Are there any special mag parts in the offline mode for the Gamecube/X-box version for a special mag?

I'm pretty sure you have to be ONLINE to get any special mags...

Yes, all of the above is correct. Mag Cells are only avalible ONLINE. This way, Sonic Team can lure you to get online.

From what I know, that item is a "Quest item". So, it is impossible to keep it after the quest ends.

I know that you can only download the holiday quests one the holidays, but they are all comng up soon n_n yeah sooner or later if you are onlne you'll have a crack at them, I still haven't seen a holiday rappy... o_O;
I'm sure they are somewhere though.
