This FAQ topic is not yet complete. Please do not post here since it is only a reference topic.

As of now, there are really only two ways to up any of your stats. Stats being all those things that are numbered on your personality cards.

The first way is through attending classes:

How many times can I take a class?
Classes are divided by difficulty. There is the Introduction, the basic class itself, and then the Advanced version. You may take each class as many times as is needed to pass that class. A passing grade is any grade that gives your magical stat at least a +1 bonus..

How are the classes run?
Each class has a 'session' of five assignments. You can tell what number assignment the class is currently on by looking at the top of the documented post. 1/5 means it's the very first class of the session. 2/5 means it's the second class of the session. It's usually best to wait till the class reads 1/5 before you start doing the assignments. Classes are run as Lectures in which your Fei has 'sat and listened'. There will be an assignment that follows, and open RP until the collection and grading of the current assignment.

How is my fey graded?
After a session is completed, the grades are added up using a point system and then divided by 5. The resulting number is the amount of points added to whatever magic stat the class influences. For example:
Esoi's Grades: A, - , - , D, C,
A= 5 points
B= 4 points
C= 3 points
D= 2 points
F= 1 point
-= 0 points. (You only recieve a - if you do not complete the assignment)

So Esoi's grades would add up as follows:
5+0+0+2+3= 10/5= 2 So Esoi gains 2 points in his magical stat.

How do I get good/bad grades
Well thats a bit of a complex question. Part of the grading is determined by the written part of the assignment. If you type it up with poor punctuation, grammer, spelling, and put in really poor content or obviously wrong content your fey is going to recieve a very very low grade. Another part I consider is the attitude and overtones of the post. If your fey doesn't put much or any effort into completeing the assignment then they will recieve a really low grade.

It should be noted that I do not favor huge or insanely detailed posts. If you can only post a small RP paragraph then thats all you can do. You may or may not recieve the highest score but hey...it's like that in RL too.

PLEASE remember to post accordingly to your Fei's age. If you have a child, there should be nothing in your post about them 'secretly practicing spells' that are beyond the allowed level. No Fei is born almighty or with some hidden gift. YOu only achive a 'Gift' by roleplaying, growing, and reaching a perfect 100 in your Focus.

If you are posting beyond what we believe your Fei should be capable of, we will warn you once, and then take active measures to ensure your Fei does not advance magically.

Another way to raise stats are through role play and journal posting.

How do I RP for Stat Points?
Well, first you role play or solo your fey in a RP thread. With your first post, include in parentesee's exactly what your fey is working on. This makes it easier for me to pick out of the role play who is working on a stat and who is just having fun. Please transcribe all posts into your journal to make it easier for us to read over.

Sample:
{ ("I'm working on Esoi's Strength) Today Esoi wandered out into the woods, grumbling to himself about how unfair his brother was. Coming to a small clearing Esoi was shocked to find the small river that was usually freely running was blocked by a landslide of large rocks. Sighing as he noted that the stream had diverted, he rolled up his sleeves and waded out to begin picking the rocks up one at a time and carrying them to a clear space. }

Mind you, this does not mean you will automatically gain one point for the above sampled post. it only means you are working on Strength and you will be required to make multiple posts over a period of RL and IG time in order to gain that cherished point.

Another means of gaining points in Stats, Skills, and Magic is through Jobs or Quests.

What are School Jobs and Quests?
A Job or a Quest is a 'opening' that LW or LC posts on the 'Help Wanted Board' thread. Some jobs have requirements to be taken, some have limited avalibility slots. Each Job or Quest has a RP requirement to be fulfilled in order to gain points.

Example:
{Library Assitant; Requires Teen stage, 1 post a day for 2 weeks RL of the Fei working in the library. Either aiding other students finding materials, putting Materials away, or copying transcripts. Gaine: 5 points to Intel.}

Realisim according to your Fei's attitude is mandatory. If your Fei is lazy, sloppy, or simply really disinterested, you must reflect this in your posts. You may not achive the maximum amount of points in Intelligence, but you may gain points elsewhere to make up for the points lost in that particulart stat.

Example:
{Esoi takes the job as a Library Assitant. He makes it to work the first three days, spends the fourth eyeing some girls when he should be copying transcripts, he spends the fifth napping in the loft instead of looking for some hard to find books, and skips the next three days because he fakes bing sick. Due to his lack of commitment he only gains 1 point of intelligence. However, he also gains 3 points in Cunning, due to his sneaky methods and 1 point in charisma from charming one of the cute girls.}

It should be noted that 1 post must be made each day still according to the requirement of 1 post a day. Even if it is he is skipping work. Quality is a sure way to gain good points. If you post something like this:

Esoi walks in, holding his tummy. "I'm sick, I can't work" Esoi waits for the librarian to nod and stumbles back to his dorm to laugh about the stupid librarian.

Don't expect to get many points. A tiny post like that is noted towards the count needed, but in the end Esoi may only get that 1 intelligent point due to the lack of content and quality needed to get the other bonus points.
