Okay. I don't know about any of you, but I'm curious how we should decide this. D: I figure we should talk it over instead of later arguing about it. That and.. I don't want to go through the hassle of making banners and prettying things up...and like find out someone else did some and so did the next person. So.. Discussion for Now: Alpha? Who and Why? MMmmm that's a hard one x.x It'd depend I figure where we're heading rp-wise. I... really don't mind whose the alpha - so long they kinda.. uhm, rp? I mean, obviously why want to be alpha if you're not even going to be there or rp? that sort of thing
... that said, I don't think anyone did banners <3 ^^

Well, I could make banners if you guys want, but... sweatdrop I'd honestly rather someone else did-- I'm rather bogged down with school and life right now.
As far as Alpha goes... *considers* Who's planning on joining this flock?

Ijustcan'tseeSorasAlpha he's a cute lil dweeb *loves Sora* Dweeb rule the earth 8D! ... anyhow =X; 'sids, usually alpha means mates (USUALY, not always, but usually at any rate) what if sora and kairi owners have other plans temselves? ((Edit: random... dude, since when does =X = :X ? O_o; ))

Ya... This is going to be a bit... of something to decide, I guess. o_O
I was the one who mentionned Sora and Kairi... but I don't mind who winds up alpha, as long as they rp and all. I don't want anyone to feel presured in the position if it's against their plans or anything. o_O;;;
Btw... you don't want Setzer as alpha... or this flock is headed riiighhhhtttt to hell.... XDDD

I'd actually... no offense... prefer if Sora and Kairi weren't Alphas? sweatdrop Just 'cause... well, it would be cute, but I don't necessarily think that it's the best way to go about things. Sora may be the main character of KH, but I wouldn't exactly call him responsible. xd Same could be said of most Disney main characters though...

In actual fact, I don't want Sora to be an Alpha. XB I don't see him as a leader at all. He's like Karma said, a peace maker. So I'd say prolly a beta or something. Not alpha.
Kairi either. In game, I don't see her doing..a whole lot..?
I didn't know that Riku wasn't in the flock or I'd vote on him. :O Riku seems more the type to try and lead for the good of everyone else and not really a good follower. ahahha.
8B I'm not going to be bent that you guys feel Sora shouldn't be Alpha. Hell I'm right there with you. XD don't sweatdrop and 'no offense' so much. <3

The fight for dominance in a flock generally doesn't start until Adolescent stage. Right now everyone is just to assume that there's den mothers and whatnot (NPCs), but as your Gryphs grow, you can start to show how a certain one might be tougher than the others (Beast and Riku, for instance), but the real fight generally won't be until Adolescent and Adult stages.
If you want my personal opinion, which I already voiced to Oni, I think Kairi and Sora would better serve as the Betas because they're both actually very logical when it comes down to it and while they don't entirely lack leadership skills, those skills would only need to come in handy if there is a departure of the Alpha pair.
But, again, a tournament is also something fun you guys can do. Right now I think that while discussing possibilities, you should all try to come up with a list of rules and requirements for the flock. Do you want it to welcome only Kingdom Hearts characters, video game characters, or is it open to everyone?
I'll be watching the thread and everything so no one has to freak out about power playing. razz

I think we should leave it open for KH, FF and Disney characters. I dun know much about two just yet so someone'd have to fill me in on that so much.. I mean that leaves losts for tons of people quite literally. 8B;
Auurrhh.. What the purpose of the flock Should be.. That's a tough one.

hmm.. not sure on that one.
I think we should do breedings through permission from the alphas to present paopu fruit to the courted. That just seems sweet.
On the idea of tourneys. We could do the Mt. Olympus things. That'd add some flavor to it. Phil cup, Hades cup ect. I'd offer to draw the lil cup images for those. Make it kinda sweet, lil images of the winners.
No gummy ships without a permit? Iunno. I'm outta steam.

xd I love the idea of the paopu fruit for courtships. That's adorable, and keeps with the theme.
The cup idea would be fun-- RP contests and the like mebbe? xd *luffs all over RP contests like whoa*

Hm... we should have some sort of metaplot though, for the KH flock. That would be fun. Anyone up for thoughts? *likes metaplots lots-- comes from gaming too much*
