me he's the reason for her emotions to go all crazy."

"You placed your hands over her shoulders?"

"I was just teasing Richard.... You jealous?"

"Heh. You wish."

Dragain smiled, "So, can you remember anything else?"

"Ri...Richard?" Melody repeated, shaking her head, "I've never heard that name before.And...I have a boyfriend?" she asked in horror, widening her eyes. When did she have a boyfriend and why didn't she know anything?

Kaylee gave an angry shrill cry and then muttered under her breath, "It's lucky she can't remember anything about that sicko anyway,"

Dragain looked confused for a second, and then turned to face Kaylee, "If she doesn't face up to her heart and fears, then I think her memories will be better left untouched... Then left her remain in a state of oblivation forever."

Sighing, she turned back to Melody, "So, this 'Richard', he's nothing special huh? I mean, you can't even remember him... MUst be just another guy."

Melody sighed, propping her hands up and laid her face in her palms, "I don't know. It does seem a little familiar...everytime I try to think about it...I don't know..." she shrugged, "My heart feels a little weird, does that mean anything?"

"You need a psychologist to hypnotise you." Dragain smiled sheepishly, "Because we're certainly not getting anywhere... Would you mind if I get Saniiro to a little?" "I'm still studying..." Saniiro protested, but Dragain hushed him. Fauste rolled his eyes, "Don't trust him. Say no!"

"Will it hurt?" Melody said hesitantly, looking at Saniiro, "I mean...I'm just realy confused over everything. I want to know more...but," she closed her eyes briefly, "I am a little afraid," she admitted.

"Hurt?" Saniiro echoed, and shook his head, "It won't hurt. But I'm a little worried on my part, that is, I'm worried that you might not have the courage to face up to your heart at this moment. You see, Miss Melody, the fact that you fainted and caused yourself to lose control of your powers, it is most likely because of this person named 'Richard'."

Dragain blinked, and laughed, "What Saniiro is trying to say is that you might not be able to take the pressure of knowing the truth."

Kaylee stretched her wings, "I'd have to say it was more on Marcell's fault. It's only through Richard that she got hurt, then her brother only made it worse."

Melody turned to look at Kaylee for a moment and turned back to Saniiro, taking a deep breath, "That's why I need to know more." she said, her gaze steely and determined. It was time to learn...and let go.

"Hm... How did she get hurt?" Dragain asked, and Fauste interrupted again, "Richard told me he went under the training of a wizard... I think. And he had tried contacting Melody but because the place where he was training was far from any civilisation, he lost contact. He also said that by the time he returned to Melody's house, she was already gone."

Saniiro nodded, and took out a waist watch. Its silver chain sparkled in the sun and the watch itself has a silver cover over it to protect the hour and second hands. He sat down in front of Melody and held up the watch, dangling it in front of her eyes.

"Look at the face of the watch," He instructed, his unblinking eyes looking at Melody. "And follow it with your eyes... Do not turn your head along with it..." He started swinging the waist watch, to and fro, to and fro.

"Relax... You feel like you're floating on a cloud, your eye lids are heavy and you don't have a thing on your mind..." Saniiro said in a soft, milky voice, his eyes never blinking as he looked at Melody. Suddenly, he stopped swinging the watch, and clicked his fingers loudy, "You're now asleep."

Melody followed Saniiro's instructions, following the swinging watch with her eyes. Indeed, she felt sleepy and her head drooped to a side, breathing slowly.

"It actually works!" Fauste laughed, and Saniiro gave him a glare that shut him up almost instantly. Turning back to Melody, Saniiro asked softly, "Melody, please tell me about Richad... How do you feel about him?"
Kaylee ruffled her feathers, looking at Melody as she started to speak, "I need to start from the beginning. We were best friends since young. Of course, when we became teenagers, something else began to develop." she paused, giving a sigh, "He said he would write when he went overseas to study. I didn't put too much hope in it, I knew long distance relationships were hard to sustain. I sent him letters, even though I knew he might not reply. But, I suddenly recieved a letter, from one of his schoolmates, Brietta. She told me to stop sending foolish notes and included a picture of her and Richard at a prom. It was a bit hurting, but not so shocking. That wasn't the worse part, I guess. My elder brother kept taunting me about me not being wanted, angry over the transfer of powers from my mum to me. One day, he got me so mad, I..I.." she closed her eyes again, "I guess seeing Richard only sparked off the past with my brother. That's really all."

"I said it was more of Marcell's fault!" Kaylee said indigantly, "Although it is Richard's fault partly too..."

