Hi all!
One idea of the shop listing was to also list auctions. the plan is to have the auctions listed in th guild for two particular reasons:
1) The way the GMA Shoplisting thread is set up there's not really any space for auctions in the main listing.
2) By setting new threads up in the guild moderators can edit the auctions listing, too. (Which is a major point, as I think auctions listings need more attention than the regular listing).
We'd like to set three threads by topic (that would be 'art auctions' and 'breedables auctions' and 'basics auctions' (needs anthoer name, is meant for lineart auctions and the like)). Unlike the regular listing the auctions would be listed by expiring date (those with little time remaining listed first).
The following information would be needed from the one holding the auction:
Name of Auction:
Name of Auction holder:
Url/Banner: (Banner optional)
Sample/s:
Staring Bid:
Staring date:
Ending date: (we'd like to have times in GMT, as that's a time format that everyone can calculate easily.)
We were thinking about a small fee to list auctions, but we weren't sure about that.
To set this feature up we'd also need some mods to help.
We were also thinking about setting up a special thread in which the holders of auctions would have to submit their information. That way it would be much easier to check for mods and myself if there were any new auctions.
If we set up a few it would be divided between the mods. 3nodding
On another note: we were thinking to set up something similar for art contests (ok, I know it's not exactly a minishop, but it is related to minishops, especially since coloring contests and the like would be listed, too).
We were also thinking of setting up a list of Art Request threads.
So, what do you think? Do you like the idea/s, any suggestions for improvements, or even people raising their hands to be mods for the auction purpose? wink

Sure sounds good. I'm usually around in the R&C area, there's a lot of auctions there. *slowly raises his hand*

I've noticed, too. ^__^ Especially in R&C there are tons of auctions and I think it would be neat to have them listed by expiring date. I'm just not really sure how to get through with the organisation. sweatdrop
