The main nest of the Wyvern Clan. Located on a rocky slope looking over the savanna. Most Wyverns spend their time here when not performing their duties. Nurses and chicks usually only leave for getting water at certain times of the day.

The small Wyvern chick walked (wobbled.) up the slope back up to the clan's nest. The slope wasn't all that steep, but to her it was. If not for the rocky terrain, she would have tumbled backwards back down the hill, but thanks to the stones she was able to climb back up. Gripping a large rock with her thumbs, she hoisted herself up onto it, then fell forward, rolled a few feet, and then flopped onto her stomach. With a sigh, the young Wyvern pushed herself up off the ground, then walked over to a small patch of semi-tall grass beneath a large rock. It seemed much like a mini-sized cave, only it only went in about a foot; it was big enough to fit a small adult Wyvern, but since no other Wyvern's had claimed the spot, she took it for herself. Curling up in the middle of the patch of grass inside the little alcove, she wiped her mouth off with her thumb before laying her head down on the soft grass, promptly falling asleep.