Melody drew back, thinking, "I... I have no idea," she admitted, although what Saniiro said seemed logical, "I feel that there might be a possibility, or maybe he just came on the account of friendship,"

"What if it's a one sided love," Saniiro asked, "That girl wants Richard's attention but can't get it. When she saw the letters you sent, she figured that it would be better to get rid of competition... Of cause it didn't work, did it? Richard still came."

Dragain giggled, "Like Fauste!"

The phoenix snickered lightly at that comment as Melody closed her eyes, "I...I really don't know anymore. I never bothered to find out, probably because of the entire hullabaloo at home.

"What! I don't have competition!" Fauste answered, "No way!" Dragain laughed, and placed he hand over her mouth to stop herslef laughing too hard.

"Why don't you want to find out?" Saniiro asked gently, "You still love him, right? I know he feels the same way... It takes a third party to see things, Miss Melody."

Melody reopened her eyes and stared at her red hair, "The feelings are never the same anymore. Some people say, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder. " I never had that problem, for me, it's presence. He wasn't present in my life for quite a long time. And I decided to move on," she finished.

Kaylee sighed, "When is this hypnotising thing stopping?" she asked, a little worried for her owner.

"Not for a while," Saniiro replied firmly. "It's actually making her speak her mind. As her guardian, these words might come in handy one day."

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I've never belived in that," Saniiro replied, "It was awkward, after being apart from the one you love for half a century, to see her again... I understand what you mean."

He glanced at Dragain before looking back at Melody, "If you decided to move on, then why were you so emotional upon seeing him again?"

"It made me think of...what happened at home with Marcell, I guess. He taunted me, made the situation seemed worse than it seemed." Melody replied.

"So you love him no more?" Saniiro asked, "It's better to end the pain then, tell him how you feel. If this drags on, he'll end up like Fauste... In denial."

"Stop using me as an example!"

Melody gave a bitter smile, "I still treat him as my best friend. I'm just... scared that he might leave if I told him. "

"Just tell him," Saniiro whispered and snapped his fingers again, bringing Melody out of hypotism, "Miss Melody, you alright?"

Melody blinked, it was as if she had woke up from a deep sleep. She nodded, bringing her hand to her forehead. She closed her eyes, tsking in slow deep breaths.

Saniiro stood up, and pocketed the waist watch. He held Sesshomaru's hand and led him to a parked car at the side of the road. Dagain followe suit. A piece of paper appeared in Melody's hand.

It wrote, "Follow your heart."

"Follow my heart?" Melody repeated softly, her head still throbbing lightly from recounting her past.

Kaylee fluttered to her shoulder, "Close your eyes, listen to what your heart tells you,"she advised.

Melody gave a little smile, "All I can hear now is my stomach practically begging me for food!"

Fauste looked at the note in Melody's hand, and turned to walk away, "Heh. That brother of mine is no fool. Trust him, or you'll end up huting Richard. Ignorance is not bliss." He walked away quickly, deciding that his heart told him to go to Saniiro's house for the night.

Fauste stared into the cup of coffee, his reflection stared back. A frown tugged at his lips, his mood is rather low... Lower then usual. The man had on a white colored shirt with black baggy pants, and he wore black sneakers on his feet.

He tipped the coffee on his lips and drank it, feeling vexed over his current situation. He needed new staff, and quick!

Liz sat on the footpath in her usuall attire, Her black dreadlocks tied back with purple and green ribbons twined throughout. Her shirt was purple with a green tree-like emblem on the front topped off by a black net singlet. Wristbands and trinkets covered her arms aswell as a tatoo on each arm that looked like a green thorned vine winding up her arms with a rose on the back or each hand connected to the vine. On her bottom half was a black miniskirt with Fluro green stitching and knee high black and purple striped stockings unevenly pulled up so they were baggy. On her feet her most prized possessions, Her Green and black converses.

Next to her was her Worn out backpack and a cardboard sign "Will do magic for food." Her expression on her ivory face was one of boredom, she looked half asleep but in her sky blue eyes was a fire.

She looked over to the cafe running a trinket covered hand through her hair wishing she could have a coffee, all those stuffed shirts in there just throwing their money around while here she was stuck on the street after being thrown out of her work at a plant shop after she had been ACCUSED of steaing which she never did, she was just healing the plants as they were sick.

As she watched the cafe her eyes fell on one man, He looked terrible and moody, but he had coffee. Standing up and dusting herself off she walked over to him and sat down at his table not even bothering to ask if she could. "Tough day?" she asked with a smile, her eyes twinkling making her whole face light up.

