All of the entries we received were splended, and it was terribly hard to pick a winner at all, but after much deliberation, here are the winners:
1st Place (5K) - trixterschoice
What's great about this piece, besides its passionate voice, is that it really tells the story of Avice, and her character's ordeals in Crosshaven. It's deeply involved and straight from the heart.
2nd Place (2K) - Thrudd
This beautifully constructed poem expresses the themes of her character, in rich language.

I had fun at the event, as I hope everyone else did as well.
This unlooked for praise for my literary dross has me embarrassed but I am glad to be counted as one among a group of creative storytellers.
I hope not to disapoint and will try to be more active in the future.
