Ragnarok is Dagorhir's nation wide weeklong event in Ohio. It's full of fun days and merry nights. http://www.dagorhir.com/ragnarok/index.htmlThis year is Rag XXI. Thats right Rag is legal!!! ^_^ Last year was an awesome Rag, I'm really excited about this one. Anyone else going? I sure as hell am. Come hell or high water, I'll be there. This will be my third Rag and my 4th year in Dagorhir. I'm planning on having an awesome time. Bardic Compatition, Roman Crusifictions, and all the other fun night-activities. Of corse the battles. The past two years I've had to sit out a lot of fights because of a wrist problem. I don't plan on haveing this problem again. (a got a Doctor to fix me...yey!)

I'm definately going to Ragnarok this year! It's going to be oh so fun biggrin I'll be camping with Eryndor this year. Who are you camping with? It's going to be my third Ragnarok as well. I can't wait!

I'll be camping with Gestiguiste. I LOVED the Eryendor call last year. You actually might remember me. I was one of the 3 chicks who stopped by your camp to sing the bukkake song.

Well, last year I camped with The Militia (I am in their unit afterall), but this year I'll be down in Eryndor with the boyfriend. We compromised, I agreed to camp in Eryndor as long as he agreed to camp near Evil Eryndor (yeah, Eryndor has an evil side now), not to mention I was tired of having to climb a mountain everytime I wanted to go back to camp smile .
I do remember you from the Ragnarok video the Crynolyn made, though. Fun times smile
I can't wait till this year!

Actually, I find it to be easier to climb when drunk. It takes longer but you don't really notice. The trick is to just lean forward and eventually you'll stumble yourself to the top smile

It is a pain to climb several times everyday, but the view is wonderful as well as the shade. And you don't have to worry about raiding parties or anything like that. By the time they reach the top they're too tired to fight. Especially the ones weighed down with plate or chainmaille armor. I must say I will miss the tree coverage I had, but the close proximity to the loos makes up for it tenfold smile .
I won't mind leaving the poison ivy behind either. The treacherous plant wasn't in the cleared out part of camp (the fire pit, the tent areas, etc.) but if you set foot in the woods at all you were bound to be tromping through poison ivy.

Katje is my battle name. But if you're looking for me you'd best go and visit Eryndor. Although, on Tuesday night of Ragnarok, I think The Militia has something fun planned. Last year they put on a little improvisational play. It was pretty amusing. Also, if you do any of the woods battles this year, wear shoes. There are all kinds of poisonous plants and pokey bushes that can trip you up. I talked to a few fighters who went up in to the woods battle last year and tore their feet feet up on the vegetation. Not fun at all.