Fauste looked up, and the phrase 'If only looks could kill' applied here. There he was, having a bad day and another happy person just comes up to him and disturb his peace... He looked away, and totally ignored the person. Who is she anyway?

"What do you want?" He asked, his voice with a hint of irritation and impatience in it. He saw taht the woman know magic, but first, what kind? He would ask later.

She grinned showing off her white teeth, "Wow someone got off the wrong side of the bed this morning, Or mabye you didnt even go to bed at all...you look sick..." Noticing a basket of complimentary bread on the table she snatched some up and stuffed them in her pockets before chosing one to eat now.

"Well, I dont know what I want...I want, A giant greenhouse. Yes that would be nice. But thats not what you meant now is it? Hmm, Right now im just using you to score free bread rolls and smell the smell of coffee." Taking a large bite of her roll she scratched her nose. "And you look like you have issues you need to discuss, and well i may not be a psychologist but i am just some random bum. That practically the same right?"

Chuckling to herself she pulled a stray strand of hair away from her face revealing her star shaped beauty spot below the corner of her right eye. "Anyway, My name is Liz. I guess that if im having lunch with you you should atleast know my name."

"Fauste Shojo," The male answered sipping his coffee with his black eyes on the female. "And I've always looked sick." Well, it was true, his skin is rather pale, and his pitch black hair and clothing only seem to make it worse... The white tinge on his fringe seems to go along with his skin color, at least.

"A giant greenhouse?" Fauste looked up, his cup empty as he waved a waiter over. He ordered two cups of coffee and some more bread, and then looked at Liz aagin. "Are you, by any chance, a mage? You do know magic, right?"

"Shojo...Wait. Dousnt that mean girl in japanese? Oh no wait thats Shoujo. My bad!" She grinned again, then she looked him over again. "Hmm its called foundation and UV tans, Everyone is doing it nowadays! But I guess its ok if you dont want to be seen going into one of those places, I prefer being pale myself but still your Way Pale." as she saw this Fauste guy ordering two coffee's she gleefully clapped her hands together making a jingling nose from her bangles and wristbands.

"You really know how to make a girl feel special!" she could allready taste the coffee and for once it would be fresh and warm and OOoooh! she was in heaven!

"Mage? Oh umm.." She looked to her sign, usually to the public she would do small kiddy tricks and pass them off as just that, tricks. She knew that mages werent overly accepted into the public and life was hard enough as is...she guessed the guy must just be teasing her. Putting on a sarcastic scary face she tryed not to giggle "Oh yes, im a Mage, Im a nasty witch and if your not careful i'll turn your nose green!" she waved a black nailpolished finger a him. Then she sighed, "Dont be silly, Magic is a thing of fairytales."

As she sighed the tattoo oh her arm sprouted a new leaf as if it was an actual growing plant but she quickly hid it under her trinkets hoping he hadnt seen it.

"Hm... I see..." Fauste answered, his fingers tapping on the surface of the table as he waited for his order to be filled. "So you do not know real magic? Sad really, I was going to offer you a job... I could even supply you with your own greenhouse." He smirked at Liz.

The waiter hurried over and placed a cup of coffee in front of Fauste and a cup in front of Liz. A small basket of bread was put in the middle of the table before he hurried away again.

Liz cocked an eyebrow at Fauste "You really are one kind of crazy, But a job sure does sound good..And the greenhouse is too cood to be true. So lets just say that I AM a mage, What would this job be and why would i want to tell you i am a mage?" Confusing herself a little on what she had said she realised she had almost let it slip, but hopefully the guy would just think her wierd.

Seeing the coffee she swept it up and took a gulp OWWW! it burnt! but she didnt care as it tasted so rich. Her mood improved dramatically and she beamed. "Look, Lets just say I work magic with plants, and I can mix a mean concoction. If you catch what im saying..."

"Crazy? I should have to say that it is an understatement." Fauste grinned, "Not all mages have to be cast out of sociaty..." He looked away, his eyes seeming to glow for a moment as shadowy shapes appeared around their table. As these shapes became clearer, one could see that they were transparent and some have blood on their bodies... Some were even missing body parts.

"Only we can see them right now," Fauste smirked lightly as he sipped his coffee, "And when you see them, they see you." He nodded, "So, do you want the job? Are you good with admin work?"

