Welcome to the first official Raevir tracks race. First prize is a March letter, second prize is a nice cloud of dust.

READ: The rules will be turn based. Each racer has a set of Speed and Handling points that they must divide into four separate scores in keeping with their car's max and min outputs. To make things more equal, (and easier for me to calculate), the points allocated will be the same for both cars:

Spoints - 52
Hpoints - 54

I will then randomly roll four numbers and that number will choose which score is used.

Drafting will be limited to one draft per round. If the draft ends in a tie, the drafter fails the attempt.

*ahem* the rules to this match are a little different, Sil. The racers list four scores and the official will roll for which score to use. (Read the first post)

Ah yea. Sorry bout that. I didn't intentionally do that. I had to leave to go somewhere when I started posting last night, and couldn't get back to finish.

I am doing it right, right?

Not really, the way this race is played is different from the ones done before. There's a different way of determining the scores.

Ok then..
Now since I read the rules on the actual "Rules Page", now I'll give this a try.

1.) 26
2.) 26
3.) 27
4.) 27

That right?

sorry about not responding... I'm going to be out of town longer than I expected. sweatdrop You've got the idea, yeah, but you're using too many points. The first part of the track is L15, so you use the Spoints listed. The Spoints for each racer is 52, so the four numbers can only add up to 52 points.

dont take this the wrong way...but if an official has to roll for each person...why not just do it the normal way? i am completely confused with this new system.

Ah, its cool.
Ok I think I get how to do this, kinda. I get the whole divide by 4 thing, but not sure on how your going to add all this up and see who gets the lead and all. Pretty confusing as Cal said.
To be honest, I'd just stick w/ the old way of racing. It seemed to work quite well. The whole thing about people being able to cheat, well I understand why you made this new way of racing tho. But if I was you Rae, I'd just do it the other way, and try to trust people w/ their rolls. It's totally up to you tho. Not trying to force anything on you or anything. lol.

Ok well here's the new scores then. I'll just go all out even.

The official rolls once and that number is used for both racers. That means the position of your scores mean something in comparison with your opponent.

I admit the new way is more complicated that simply rolling, but it's not that much different from the old rules and the ability to choose scores gives you a little more control over what you get instead of rolling a random number.

ok i am trying to understand this. the 4 numbers represent s-min/max and h-min/max? or what? and we get to distribute them to where for what purpose?

yeah, they represent the rolled number if you're comparing it to the other race. The difference is, you choose what you roll and the official (me) will generate a number between one and four which will decide which roll to use. Just divy up your points and you'll see what I mean.