"Necromancer eh? Interesting.. I have heard many things about the necromancer..err.. way of life." She scrunched her nose at the bodies surrounding the table "Though I could never understand some of what I have heard" She poked one of the bodies in the tummy "Eugh. Quite disturbing really. I prefer life, Im a plant mage. You could say im the complete opposite of a necromancer as I create or grow new life, Necro's 'recycle'." Waving a tattoed hand over one of the bodies missing a limb a white-green glow began to eminate, and soon roots were growing from where the limb had once been twining together to make a new limb except now it was a limb made of supple roots.

"Admin work? Oh you bet your sweet bippy on it! Top of my class in Buisness and accounting." With that she gave a proud nod. "But why do you need a mage to do Admin work, just cheaply hire some college student? Or is there more to it?" Giggling she picked up her bag and slung it over her shoulder and skulled the rest of her coffee. "no matter what though I guess Im your girl. No where is this so called job of mine? I sure cant do admin work at a cafe now..."

"This could be interesting, just don't get the wrong side of me or you'll end up with one of them." He grinned as the figures slowly disappeared, "And you do know that you can't create life from something that's dead right? That limb will be like it had never existed."

He nodded, "You will be required to do admin work and also be a teacher to some special students... I trust you like children? your workplace will be a building just down the street from here. I'll show you later."

"Yeah, But it never existed in the first place so there is no differrance. Was just a spot of fun, and missing limbs just arent cool." She grinned, and at his comment about his wrong side she just laughed "Cheer up Buttercup, you wouldnt hurt your new favorite admin girl now would you? You better not or i will slip you some Loo-oovely nightshade into your coffee or i'll really turn your nose green." Thinking to herself she scratched her nose again, Could she really turn a nose green? she didnt know...

"Ooh! Kiddies! Can i teach them cool tricks like how to be little juvenile delinquents? Or do i have to be all Good role model. Pfah! No matter what it will be fun! The kids must be traumatised for having such a grump for a teacher." She loved children and now she couldnt wait to finally get to her new work. "Uhmmm.. One more thing..Is there a couch there i can sleep on? Its kind of cold outside..."

"I will provide you with your own room in the building, but the building's out of bounds until tomorrow." Fauste answered, "I could give you enough cash to stay in a hotel until then... And if you try anything foolish, I will know. The walls have eyes."

He took another sip of coffee before he continued, "You'll teach them to control their own magic... More of that when you've actually started working."

Zachs strolled along the sidewalks, taking in the buildings around him. He'd only recently arrived and was currenty attempting to find a worthy job for a living. He cast curious glances into each building's window, hoping to catch something of his interest. "Hm... I certainly won't be able to tolerate making shoes for the rest of my life..." Zachs murmered, as he turned his head towards a building specializing in, obviously, shoes. Turning a corner, a certain building caught his eye. It was as plain as the rest, but something seemed to make it stand out. The man crossed the street to the doorway, and chanced a look inside.

Fauste had left Liz with an envelope containing some money for her first pay, and a paper with the building's address on it. Below the address is a set of phone numbers, and the words 'Report to work tomorrow at 8am sharp'.

As he rounded the corner, he caught sight of someone outside the building... Outside his building. Feeling rather curious and a little upset by trespassers, he walked right up to the male.

"Hello?"

Zachs blinked at the man approaching. "Ah, well... your building caught my eye, you see. I just couldn't help taking a look." His soft violet eyes glanced around the inner parts of the ground floor. "If you don't mind me asking, what is this place?"

"My house and workplace." Fauste replied, his eyes studying the other male, "And an Adoption Center of sorts..." He burried his hands into his pockets as he continued, "You need a job?" He had wanted new staff, but two in a day is a little shocking...

" Why, yes actually," he said pleasantly. " I've just come to this area and am not quite accomodated yet." A hint of a smile was on his lips as Zachs stood looking at the man.

"Then would you mind working here?" Fauste asked, "I'll give you your first pay today, and you can start work tomorrow. You'll have your own room in the building. However, I only have one requirement, that is, do you know real magic?"

" Hired already? I don't even know what I am supposed to do." His voice rose slightly to match his emotions, but was still the same pleasant flow. Zachs continued to smile at the man. " And not even properly introduced." He bent his arm and bowed. " Good day, m'sieur. I am Zachs Fenrir. And I suppose by real magic, you do not mean those rather interesting card tricks?"

"No, I mean mage magic," Fauste replied, raising an eye brow, "And I'm Fauste Shojo." He touched the door of the building, and took back his hand quickly. The door was frozen shut, and feels like it's winter inside when the sun is shining outside.

"And I'll go into details about your work after you've started."

"Ah, thought so." His rather long snow-white hair seemed to flutter as if a light breeze was blowing. But in reality, there indeed was no natural draft. "Something to do with the winds...," he said quietly, eyes maintaining the pleasant demeanor.

"It all seems rather interesting. I would be honored to be a part of your staff."

"Hm, then it's settled." Fauste grinned and nodded, "I'm sure you'll get along with the others... I seem to have a wide variety of elements now in the building. I'll see you at 8am tomorrow morning. Plese try not to be late."

"I'm sure I will," said Zachs, smiling broader. " I'd very much like to meet the rest. So, are you going to tell me what goes on here? Or shall I find out tomorrow?"

"You'll find out tomorrow." Fauste nodded and handed him an envelope. Like Liz's, it has some cash and a piece of paper with the address and letters under it.

"So, goodbye until then." He turned and walked away, happy that he had found enough staff.

Fauste went to the building early in the morning, and realised that the building was already unfrozen. He had cleaned up everything, and is now waiting for the new staff to arrive. It was 7 in the morning.

Not wanting to spend the money is the envelope she had been given Liz had decided to sleep once again on the streets and used the money to buy herself a much needed jacket and some warm black wool stockings so she was warm, Checking her watch trinket she saw it was 7 am, time for her first day at work at this strange new place.

With a sigh she lifted her heavy bad and crossed the street, she had decided to sleep near the building so she would be right on time. She just hoped they had a tap there somewhere so she could wash her face.

To her the building looked decent enough, Before walking inside she wiped her feet as to not drag mud inside and she brushed off her clothing. Inside she saw fauste and she waved to him "Ready for work Mr Boss sir!" Grinning she made a pose as if waiting for applause.

Melody made her way to the building, bobbing her head to the music from her headphones, as Kaylee flew beside her. Unknowingly, she began to sing with the tune out loud, but softly, she didn't like people to hear her singing. She pushed open the door, entering, 'Fauste, are you around?"

"Morning to you, should I show you to your room?" Fasute answered, but before he could continue, Melody came in. Looking at her, he frowned.

"Humph, why are you here? Who knows what will happen if you-know-who returns."

Melody cocked her head slightly, her eyes sweeping over the newcomer interestedly, "I'm fine now, so why shouldn't I come? Plus, I haven't seen him in ages, since that day, and I've been meditating?" she shrugged, "Who is she?' she asked jerking her head towards the woman beside him.

"My room? Oh yeah that would be nice- Wow more people!" She smiled to the girl that had walked in the door, she looked much friendlier than fauste and made Liz relax up a bit. "Hi, Im Liz the new Receptionist. Nice to meet you?" She then grinned. This wasnt going to be half bad.

"Your room, to stay here." Fauste said, "Unless you want to sleep on the streets, that is." He looked at Melody, "I still don't trust you... ANd yeah, she has alraedy introduced herself."

Melody grinned happily, "Hi, I'm Melody! Glad I won't be the only one anymore to put up with Fauste," she quiped, giving Liz a bear hug, "Just joking of course," she added to Fauste, winking.

"Yeah yeah i know what a room is, I said it would be nice to see it silly." Tsking she waggled a finger at him "All that dark magic of yours must be clouding your hearing."

"Hi Melod-Gakk!" She wheezed as melody bearhugged her, she felt as if all the life was being hugged out of her and all her bones were being turned to mush. "Cant..Breathe.." as Mel let her go she caught her breath. "hehe..He does seem a bit grumpy" she chuckled in fauste's direction.

Into the shop walked a tall young man, with long hair tied back in a ponytail, and a patch over his right eye. He stretched out a bit as he walked in, and a few joints cracked, causing him to wince and bite his lip for a moment. The blue eyes trailed their way over the people in the shop, but ultimately came to rest on a case of gems. That noticed, he filed it away in his brain for later, and approached the woman who seemed to be in charge here. "Good morning, sir. And ladies. I was wondering if you might be able to help me with a... small dilemna."

"b*****d..." "What?" "b*****d..." "You've already said that..." "Doesn't matter, you're still a b*****d." Mya's blue and green swirling eyes shot sharp glares at Dante, trying to dig the deepest holes she could on his 7' tall body. On her hand, a deep blue sodalite gem glowed faintly, almost unnoticeably, awakening the curiosity of the by-passers. They had been at the pointless argument for quite sometime, after leaving home. How could he have done that to her? Wasn't there enough children around, now she'd have to raise yet another one just because of a stupid birthday wish??? Damn it all... "Are we there yet?" "We're here Mya. Couldn't you just cool down? It's not like it's anybody else's fault..." Dante asked, trying to calm the rather ticked off woman. He didn't even try to look directly into her face, just the thought of trying to stand up to her chilling gaze sending shivers down his spine. They were standing in front of the Latice shop, and took their argument inside, as if there was nobody else around. "Cool down? COOL DOWN??? Didn't I tell you after Caetana that we'd better let them grow before adopting anybody or anything else? It's not liek you're around enough to help, and when you do it's just to tick me or D off!" "Now, that's not my fault and you know that!" They were practically shouting at each other, one step away from taking it down the road. Instead though, Dante took his voice down, trying to keep his own cool, and bowed his head lightly to the poor innocent listeners. "Besides, there's other people in here..." "What?" It was as if she had changed in a fraction of second, tunning down as she looked around. Yup, people... "Oh... Sorry..."

Fauste frowned, where were all these people coming from? He looked at the gem in the female's hands and then nodded, "Yes, hello everyone... I'm Fauste, this is Liz and the red head is Melody. How may I assist you all?" He leaned against the wall, wondering what everyone wants. So noisy, yet still so early in the morning...

Zachs stepped in through the doorway once more. He looked around and ran a hand through his hair. " Soooo..." he murmered. As no one was there to greet him, he decided to find the others himself. Walking at an even pace, it didn't take long for the man to pick up voices. Zachs moved towards the source of the noise.

Gywn started exploring the building after Mel agreed and made Kaylee follow her. The phoenix flew behind the little girl, keeping an eye out for any dangerous things. Gywn giggled and imitated Kaylee, spreading her hands out and flapping them, "I a birdie too!" she exclaimed, running down the hall with Kaylee chuckling behind her.

Kyun didn't understand why Blythe liked to leave her alone in the large building, especially by herself. Still, Kyun was used to it, and as she usually did, tried to take the time to look around and explore her surroundings.

At the sound of noises coming down the opposite hall, Kyun dashed forewords-- curiosity lighting her features as she wondered who she'd meet this time round.

Gywn laughed, dashing down the hall, her arms still spread out. Suddenly, she spotted someone else and halted in her steps, almost falling down but Kaylee caught her just in time. She smiled up at the burd, giving the bird's beak a playful tweak and toddled towards the newcomer. Kaylee gave a wince, 'I still can't believe Mel made me baby sit' but nevertheless gave a grudging grin to the little Krystal. "Hoo are you?" Gywn asked, grinning.

Well, this one was friendly!

"Kyun." she responded promptly, continuing to stare. Preoccupied by the bird however, her attention shifted. Pretty colors...

"You?" she asked, not sure which one was more important. A girl who looked like her, or a pretty bird.

"Gywn," she replied, smiling back at Kyun, motioning to the bird, she said, "Kay-kay."

Kaylee sighed in frustration. 'Now she's mutiliating my name.' "Kay-lee," she said pointedly, both to Gywn and Kyun.

"Kayee?" Kyun nodded her head, entranced. Looking aroun and realizing that they were the only ones in this particular hall way, she nodded her head. "Want to play?" she asked, nodding at Gywn." reaching out for a hand, she waited.

Kaylee blinked, 'Seems like I have a couple of new nicknames now', she thought, shaking her head.

Gywn grinned back, taking Kyun's hand, "Sure," she replied. "Where to play?"

Kyun stopped, shrugging. Well. She had been to most places... but those most places ended up being rooms too similar to each other to really count. "Is there a playground?" she asked, mangling the words but leaving enough sense that it could be decoded.

Gywn's eyes lit up as she spotted an open door, pulling Kyun inside and with Kaylee following. She stared at colourful boxes all around her, unaware that they were board games as she didn't exactly know how to read.

Looking at the boxes, Kyun let out a squeal of delight. Letting go of Gywn's hand, she ran into the middle, staring at them all. They were so bright! Picking one up and opening the lid, she looked down at the snakes and ladders... shrugging, she opened up the game board and placed it on the ground.

Next, she went around looking for another board. Hey, this one had little houses one it! Giggling, she bought a handful of the green and red houes over, sat down, and waved Gywn over.

Gywn's eyes widened in interest as she rushed over to Kyun, interested. She picked up a red house, examining it curiously. Kaylee perched herself on a table, keeping an eye on the two toddlers.
